As rumors spread about his final days, the gunslinger is besieged by outlaws attempting to take his life for a shot at fame. With the help of a young mentee (Ron Howard in an ACADEMY AWARD® nominated performance), Books is going to go out in the same manner he lived his life, guns blazing. Recently divorced Yoshimi (Hitomi Kuroki), struggling to maintain custody of her daughter Ikuko (Rio Kanno/Asami Mizukawa in dual roles), moves into a dilapidated apartment complex to begin their lives anew. Strange occurrences begin as Ikuko is drawn to the darkest areas of the complex, and Yoshimi begins to have nightmarish visions. Equal parts haunting and horrifying, Dark Water is Nakata at his very best.
The 4K UHD special features include interviews, the original ‘making-of’ documentary; trailers and TV spots; a reversible sleeve featuring original and newly commissioned artwork and more.
Publisher and developer MY.GAMES announced today that treasure hunting and extraction shooter HAWKED is playable on PC via the MY.GAMES Launcher and Steam, on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.
HAWKED is a unique extraction-shooter in which teams of up to three players (or solo) race to collect and extract Artifacts from a remote island called X-Isle. Players (also known as Renegades) use unique abilities and multiple combinations of builds to compete against each other. On the treasure island they have to secure and extract Artifacts that can only be reached by fighting other players for the prize, solving puzzles, avoiding traps, and getting rid of local monsters. A new Dev Diary gives insight into the creation of the game and what inspired the developers to create HAWKED.
The first team to successfully extract Artifacts from the island wins the hunt. To ensure that every session is rewarding, players can also extract smaller treasures, or trinkets, and leave the island (dead or alive) with useful currency they can spend on improving their character. The ambitious third-person extraction shooter’s executive producer Andy Duthie is thrilled to welcome players from new platforms:
‘Whilst making HAWKED, we wanted to create the ultimate treasure hunt. A game that brings that sense of adventure into every game whilst also being approachable and with a laser focus on creating a fun experience in every match. For that we always had consoles in mind from the very beginning. We can’t wait for players to enjoy their hunt together through cross-play and wreak adventuring havoc across X-Isle retrieving artifacts and becoming a legendary treasure hunter.”
The launch of the PC and Console versions kicks off with first season of the game: “Issue #1”: Renegades. In Renegades, the game’s playable treasure hunting heroes start exploring the mysterious X-isle with the help of treasure hunting corporation GRAIL. New secrets and mysteries will be revealed as the story unfolds culminating in an explosive climax that sets up the next big story moment. A recent roadmap already laid out future Issues which will feature new content and a constantly evolving storyline. HAWKED also launches alongside a sizable update to the existing Early Access version with a newly designed user interface and refinement to shooting and movement mechanics based on user feedback during Early Access.
Fight Dirty
Scavenge guns and ammo to fight other players and monsters in PvPvE encounters
across the island. Strategically use your environment and utilize underhanded tactics to get the
better of your opponents. Choose your own way to take your enemies down by setting up ambushes while other players are solving puzzles, or use the trap filled tombs to your advantage by luring other teams to their doom, no tactic or trick is above reproach when securing the artifact.
Customize your Renegade
HAWKED is designed to bring you a vast variety of character appearance customization. With a huge suite of apparel pieces, hairstyles and colors to visually customize their characters, players can mix-and-match to show off and be outstanding. Artifacts, gear, and boosters to create their ultimate treasure hunter and attune their gameplay to their preferred style.
Players can use them along with 16 types of gears such as boomerangs, deployable covers, a scouting falcon, and more, offering a wide range of customization options and gameplay styles. Gears and Artifacts are upgraded using currency gathered from selling and/or dismantling treasure on the Riftwake, the game’s social space. From sneaky assassins, to team focussed support, in HAWKED players can take their ideal Renegade onto the island.
An Evolving Island
Players must explore X-Isle, a recently-discovered treasure trove filled with loot. However, the nefarious, scaly Disciples have also laid claim to the island, and will not give up their conquest so easily. X-Isle is an enormous dynamic map, with each session challenging players to compete on different parts of the island. Its treasures and Artifacts are hidden in boobytrapped temples and ruins throughout.
Players will also need to bring their wits to bear by solving puzzles to open doors and unlock important treasure troves. Matches will feature dynamic events such as an enormous Disciple Caravan carrying a treasure filled howdah on its back. This boss must be defeated to secure its Artifacts. Over time, X-Isle will evolve through updates, limited-time events, and seasonal launches.
The latest news and updates will be shared on the game’s official website and social channels.

In Crown Wars: The Black Prince, you are plunged into the middle of the Hundred Years’ War as several royal families engage in violent conflicts to decide who will control the most powerful kingdom in the western world. Today, Quantic Dream and Sand Door Studio are proud to announce the release of Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, a new tactical hack ‘n’ slash published under the label SPOTLIGHT by QUANTIC DREAM.
The game is now available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store at a recommended retail price of $24.99. To celebrate the release, partner platforms will offer a 20% discount during the first week of launch, for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
“We’ve put much creativity and care into Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, and I am so excited to see how players will challenge themselves and make the game their own,” states Thibault Legouet, Game Director at Sand Door Studio. “It is an honor to lead the development of Sand Door Studio’s inaugural game, and to see a bright idea from our student project grow into a full-blown game. I hope players will have tons of fun strategizing, challenging themselves, and summoning an army of their past selves to save the kingdom of Antala.”
Thanks to the godlike powers of the game’s protagonist, Imë, players can rewind time a few seconds in the past and summon clones – remnants – to overpower their enemies. Each arena can be defeated in countless ways with a combination of remnants, spells, and weapons, bringing a strategic approach to battle.
Additionally, players can push their limits by changing the difficulty of settings and adding combat modifiers to unlock new rewards with a special game mode called “Figments of Battle.” By replaying and optimizing each arena, they can challenge themselves to rise to the top and beat the game’s high scores.
The game is fully dubbed in English and is also available with subtitles in the following languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Latin American Spanish and Turkish.
Furthermore, Quantic Dream and Sand Door Studio have released the game’s official soundtrack on digital streaming platforms, available today in partnership with KidKatana Records. The soundtrack blends various music genres – such as electronic, dark ambient and industrial tribal – and the composers Thomas Lanza and Pablo Gomez have taken inspiration from artists like Ulf Söderberg, Steve Roach, and Tzol’kin, among others.
