Lots of new (unedited!) gameplay scenes, unsettling enemies, and suspicious surroundings can be found in the new trailer, ‘Looking for Jeremy,’ for Alone in the Dark:
Immerse in gloomy neighborhoods and dangerous situations, questioning what’s real and what’s not. Ammo is scarce, and the monsters are pure nightmare material—sometimes it’s better to run and avoid fights.
The scenes will vary depending on whether you’re playing as Emily or Edward, making it worth experiencing both perspectives with two playthroughs. However, no matter how safe a moment may seem, the tide can quickly turn…
In this cruel business, the law of survival is the only one that really matters. In Hollywood Animal, scale dizzying creative heights, enjoy glamour and debauchery, face dark deeds and accept unpleasant compromises. This is the true face of Hollywood of the 20th century. Wishlist the game now on Steam and take a first peek at Tinseltown’s twisted underbelly in the announcement trailer below:
Weappy, the game’s developer, are staying true to the story-driven approach the studio is best known for in titles such as This Is The Police and Rebel Cops, this time combining it with all the depth and complexity of the finest economic simulators. Hollywood Animal boasts everything we love about the genre – building, resource management, upgrades and much more – but what really matters is what choices you make, and the all too human stories that get written along the way.
Build exactly the studio you want. Make it a multi-billion-dollar monster, or a trash factory that challenges “good taste” at every opportunity. Do whatever you like, if you can keep the whole thing afloat. This game doesn’t tell you how to play or limit you in anything.
Of course, the film industry is just one part of a much larger world. Wars and social upheaval, censorship and corruption, strained relations with the government and criminal disputes. Make your moves behind the scenes, form unexpected alliances, lie and betray.
Any approach is good – we are, after all, only animals. You can stick to the law – or stay on the authorities’ good side. You can raise the screenwriter’s salary – or remind him about the prostitute he strangled, which you yourself had hushed up. You can delay a film’s release to avoid competition – or ask your friends in the mafia to clear the whole calendar.
You’ll want to take great care, when picking the actor for the lead role in your Civil War epic. But in Hollywood Animal, it’s just as important how many ribs you’ll have to break before he accepts the part.

NeocoreGames is thrilled to announce that its critically-acclaimed dark fantasy role-playing tactical game, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, is coming to consoles in 2024. Fans will be able to immerse themselves in the mystical realm of Avalon from February 22, 2024, when the game launches digitally for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
A unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a modern retelling of classic Arthurian mythology filtered through dark fantasy tropes, and presents a compelling twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.
The game originally launched on PC, following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020 that earned the game a devoted and passionate fanbase. Since its original PC launch, the game has been lauded by critics, described by RPG Fan as “a top-notch tactical RPG” and “the definitive King Arthur game.”
Thekla, Inc. today announced that Braid, Anniversary Edition is officially coming to PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Netflix on April 30, 2024. Originally released to critical acclaim in 2008 by Jonathan Blow, Braid is a puzzle-platformer that allows players to manipulate time in strange and unusual ways as they journey through unique worlds en route to rescuing an abducted princess. Upon initial release, Braid was heralded by critics with universal acclaim, myriad perfect scores and still holds a 93 on Metacritic.
Braid, Anniversary Edition reimagines what The A.V. Club called “the definitive indie game” for modern, high-resolution hardware via a variety of changes and updates that still preserve the fundamental integrity of the original release, including:
Improved sound and new mixes and variants of the soundtrack by Martin Stig Andersen (Control, Inside) and Hans Christian Kock
Hand-repainted graphics by original artist David Hellman
Animations with extra frames, for smoother in-game motion
Ability to switch back and forth between the old and new Braid on the fly
15+ hours of commentary featuring Jonathan Blow, David Hellman, Marc ten Bosch (Miegakure), Brian Moriarty (Trinity, Loom, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel), Casey Muratori (1935; Handmade Hero; Computer, Enhance!), Cris Moore (gamer, resident faculty at the Santa Fe Institute), Frank Cifaldi (Video Game History Foundation), Martin Stig Andersen, Hans Christian Kock, and Jakob Schmid.
