WRC 8 Pre-Order Editions Unveiled

Lesquin, France, August 1, 2019 – Bigben and the development studio Kylotonn are delighted to reveal the different editions and pre-order bonus content of WRC 8, the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship. WRC 8, now available for pre-orders, will be released the 5th of September 2019 on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, PC and in October on Nintendo Switch™. Players can choose from three different editions: the basic edition, the digital Deluxe edition and the physical Collector edition.

Players who pre-order any edition of the game will receive the RWD Legends pack, which includes legendary cars from bygone eras: the Lancia 037, the last rear-wheel drive car to win the World Rally Championship; and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS RGT, a powerful monster of a rally car. Manage your cards well, as you will be using them to move, attack enemies and upgrade your rider using Darksiders: The Forbidden Land’s unique new card economy mechanic. But don’t blow through them too quickly though, because once your deck runs out you’ve lost the battle.

The included Campaign Book has a thrilling story spread over 19 different levels – grouped into multiple scenarios – to play through. These can be tackled in sequence for an entire campaign play-through, players may choose to focus on a single scenario for a shorter gaming session, or even just play through a single level. With a variety of enemies as well as numerous modular hex-tile game boards included in the game, we also look forward to seeing fan-created custom levels and scenarios!

But wait…
We mentioned this game is playable with up to five people, but there are only Four Horsemen. How does that work? One of you can play as the game master, that’s how! Without the game master, there are rules determining how the enemies of the Four Horsemen will behave, but with a game master controlling the monsters an extra level of challenge is added as suddenly they can move tactically.

New Artwork for Stranger Things: Season Two Halloween Horror Nights Maze

July 8, 2019 – On the heels of the highly-anticipated debut of “Stranger Things 3” on Netflix, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have released new artwork for the all-new “Stranger Things” mazes coming to Halloween Horror Nights this fall. The artwork was designed exclusively by Kyle Lambert, who has previously illustrated art for Seasons 1-3 of the mega-hit Netflix Original series, and depicts the “Stranger Things” cast bravely facing a horrifying monster and ferocious Demodogs – a fate guests will soon experience themselves in the mazes at the nation’s premier Halloween events.

Inspired by seasons 2 and 3 of the critically-acclaimed series, this year’s chilling mazes will pick up where last year’s mazes left off, continuing the suspenseful storyline where a mysterious entity terrorizes the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, and delving even further into the parallel universe, referred to as the Upside Down. World War Z Post Launch Road Map Revealed

May 2, 2019  – Saber Interactive, in partnership with Focus Home Interactive, has announced the first phase in its post-launch content roadmap for World War Z, the action-packed co-op shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film. After celebrating more than 1 million units sold in its first week of launch on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, the World War Z team is moving forward to deliver new gameplay, features and improvements to the game month to month.

They will leverage their passion, talent, and more than fifteen years of experience making strategy games in the development of a brand-new Games Workshop title in a rich universe.

Artistic talent, passion, and innovative design are three terms perfectly defining the unique games from Limestone Games, an independent Estonian developer that joins the Focus line-up today. STRONG CONTENT ADAPTED FOR NINTENDO SWITCH AND MOBILE

An integral part of the ongoing Focus strategy announced a few months ago, the company will concentrate on Nintendo Switch along with iOS and Android platforms, using its flagship licenses and creating games offering exciting experiences adapted to these media.

Farming Simulator, the phenomenon franchise developed by the excellent GIANTS Software, will thus be available this year on Nintendo Switch. It will be accompanied by Call of Cthulhu and Vampyr, both produced on the Switch by the teams at Saber Interactive.

While MudRunner 2 will land on consoles and PC later this fiscal year, Focus is happy to announce that mobile players can also look forward to the ultimate off-road experience on their iOS and Android devices in the near future.

THE 2019 CATALOGUE REVEALED IN FULL

A few days from its scheduled release on April 16, World War Z, the 4-player co-op shooter from Saber Interactive adapted from the smash-hit film by Paramount Studios, will be playable to the press in attendance from around the world. The game will offer hefty doses of action and spectacle, where players will try to survive the immense hordes of bloodthirsty zombies composed of several hundred undead.

A Plague Tale: Innocence has already impressed journalists from around the world who were able to play a preview of the early hours of the game. It will also be playable during What’s Next as players wait to dive completely into this dark and poetic adventure at the release of the game on May 14.

Unveiled last year, The Surge 2 will also be playable for the first time. An exclusive hands-off presentation and a hands-on session will once again show the talent of Deck13 to create ever more advanced hardcore combat systems and sci-fi worlds
