Apogee’s Survival Horror Nightmare “Total Chaos” Demo Out Now

Total Chaos, a relentless survival horror experience developed by Trigger Happy Interactive (the New Zealand-based creator of Turbo Overkill) and published by Apogee Entertainment, descends into madness on July 24, 2025 on PC via Steam. For those daring enough, a special VR edition will be included with the base game for an even closer brush with terror.

Awaken to a living nightmare as a wayward Coastguardman, adrift at sea and slipping into a fractured reality. Take refuge on the haunted shores of Fort Oasis, a long-abandoned coal mining community cloaked in mist and decay. Venture ahead with only one guide: a distant, crackling voice on a walkie-talkie. But can it be trusted?

The remnants of a forgotten world now hide unspeakable horrors in the shadows. Navigate warped sights and eerie echoes while scavenging for vital supplies and crafting materials in abandoned apartments, crumbling facilities, rusted corridors, and foreboding graveyards.

Survive a psychologically damaging gauntlet of grotesque human-monster hybrids. Move unpredictably as the abominations observe player behavior, mimicking movements and attack patterns. Keep a tight grip on reality… Monitor health, fatigue, bleeding wounds, and hunger while the Madness system warps the mind. Hallucinations blur the line between real and unreal, as shifting walls and hidden passageways reveal valuable loot… guarded by horrors best left undiscovered.

Scour the ruins for materials and piece together makeshift weapons like axes and pipe wrenches. Strike from a distance with throwables like bricks and bottles, craft molotov cocktails in a pinch, and conserve scarce firearms for the most nightmarish encounters. But choose wisely… Total Chaos’ weighted inventory system punishes hoarders, slowing movement when burdened with excess supplies. Take only what is needed to make it out alive.

Piece together the chilling fate of Fort Oasis by uncovering handwritten notes and scattered letters, each revealing fragments of its lost inhabitants’ final days. After release, Total Chaos will take the terror further with an all-new Epilogue DLC (available for purchase) – featuring an extended narrative, unexplored locations, and a never-before-seen tenth chapter. For the bravest survivors, step directly into the nightmare — Total Chaos: VR Edition will let explorers experience Fort Oasis and Total Chaos’ strikingly detailed and immersively haunting environments through the Coast Guardsman’s own eyes.

“Total Chaos combines survival horror with psychological intrigue and a deep narrative designed to unsettle and instill doubt,” said Sam Prebble, developer at Trigger Happy Interactive. “The extra content available on PC will allow fans to face even more terrors across Fort Oasis.”

Total Chaos arrives on PC via Steam on July 24, 2025. Prepare to brave the upcoming horrors by following @Apogee_Ent on Twitter, subscribing to the Apogee YouTube channel, and joining the official Trigger Happy and Apogee Discord servers.

Watch the MotoGP 25 announcement trailer:

Technical skills, mental strength and strong passion are key ingredients for any MotoGP rider eager to leave a lasting mark in the sport. This mix of characteristics can be summarized as the “heart of racing,” the concept behind the new MotoGP 25, which blends these elements to offer fans the most comprehensive virtual MotoGP experience yet.

The all-new Training Sessions feature is one of the new additions to the latest chapter of the franchise. Hone your skills away from competitions in the Motard, Flat Track, and Minibikes disciplines. Tackle dedicated challenges set on original tracks, while admiring the stunning environments.

Regardless of players’ skill level, the new MotoGP 25 allows everyone to express their racing passion with the new Arcade Experience, a simplified racing experience available in all game modes with all types of bikes. This option is more accessible for players less familiar with motorcycle simulators, but still offers the thrill of pushing yourself to the limit. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, every detail comes to life, while newly recorded bike sounds, captured from live recording sessions with the original bikes, combine to deliver a fully immersive MotoGP experience.

Due to popular demand, the Riders Market, FIM MotoGP, and Stewards are returning for MotoGP 25. Accompanying these features is a new Bike Development System that will give players more control over the evolution of their bikes through the season, while managing social relationships in the paddock to take fans deeper into the life of a real rider.

Those who want to test their limits against riders around the world will appreciate full Cross-play*, available from day one, as well as the new ranked races. Moreover, the LiveGP Championship* is back with new challenges, while two-player local split-screen is the perfect choice to race from the comfort of the couch.

