Just in time for the season of scary, The Fabulous Fear Machine offers a globe-trotting single player campaign that makes a game of wide-spread hysteria. Each of three story chapters focuses on a new Master of the Machine as their twisted morality play unfolds. From a scientist’s conquest of the pharmaceutical market in Eurasia, to a small-town insurance salesman’s fumbling foray into local politics, to a hell-raising tale of televangelism in the Americas, the game satirizes the institutional giants of contemporary life.

Scene Investigators Release Date Trailer

EQ Studies is thrilled to announce the release date for their true crime-inspired, deductive investigation game, Scene Investigators! Set in the near future, you play as a trainee in pursuit of becoming a licensed investigator. Presented with a set of reconstructed case files that border between challenging and perplexing, your goal is to solve them and pass the test. Scene Investigators is a deductive reasoning game that leans heavily on keen observation, filling in the missing gaps, looking for motives when they aren’t there, and coming up with several plausible assumptions to progress through the investigation. It’s a different type of murder investigation game from the same developers who created The Painscreek Killings; it is less about story and more about deduction.

Features:

  • “True Crime” Detective Experience – Players must observe each scene carefully and analyze everything. They will take note of anything that stands out and write down suspicions as they navigate through the crime scenes. There are no hints or hand-holding, so they must use logic and intuition to solve each case.
  • Immersive Murder Mystery Puzzles – Piece everything together, not only to understand what happened but also the connection between the perpetrators and their victims. The only tools are keen perception, mental sharpness, and real-life wisdom.
  • 70/30 Principle: Hypothesis Testing – Players may find that some evidence is missing, limiting them from making the best conclusion. One-Punch Man: World Pre-Registration and Closed Beta Test

Publisher A PLUS JAPAN and Crunchyroll Games announced the pre-registration of the new action game One-Punch Man: World for mobile platforms. Players can now pre-register on Google Play and App Store for pre-registration rewards.

The game’s first closed beta test is also announced and scheduled between Oct. 18th – 25th. Players may apply for a chance to become a tester from Oct. 3rd by filling out a signup form.

Today, Paradox Interactive and newly-created studio, Channel 3 Entertainment, announced a publishing partnership for the upcoming PC game Foundry. In Foundry, players are given the freedom to build the perfect factory of their imagination. A voxel procedurally-generated factory-building simulation and automation sandbox, the game is currently in development. A new demo for Foundry will be available for free during Steam Next Fest, from October 9 to October 16.

Foundry is a first-person, factory-building and automation sandbox set in a beautiful, procedurally-generated voxel world Starting from humble beginnings of manually mining and processing resources, crafting machinery, and developing technologies, players can advance to automating the entire production line to their precise plans. They will face different logistic challenges such as pipe networks and power systems working to expand their constantly growing production lines as they create their own gigantic, automated, and self-sustaining factory. Played solo or with friends, Foundry is the perfect mix between grid-based construction games and factory building simulations.

V Rising Getting New Updates Prior to Full Launch

Stunlock Studios today have published their latest dev blog post for V Rising, providing new insight into some of the many features being worked on ahead of the upcoming launch of the full game, planned for Q2 2024.
The devs have been hard at work upgrading V Rising’s foundations to create a more stable and well-supported 1.0 version of its game engine to ensure a smoother game experience. All this will be ready in time for the reveal of a brand-new, yet to be named zone; a dark and icy realm found beyond Hallowed Mountains, where new weapons, enemies, and a formidable challenge awaits! Fans will rejoice as news of live events, revamped spell mechanics, and enhanced character customization are all in development to expand on this already immersive vampire experience.
