Exclusive SPAWN Merch Announced for San Diego Comic Con

Tempe, AZ – July 2, 2019 – On the historic road to SPAWN 300 and 301, Todd McFarlane Productions will be relaunching licensed SPAWN merchandise for the first time in over a decade. The creator of SPAWN himself, Todd McFarlane, has placed extra care into curating each piece of the SPAWN Merchandise collection to ensure that it reflects the iconic superhero in the truest form. The release will signify Todd McFarlane’s momentous return to pencil and ink for SPAWN 300 and 301. Issue 301 will officially make SPAWN the Longest-Running Creator Owned Comic in the World!

The full-fledged merchandise assortment of all things SPAWN includes t-shirts, pins, lanyards, vinyl figures, and finally an exclusive SPAWN art print and comic book. These items are 2019 Event Exclusive merchandise and range from Classic to Modern SPAWN. All aspects of SPAWN are seen through the merchandise, which reflects a journey from the initial release 27 years ago.

There are two t-shirts available including the SPAWN Orb T-shirt and the SPAWN Parody T-shirt. The SPAWN Orb T-shirt features the classic SPAWN logo. The SPAWN Parody T-shirt pays homage to the anti-hero’s iconic red cape. Both shirts are available in sizes ranging from small to 3X and are priced at $25.00.

There are five exclusive pins included in the collection: SPAWN Logo Pin, SPAWN Parody Pin, SPAWN Triangle Pin, SPAWN Skull Pin, and SPAWN Orb Pin. Pin collectors are in luck with a range of classic designs from the comics release in 1992, as well as highlighting more recent features of the SPAWN series. The McFarlane Event Exclusive SPAWN Art Print features its own unique identification number and will be available in the limited quantity of 250 posters. Luckily fans may be able to get their limited edition Art Print signed because Image Comics is giving away free tickets to Todd McFarlane’s signing sessions beginning at 9:30 AM each day of Comic-Con. The SPAWN Art Print is solely available at the Image Comics booth #1915 for $20.00.

The collection will feature a new category of McFarlane Toys ripped straight from the pages of SPAWN Kills Everyone 2, the SPAWN BumBumz Vinyl Figure. The SPAWN BumBumz vinyl figure comes in premium packaging and contains an exclusive art card that features a scene from SPAWN Kills Everyone 2. World War Z Six Skills Update Released

Desperados III Closed Beta Test Announced

Hunt: Showdown Gets an Official Console Release Date

FRANKFURT (Germany), July 3, 2019 – Today Crytek announced that its multiplayer bounty hunting game, Hunt: Showdown, will see a full release on three major platforms this year. Hunt: Showdown for Windows PC and Xbox One will launch on August 27, 2019, for 39.99 USD/EUR. Meanwhile, PlayStation®4 players will see their own full release of the online game this fall. In addition to this digital release, Crytek is partnering with Koch Media to bring the retail version of Hunt to stores worldwide.

Hunt: Showdown launched in early access on Steam in February 2018 and on Xbox Game Preview in May 2019. Both platforms allowed the Hunt team the unique opportunity to front a community-driven development process by taking player feedback onboard and integrating it into the game’s development roadmap. Since that first release in February 2018, Hunt has seen nearly 20 updates and patches, including a new boss, a new map, two new times of day, additional AI, Quick Play, and more than a dozen weapons.

“Developing a game alongside such a passionate community has been so rewarding. Travel Channel Brings Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and Ghost Adventures to Comic Con

NEW YORK (July 1, 2019) – Travel Channel is bringing two of its hit series to San Diego this July for Comic-Con International – the iconic Ripley’s Believe It or Not! reboot hosted by Bruce Campbell and the network’s long-running, highest-rated paranormal investigative series, Ghost Adventures.

Inside the convention center, attendees can head to booth #4015 and cruise into Ripley’s Garage to view props and peculiar pieces from the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! collection — from shrunken heads to the original Star Wars® lightsaber. The Batman Experience Announced for San Diego Comic Con

BURBANK, Calif. – (July 2, 2019) – In celebration of the 80th anniversary of Batman, DC and AT&T* today announced THE BATMAN EXPERIENCE POWERED BY AT&T, a massive, interactive exhibition that includes the largest-ever collection of Batman-related props, costumes and vehicles. The immersive pop-up museum and gaming-centric installation will transport fans into the crime-fighting world of the Dark Knight and will be open to the public at the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park at 10 a.m. PT from Thursday, July 18th through Sunday, July 21st. No SDCC badge is required to enter this free exhibition.