Once again, the community can unleash their creativity with the game’s editors. From the helmet editor—where a player’s design even became a real helmet worn by Maverick Viñales at last September’s San Marino GP—to customizable racing numbers, butt patches, stickers, and new podium emotes, players can personalize their virtual rider and share their creations across platforms.

The next chapter of MotoGP is just around the corner. The formation lap has already started, so get ready for the lights to go out on April 30, 2025.

Game in Style (and Mischief): Razer Enki X Kuromi Edition Chair Review

The Razer Enki X Kuromi Edition gaming chair is a delightful fusion of comfort, ergonomics, and playful aesthetics, designed to appeal to gamers who appreciate a touch of personality in their setup. This special edition chair takes the solid foundation of the Razer Enki X and infuses it with a vibrant Kuromi theme, transforming it from a functional seat into a statement piece that embodies the mischievous spirit of the beloved Sanrio character. While the standard Enki X is no slouch when it comes to comfort and support, the Kuromi Edition elevates the experience with its distinctive design and attention to detail.

From the moment you lay eyes on it, the Enki X Kuromi Edition commands attention. The predominantly black chair is punctuated by swathes of vibrant purple fabric, creating a visually striking contrast that perfectly captures Kuromi’s signature color scheme. The intricate cross-hatched pattern on the fabric adds a layer of texture and depth, further enhancing the visual appeal. Subtle yet recognizable details, like the embroidered Kuromi logo on the backrest and the iconic skulls adorning the headrest, serve as delightful nods to the character’s mischievous nature. The overall design is a testament to Razer’s commitment to creating a chair that is not only functional but also a reflection of the user’s personal style.

But the Enki X Kuromi Edition is more than just a pretty face. It inherits the core ergonomic features that make the Enki X a comfortable and supportive chair for extended gaming sessions. The built-in lumbar arch provides crucial support for the lower back, promoting a healthy posture and reducing fatigue. The chair’s wide seat base and optimized cushion density offer a plush yet supportive seating experience, striking a balance between comfort and proper posture. The dual-textured, eco-friendly synthetic leather upholstery feels luxurious and supple, adding to the overall sense of quality.

Adjustability is key for any gaming chair, and the Enki X Kuromi Edition delivers in this regard. The backrest reclines up to a generous 152 degrees, allowing you to find the perfect angle for gaming, working, or simply relaxing. The 2D armrests can be adjusted for height and angle, ensuring that your arms are properly supported and your wrists are in a neutral position. The chair’s height is also adjustable, allowing you to tailor it to your desk setup and personal preferences.

While the Enki X Kuromi Edition excels in its design and comfort, it’s worth noting a few limitations. The lumbar support, while effective, is static and cannot be adjusted for height or depth. This might be a drawback for users who prefer more customizable lumbar support options. The armrests, while adjustable, only offer 2D movement, lacking the forward and backward adjustment found in some higher-end gaming chairs.

The price is another factor to consider. The Enki X Kuromi Edition commands a premium over the standard Enki X, reflecting the unique design and character theming. While the aesthetic enhancements are undeniably appealing, the price increase might be a barrier for some users. It’s crucial to weigh the value of the design against the additional cost and determine if it aligns with your budget and priorities.

Ultimately, the Razer Enki X Kuromi Edition gaming chair is a compelling choice for gamers who value both comfort and style. It delivers a supportive and ergonomic seating experience, wrapped in a visually captivating design that celebrates the beloved Kuromi character. While the price premium and limited adjustability are factors to consider, the overall package is undeniably attractive for those seeking a chair that is both functional and expressive.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5

Pros:

  • Visually appealing with black and purple colors, Kuromi logo, and themed accents.
  • Built-in lumbar arch, wide seat base, and optimized cushion density for long-lasting comfort.
  • 152-degree recline, 2D adjustable armrests, and adjustable height for customized support.
  • Sturdy frame and high-quality materials for long-term use.
  • Clear instructions make assembly straightforward (though the chair is heavy).

Cons:

  • Significantly more expensive than the standard Razer Enki X.
  • Static lumbar support and 2D armrests may not suit all users.
