Descenders Next Out Now

No More Robots and RageSquid are excited to reveal that Descenders Next, the long-anticipated follow-up to downhill biking hit Descenders, is out now on Steam, Xbox, and Game Pass for Xbox and PC, with a price point of $29.99 / £24.99 / 28.99 euros.

Starting with snowboarding and mountainboarding, Descenders Next will aim to become the only extreme sports game you’ll ever need, slowly but surely adding more and more adrenaline-fueled activities over time.

Building on the success of Descenders – which has seen 35 million players since it launched seven years ago – Descenders Next is the natural evolution of the original experience. We asked ourselves: Where do we go from Descenders? How do we deliver the same feel, the same sense of speed, but expand beyond mountain biking? From there, the idea of perfecting the fluidity of numerous sports was born.

With Descenders Next, players will learn to conquer the snowy caps through tight, effortless snowboarding action, before taking to the highlands with the grittier feel of mountainboarding. Each sport feels and handles differently, meaning players will have to learn to tackle and master every nook and cranny of Next.

Descenders Next already features as much content as the original Descenders, with full online multiplayer action, tons of tricks and grinds to pull off, and multiple huge biomes to explore. Players will earn rep as they scale the mountain, and use that to buy new boards, kits, helmets, goggles and more to customize their rider.

Last time around, Descenders provided both procedurally-generated tracks, as well as a selection of hand-crafted parks. With Descenders Next we’ve brought it all together with a more natural experience, as players will tackle procedural off-piste mountains that chain together into tight, winding parks and vistas.

The parks in particular provide fresh new challenges, while also acting as Next’s playgrounds of fun. Sometimes you’ll be required to dash down the mountain with your friends as quickly as possible, while other times you’ll be aiming to focus on your tricks and perfect landings. Scavenger hunts will see players exploring every inch of the mountain, and unlocking special rewards for those who venture the deepest.

Top it all off with an absolutely banging soundtrack from Monstercat, and you’ve got even more reasons to spend hours on the slopes, chilling out to the latest in drum and bass hits.

Hell Clock Launch Trailer

Made in Brazil by the Brazilian dev team at Rogue Snail, Hell Clock is a dark retelling of the late 19th century War of Canudos. Players will delve into the depths of Purgatory and Hell, facing down the demons of Brazil’s past, present, and future. Revived time and again by the magical Hell Clock, restricted in the time they can spend in the depths, fighting as fast and as far as possible in each run.

Hell Clock has launched with a full three-act campaign as well as a Beta version of Ascension, an end-game system sure to challenge even the most experienced RPG and roguelike players. Rogue Snail has also shared a content roadmap for the game, including gameplay updates over the next few months, as well as an expansion coming in 2026: Hell Clock: Cursed War. For more information, see the Steam blog from the devs. The base game, future expansion, original soundtrack, and “Step into Hell” visual effect can be purchased as a bundle in the Hell Clock Supporter’s Edition for $29.99.

“Hell Clock is our love letter to Action RPGs, roguelikes, and Brazilian History,” said Mark Venturelli, CEO of Rogue Snail and Creative Director on Hell Clock. “We’re all huge fans of both genres, and we play way too much Path of Exile. Our goal with this game has always been to fit the feeling of an entire PoE league or Diablo season into just a few hours of Hell Clock.”

“But Hell Clock is much more personal to us than that. I grew up in Salvador, the capital of Brazil’s northeastern state of Bahia where the War of Canudos took place. We learned about this massacre growing up, but it’s a black mark on Brazilian history that not many of my countrymen and women outside of Bahia know much about. Hell Clock is an effort to share our culture and our history with the world, both inside and outside of our borders.”

Fans of ARPGs like Diablo and Path of Exile, as well as roguelikes like Hades, will find plenty to love in Hell Clock. Already embraced by both communities, the game’s pre-launch demo received 96% Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam.

