Today, 2K announced NBA 2K25® Season 8, which showcases all-new rewards, tournaments and more in MyCAREER, MyTEAM and The W, will be launching this Friday, June 27.

As the 2024-2025 NBA season wraps up with budding superstars in the NBA Finals, the longtime pros and aspiring talent of the WNBA all set their sights on a championship. This Season spotlights Las Vegas Aces’ superstar A’ja Wilson, three-time WNBA MVP and NBA 2K25 cover athlete, who personifies greatness with her athletic excellence. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced LITTLE NIGHTMARES™ III, developed by Supermassive Games will launch on October 10, 2025, for PlayStation®5, PlayStation® 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PC via Steam® and Xbox on PC, and Nintendo Switch™ and Switch™ 2. Pre-orders started today on all platforms except on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, which will start at a later date. Grit and Valor – 1949 Launches on August 21 on Console and VR

Grit and Valor – 1949, the dieselpunk real-time tactics roguelite from developer Milky Tea and publisher Megabit, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games Store on August 21. Currently available on Steam, Grit and Valor – 1949 is set in an alternate-history World War II, where players command an elite squad of resistance mech pilots against the technologically superior forces of the Evil Axis.

To coincide with the console launch, the team at Milky Tea have joined forces with nDreams to create a VR edition of the game. Free for all PC and PlayStation 5 owners, this edition reimagines the game’s dynamic real-time tactics in a whole new reality, giving players the opportunity to get up close and personal with the battlefield. The game will also be available for purchase separately on the Meta Quest store.

Sengoku Dynasty Bushidō Update Explained

Developer Superkami and Publisher Toplitz Productions jointly announce that the next major content update for their genre-blend Sengoku Dynasty is available today.

Since its release in Early Access, the mix of life-sim, settlement builder, survival adventure and action underwent a slow transformation with a plethora of meaningful updates, based on both the extensive roadmap as well as the invaluable player feedback. The new content pack ‘Bushidō’, updating the game to version 1.1, is no exception and delivers a new threat to the Nata Valley in the form of raids by various villainous factions. However, since Sengoku Dynasty wants to cater to the players’ gameplay preferences as much as possible, raids can be deactivated as well, if a more peaceful experience is preferred.

But what are raids? Bandits will not only roam the area or inhabit small camps. They will eventually start to attack your villages, try to capture your bell tower and ransack your dynasty storage. So set up your defenses, employ guards and make sure that your villagers are safe – or at least that you can catch the raiders and reclaim the loot before they disappear.

While you can minimize the risk by attacking and destroying bandit camps on your expeditions into the scenic world of Sengoku Dynasty, you can never be fully safe. Thankfully, rumors spread fast in Nata Valley, so you will hear of an upcoming attack with enough time to prepare your defensive tactics.

Warhammer Skulls 2025 Celebrates Record-Breaking Views

Warhammer, along with their licensed partners, are thrilled to reveal that this year’s Warhammer Skulls showcase has broken last year’s record, reaching over 30 million views of the showcase and more than 15 million views of individual trailers across all channels and platforms.

The annual festival for Warhammer video games kicked off the games summer showcase season with perhaps its biggest announcements to date: Dark Heresy, Dawn of War – Definitive Edition, Boltgun 2, as well as Space Marine Master Crafted Edition, followed by week-long extravaganza of sales, offers, and special free to play games.

Four games included in the week-long event received six figure wishlists across the week-long event, while four titles charted on GameDiscoverCo’s countdown of ‘trending’ unreleased Steam games by 7-day new followers: Owlcat’s CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy at number two, Dawn Of War – Definitive Edition at number five, Space Marine Master Crafted Edition at number eleven, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 at number twelve.

Following the successful announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, Owlcat Games has launched the Lex Imperialis DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. From today, players can experience a new Arbitrator companion and Cyber Mastiff Familiar, alongside 15 hours of new story.

“It’s also a great time for new players to jump into the Rogue Trader adventure if they haven’t already. Our next big title, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, was also incredibly well received — the attention and volume of questions we’ve got have been remarkable. Yesterday, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide released its Warhammer Skulls-announced Arbites class, allowing players to access the first new class since launch, complete with Cyber Mastiff support.

“Announcing the Arbites Class at Skulls was an incredible moment for us and the community. The response has been phenomenal. There was a lot of speculation from the teaser. Once it finally came out we really felt the excitement from the community and I think we exceeded their expectations,” said Juan Martinez, Executive Producer. “The class only released yesterday and we’re already seeing Darktide players surprising us with the builds they’re making for their Arbitrators. It’s been amazing to watch it get so much love from the community so quickly, it really shows how much the Arbites resonate with the way people want to play.”

And that’s not all, this bumper Warhammer week finishes with new content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Siege mode will arrive on June 26th as a free PVE update, with Season Pass owners also able to receive new cosmetic packs, including The White Scars Chapter Pack and The Blood Angels Cosmetic Pack.

In case you missed it, these launches follow on the heels of the recent releases of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition on PC, Xbox, and Game Pass, and the Khorne team who are now on the pitch as part of Blood Bowl 3 Season 9.

Dune: Awakening Celebrates 189K Concurrent Players

Dune: Awakening, the Funcom-developed, open world, multiplayer survival game on a massive scale, has launched to rave reviews, and is currently sitting at an 85% Very Positive Steam rating with over 28,700 reviews. It currently has an 80 rating on Metacritic and 81 on OpenCritic. Take a break from spice hunting and see the new Accolades trailer.

In the first weekend following launch, Dune: Awakening beat its peak concurrent players record three times, reaching over 189,000, and massively beating the 53,400 record of their previous title, Conan Exiles. It is now also Funcom’s fastest-selling game of all time. Since the Head Start, Dune: Awakening has consistently been among the most played games on Steam.

As the soaring response from players, press, and content creators has exploded online, key aspects of the game have been noted in particular. With a deliberately positioned alternate timeline, the faithfulness to the Dune universe, and the visual and aural inspiration taken from Denis Villeneuve and Legendary’s blockbuster films, is clear. VGMAG, who gave Dune: Awakening an 8.5/10, said it’s “…the best way to experience Arrakis.”. 4P scored it 9/10 and said “I don’t know of any game world that is more Dune than that of Dune: Awakening.” For those who have waited years to explore an open and living Arrakis, Dune: Awakening has delivered.

It’s not just the authentic and immersive world which has captured critics. FBC: Firebreak Patch v1.2 Now Available

Remedy Entertainment has released Patch v1.2 and provided a launch week update for FBC: Firebreak, a three-player co-op FPS where the Federal Bureau of Control’s first-response unit must contain an escalating paranormal threat.

You can read the full post here, which details improvements to the first hour experience that includes faster progression, splitting cosmetics and gear into separate Requisitions (tracks) so that players have an easier time to unlock more powerful weapons and tools that they want. The post also details Remedy’s first thoughts and plans on how they will improve the FBC: Firebreak experience.

Remedy has also released the latest “Surviving the Workplace” video which details the Hot Fix Job players can play in the game.