THE BATMAN EXPERIENCE, custom-built by AT&T with DC, will include activities on all three levels of the Museum’s staggering 68,000 square feet space. A sneak peak of the exhibition will be available to attendees at THE GATHERING, a special ceremony inducting Batman into the Comic-Con Museum Character Hall of Fame on Wednesday, July 17 at 5 p.m., the first time a comic book character has ever been given that honor.   •  The Dark Knight Dive is the centerpiece attraction of THE BATMAN EXPERIENCE and a one-of-a-kind VR skydiving experience into the Gotham City. By combining a skydive booth with the magic of VR goggles and a helmet in the shape of a Batman cowl, gamers and Batman fans will enjoy a 4D interactive experience. Visitors will virtually fly through Gotham City in pursuit of the Scarecrow, who in attempting to take over the city, unleashes his Fear gas and creates a harrowing journey for fans through Batman’s 80 years of friends and foes.
  •  The Batcave gaming lounge will feature all generations of Batman video and arcade games straight from the DC archives – examples include Warner Bros. titles such as Batman The Brave And The Bold (Wii or 3DS), LEGO Batman 3 (PS4), Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4) and Injustice 2 (PS4) – and are all available to play as part of THE BATMAN EXPERIENCE.
  •  Hundreds of rare pieces of iconic DC comic book art and large-scale film and television props, including several from Tim Burton’s groundbreaking “Batman” film such as the Batmobile and Batsuit worn by Michael Keaton. The original Batman feature film is celebrating its own 30th anniversary this year. Joining these classic pieces will be a new car created by “Wayne Technology” that will give fans a taste of their future entertainment experiences in autonomous cars with 5G.
  •  WHAAM! KABOOM! POW! The Rogue Gallery Rumble is an interactive punching bag experience that uses projection mapping and lights to trigger classic and iconic animations and sounds throughout the space.
  •  A special 6-foot Batman Black & White Statue designed by acclaimed artist and writer Todd McFarlane will be unveiled on July 17, marking the 100th statue in the line. The one-of-a-kind life-size version of the 100th statue will be displayed throughout SDCC along with the other 99 Batman Black & White figures from DC Collectibles.

Mondo Announces First of their SDCC 2019 Exclusives

To this day Roger Rabbit is still considered a landmark achievement in filmmaking, seamlessly combining 2D animation and live action, with a clever take on the interior lives of the world’s most beloved cartoon characters.

Following their previous successful collaboration with Robert Zemeckis on Back to the Future, Alan Silvestri’s score is one of his most ambitious, an inspired genre blend, bouncing from pot-boiling noir, to the madcap zaniness of a cartoon serial, to the songs and standards of the 1940’s.

BLADE RUNNER 2049 Soundtrack

Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch, alongside Producers Michael Hodges, Ashley Culp and Kayla Morrison, were given the near impossible task of scoring the sequel to one of the greatest and most beloved science fiction films of all time. The original Blade Runner had an incredible score by Vangelis that has gone on to be one of the most iconic pieces of music in film history, so it’s to their credit that they absolutely knock it out the park with 2049.

What they do with the music in 2049 is astonishing, you totally feel like you are in the same universe as the original film but you also realize that things have changed. There are hints at the past but also strange beautiful new sounds to explore and get lost in. This score is a little more downbeat than the original. It’s expansive, dreamy yet forceful and propulsive when it needs to be. The sonics throughout are incredible and it really feels like you are wandering strange neon lit alleyways with no clue where you are. It’s a truly beautiful (and beguiling) listen and captures real human emotion alongside more artificial replicant soundscapes.

Super7 Unveils Peanuts SDCC Collection

July 2, 2019 – Good Grief, is it ComicCon already?! Super7, makers of collectible toys and apparel, heads to the funny pages with the debut of its new Peanuts collection at SDCC. Known for taking well loved entertainment properties from the past and putting a new, modern spin on them, Super7 has done it again with the beloved comic strip Peanuts and focusing on the more stylized 1950’s characters from the launch of the strip.

Return to the good ol’ days of Peanuts at the exclusive Good Grief, a Super7 x Peanuts Gift Shop, showcased at the Super7 San Diego store.This once in a year/lifetime/Comic Con exclusive event will take place Friday through Sunday July 19-21, 2019, 11:00am-9:00pm (Fri-Sat) and11:00am-5:00pm (Sun) at 701 Eighth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101.

This collection’s signature piece, the Good Ol’ Charlie Brown 3.75” ReAction Figure showcases Charlie Brown as he appeared in the very first Peanuts newspaper strip from October 2nd, 1950. Standing by Good Ol’ Charlie Brown’s side will be a life-size 16” Snoopy vinyl figure featuring a teasing Snoopy, complete with a removable Charlie Brown Mask and fabric shirt, as he was seen in the Oct 23, 1953 strip. Six additional 3.75” ReAction figures join in on the fun, including Cowboy Charlie Brown, Racoon Hat Snoopy, PJ Sally, Baseball Schroeder, Pirate Linus and Winter Lucy.

“Growing up, Peanuts was my dad’s favorite, and from the time I could read he gave me his childhood Peanuts books, and the love of it is something we have shared ever since.