The Future of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

In the run-up to the release of Season 4 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown on July 23, Alexander Arthur aka Alex VII, Racing Content Manager at NACON presents a new Dev Diary with the developers of KT Racing. In this lengthy video, a first of its kind for NACON and produced entirely in-house, the developers reveal all the new features for the upcoming season, as well as an exclusive preview of the content and features eagerly awaited by the community, planned for Year 2 and beyond.

Since its launch in September 2024, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown has been enriched throughout its first year with new content, as well as numerous technical, Quality of Life, gameplay and network stability improvements. After exploring sunny Ibiza city and discovering new mission types such as Navigation and Convoy, players will soon be able to enjoy a whole new experience with the arrival of the Casino at the start of Season 4.

The Casino will enable players to wager their virtual currency on activities such as slots or poker (coming mid-season) and will provide special rewards including an exclusive car as well as various avatar and car cosmetics.

Season 4 also introduces Stock Races (a set of brand-new races in which only factory cars can take part), the Active Aero feature (an improvement in spoiler behavior for cars that have one), the ability to completely hide the HUD, the Group Ping (add up to four routes to the GPS and invite the group to consult the route plan) and 5 new cars.

The Solar Pass now offers two circuits: a premium circuit, obtainable with Diamonds, the new currency, and a free circuit available to all players. Owners of the Silver (Streets or Sharps) and Gold editions can claim this Solar Pass for free (with an additional 20 levels automatically unlocked for the Gold edition). Season 4 marks the end of Year 1.

Year 2 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, scheduled to run from October 2025 to July 2026, will offer even richer content than Year 1, and will introduce features eagerly awaited by the community, such as cab missions, the creation of new mission types voted for by players, Official Racing Centers to facilitate PvP, houses, as well as a set of Quality of Life improvements and an upgrade to the internal game engine, the KT Engine.

All seasons remain free for all players, with the exception of the Solar Pass, whose premium circuit can be obtained with Diamonds from Season 4, and will always be accompanied by new seasonal content, including new cars, Quality of Life improvements and new gameplay features. The developers are continuing to work on several aspects of the game, including economic balancing, optimizing the game for both consoles and PC. They are also studying the long-term implementation of cross-region, crossplay and offline mode.

The Lacerator Gameplay Overview Trailer

Trashy survival horror The Lacerator just unveiled a new trailer packed with all the limb-detachment, grindhouse chaos that awaits in the upcoming release from Games From The Abyss and publisher DreadXP. Presented by developer Fernando Tittz, the trailer doesn’t shy away from the game’s 80s movie-inspired violence and adult humor, setting the stage for both a terrifying and hilariously deranged survival nightmare that will feature branching paths, multiple endings, and many unexpected, bloody surprises.

The Lacerator is a tense survival horror mixed with the vibe of watching an 80’s grindhouse thriller, throwbacks included, that pays homage to horror genre classics with retro-inspired low-poly visuals and tank controls. Explore a branching environment, fight enemies, and solve puzzles in order to progress in your mission to escape this hell on earth. But beware of The Lacerator and his many traps; you can lose a limb in real time, drastically changing your options for gameplay. Exploration will be crucial for survival, as will fighting. Sometimes you can run away from your foes, but things will often be easier if you can manage to take them down.

Max, a famous porn actor and best to ever do it, is the star of the show. During the latest recording session with his crew, things get really hard when everyone is attacked and abducted by THE LACERATOR. Now inside a filthy hideout, Max must do whatever it takes to escape alive and in one piece… But that likely won’t happen, as the psycho killer loves to LACERATE his victims! What part of your body will be cut this time? Who knows? The LACERATOR does. There are multiple main escape routes, but depending on your remaining limbs, you lose access to some of these paths. Each of these present a different narrative branch that will provide answers not available in the others. Do you dare go back and put the big picture together?

The game’s demo received a massive update today, featuring new playable areas to highlight the multiple paths available for Max, new endings, puzzles, cutscenes, and lacerations… including a very private one (that you already know about if you watched the trailer). New items and weapons are also debuting today, as well as The Man in the Wall, a character available to trade items with.

The Lacerator launches on PC in 2025.