Notably, the extensive and detailed developer commentary track offers a significant enhancement to the core Braid experience, as the Thekla, Inc. team offers their thoughts and insights into puzzle design, programming, visual art, math, the history of independent games and many other topics of interest to both fans and aspiring game designers alike.
“The goal is to make it the craziest, most-in-depth commentary ever put in a video game,” said Thekla, Inc. founder Jonathan Blow. “You can follow particular threads of commentary spatially, through wormholes that go from level to level to see evolutions of particular concepts; the commentary has lots of markup so we can circle stuff on the screen, point arrows at whatever visual detail we are talking about, show diagrams, play back recordings of gameplay to show what happens if you try doing this or that in a particular level, and many other capabilities.”
Braid, Anniversary Edition launches April 30, 2024 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Netflix. The title will also be coming to Mac and Linux at a later date.

Chucky, the infamous killer doll from the cult classic films as well as Universal Content Production’s hit series on USA & SYFY (US) and STACKTV (Canada), is the newest Killer to step into The Fog in a new Dead by Daylight Chapter. Players would be remiss not to experience his playful cruelty on November 28 when the newest Dead by Daylight Chapter launches from Behaviour Interactive in collaboration with Universal Products and Experiences. Until then, those who dare can discover thrilling new gameplay mechanics that everyone’s favorite “Good Guy” brings into Trials in the time-limited public test build on Steam.
“We know Dead by Daylight fans have been clamoring to see Chucky in game and we’ve been dying to make it a reality,” said Bill Kispert, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Business Development, Universal Games and Digital Platforms. “It’s the perfect time for Chucky to unleash his particular brand of mayhem upon players in Dead by Daylight, while he also terrifies them in the latest season of the highly entertaining and always shocking USA & SYFY series.”
“It’s a character that I never thought we could bring into The Fog because of his size,” notes Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive. “The team has outdone itself to prove me wrong. Players are in for a treat – Chucky in Dead by Daylight really is the unmissable multiplayer horror gaming experience.”
Small But Deadly
Players should not underestimate the power of this Killer, nor should they underestimate his foul mouth. With new lines voiced by none other than Chucky’s original voice actor Brad Dourif – a question emerges: what is more scathing, his knife or his tongue?
With effective tools for sneaking around the Map, Chucky is a force to be reckoned with, utilizing his Slice & Dice ability to lunge forward and attack unsuspecting Survivors. Though his height does have its limitations, Charles Lee Ray, in his human form, appears as a spirit to assist him in Hooking Survivors, as well as interrupting them while they’re Vaulting or Repairing.
On the other hand, his stature gives him an incredible advantage while hunting, forcing Survivors to always keep both eyes and ears open. His larger-than-life rage and pint-sized build let him vault through windows and under pawllets allowing him to close in on his unsuspecting prey, unlike any other Killer before via his Scamper ability. From the iconic rat poisoning scene from Curse of Chucky, the deathly yardstick from Child’s Play 2 or even the electrifying TV from Bride of Chucky, there are a variety of add-ons inspired by iconic moments bringing the franchise to life while elevating action for players.
“Like a tiger on the prowl, you’ll only ever know where Chucky is on his terms; terms that usually involve a knife and his many weapons of choice”, mentions Jason Guzzo, Game Designer on Dead by Daylight. “He adds such a fun flavor of jump scare to the game, and his voice lines are a darkly comedic twist to the gameplay of Dead by Daylight. It has been an absolute honor to add him to our ever-growing roster of Killers.”
Customizable Good Guy (Or Gal) Outfits
Players will be able to customize their little Killer through a series of terrifying outfits fit for only the most notorious of serial killers. In a unique twist, players can even go as far as customizing their Killer with The Good Gal outfit – inspired by Tiffany Valentine aka the Bride of Chucky and voiced by the legendary Jennifer Tilly, this outfit brings Chucky’s other half to life like never before.
The Dead by Daylight: Chucky Chapter will be available on all supported platforms on November 28.
