Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone Early Access Announcement Trailer

Like the first part, Chernobylite 2 is a story of people who try to accomplish an impossible mission and survive in the sinister Chornobyl Zone. Cole Grey, a former military and security guard, lives in a reality where the economy and industry are based entirely on a substance called Chernobylite. With its help, people have made a real leap in civilization. However, the construction of the utopia has been paid for by massive unemployment, pushing people like Cole to the margins of society. Due to severe financial problems, he joins the mysterious “Planewalker” initiative to provide for his family.

It quickly becomes apparent that there is a shortage of Chernobylite in Cole’s universe, and the solution is the morally questionable initiative that involves traveling to parallel worlds in search of the mineral and obtaining it by any means possible. In addition, the Planewalker service requires appropriate genetic modifications. Cole must, therefore, physically absorb the essence of Chernobylite and, to increase his physical and intellectual capabilities, lose a part of his humanity. However, seeing no other options for himself, he agrees to the bloody and dangerous service, which results in him ending up trapped in the most sinister place in the world: the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. There, he meets a Black Stalker, the Zone’s dark guide and silent ruler.

Today, we’re revealing a brand new story trailer that introduces the plot of Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone.

Our current Kickstarter campaign is live here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thefarm51/chernobylite-2-exclusion-zone-an-open-world-sci-fi-rpg/.

Whether you’re a fan of classic third-person RPGs or modern first-person adventures, you should be comfortable experiencing Chernobylite 2 in a way that is more natural to you.

Chernobylite 2 has just reached the 170% level of funding on the Kickstarter and there’s still a week to back the project in the campaign that achieved another stretch goal. Thanks to this, the game will receive extra locations for playing coop and solo missions.

Soon, all Kickstarter backers will get access to the demo and Beta version of the game so you can expect the first game previews soon!

Chernobylite 2 will be released on Steam in Early Access on March 6th, similar to the first part in 2019, which was awarded the Top Early Access Platinum Graduate on Steam.

Noodle Cat Games Unveils Action-RPG Cloudheim

Today, independent game development studio Noodle Cat Games unveils its debut multiplayer action RPG Cloudheim, launching in Q3 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Combining crafting with chaotic physics-based combat, players will explore, fight, loot, and grow their base to help restore an ancient Norse-inspired world to its former glory.

“Cloudheim blends the exceptional talent of a veteran team with an experimental, iterative development process informed by science and modern psychology,” said David Hunt, CEO and Founder, Noodle Cat Games. “Every member of the team has a meaningful creative impact, allowing us to push exceptional gameplay quality for our team size, budget, and development time. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and how the team has proven this process is ultimately better for the ones who matter most – our players.”

In Cloudheim, players will rally allies for spectacular, combo-driven combat in a destructible world, where enemies take more damage when they use physics to destroy them. Players can harness powerful abilities and craft ever-evolving weapons to unlock new skills and devastating combos. A myriad of diverse islands and mysterious dungeons are waiting to be explored from players’ flying turtle base, Odin Shell. Cloudheim can be experienced solo or in up to 4-player online co-op with a cast of characters and creatures to guide the player’s journey. Blending fast-paced action and dynamic crafting, this brand-new action RPG is a colorful fantasy realm waiting to be transformed.

“Our core gameplay began with a simple question – what if we take the juggling from fighting games, and make it the combat foundation in a co-op action RPG?” said David Hunt, CEO and Founder, Noodle Cat Games. “Mix in a hauntingly beautiful world, a chaotic symphony of physics combos, and base customization – that’s Cloudheim. We can’t wait to see the creative combat gameplay players discover and share with their friends.”

Cloudheim’s key features include:

  • Mastering Chaos: Mayhem is unleashed in a fully breakable world. Players can chain powerful abilities together and coordinate devastating team combos to crush their enemies. This includes tearing down pillars onto monsters, lassoing enemies into tornadoes, shooting Greebles out of cannons, or kicking exploding barrels into the fray.
  • Rising Together: Players can join forces with up to three friends in online co-op, sharing every weapon and ability unlocked as they grow stronger together and discover new playable characters.
  • Forging Infinite Possibilities: With visual crafting, players will never have to wait for a friend in a menu as they can craft a massive array of weapons, gear, and powerful abilities usable in battle – or sell if they don’t need them. Perhaps someday they can even craft worlds…
  • Cruising the Skies: Odin Shell, a massive, ancient turtle that carries a fragment of a dead god’s power, is players’ refuge and portal to the world. They can expand their workshop, customize their space, run a thriving shop, and uncover hidden secrets as their fortress takes flight.
  • Exploring an Untamed World: Players can adventure across diverse islands and explore mysterious, changing dungeons filled with challenging enemies, puzzles, crafting resources, and valuable loot waiting to be discovered.
  • Teaming up with Fantastic Creatures: The resourceful Blins, the ever-hungry Gnasher, and the spiky yet loyal Swordcupine are all here to help players on their adventures.

Breakout Beyond – Announcement Trailer

Today, publisher Atari and developer Choice Provisions (the studio behind BIT.TRIP) announced Breakout Beyond, a vibrant new reimagining of the series that invites players to break on through to the other side. Coming to PC and console later this year, this new entry into Breakout lore will challenge players not just to break every brick, but to creatively breach the wall with score-building combos. Breakout Beyond features a whole new sideways perspective, 72 levels for players to blast through, and two-player co-op, designed to share the high-octane brick-breaking with a friend.

In this neon-infused twist on the classic 1976 arcade game, players smash through each puzzle by clearing bricks to reach the final goal. However, the script has been flipped—literally! Players now progress sideways, breaking through barriers and building up combos that ramp up the intensity of the effects, rewarding the most skilled players with a dazzling light show. Breaking special blocks offers powerful advantages, like massive brick-clearing blasts, a protective barrier to shield the ball, and a laser cannon to carve a path forward. Each one unleashes stunning dynamic effects, delivering dazzling visuals never seen before in Breakout.
