Sony Pictures Television (SPT) returns to San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with an exciting lineup of panels, interactive activations, exclusive screenings, talent appearances, and giveaways. This year, SPT will once again host a vibrant booth on the convention floor (Booth #4745), spotlighting its fan-favorite series, including The Boys, Twisted Metal, Gen V, Outlander, For All Mankind, and more.

SONY PICTURES TELEVISION BOOTH (#4745): This year, the home of your favorite television shows, Sony Pictures Television, is making a spectacular return to the convention floor, bringing exclusive merch you won’t want to miss!

This year, FX is going big on Alien: Earth at San Diego Comic-Con. FX will host the series’ World Premiere in San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H and transform the Hilton Bayfront lawn into “The Wreckage,” a uniquely immersive experience which allows guests to step into the terrifying world of Alien: Earth.

FX’s ALIEN: EARTH “THE WRECKAGE” ACTIVATION:

StarRupture Playtest Announcement Trailer

Creepy Jar, the Polish studio behind the critically acclaimed survival simulator, Green Hell, is thrilled to announce the first closed playtest for their upcoming sci-fi survival title, StarRupture. Running from July 29th to July 31st, this single-player playtest offers the first exciting taste of StarRupture gameplay, and players can now apply for access via Steam. Selected players will receive Steam confirmation that they are eligible to play at of the playtest kickoff on July 29th.

Featuring exciting single-player content, the StarRupture playtest puts players firmly into the treacherous world of Arcadia-7. While StarRupture is a co-op game at heart, where up to four players work together, the developers also want to ensure that the game is exhilarating and engaging for those who play solo. This playtest introduces players to the core tenants of StarRupture, ranging from base building and exploration to survival and combat.

The StarRupture playtest features over three hours of gameplay split between an early slice of the game, a welcome tutorial, and a free play option. It’s not the full opening experience, as there are map and progression restrictions, but it’s a first taste of the fun that awaits in StarRupture. The Playtest supports English VO and interface localisation and the full list of supported languages for StarRupture’s launch in Early Access is available on the game’s Steam Page.

Horror Inc. Announces Jason Universe SDCC Panel and Giveaways

Horror, Inc. is celebrating the 45th anniversary of Friday the 13th at San Diego Comic-Con this year with a Friday evening panel packed with exclusive first looks, multiple standout giveaways, and never before heard insights from the original members of the family that started it all.

In addition to some of the untold history behind the first films and early years of the family legacy, the panel will preview what’s to come in the new era of Jason Universe, including a first look at the upcoming Sweet Revenge vignette helmed by writer/director Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn; December’s Silent Night, Deadly Night), and a panel-exclusive message from the set of Crystal Lake, the upcoming TV series from A24 and Peacock. In addition to Nelson, panelists include Horror, Inc. President Robert Barsamian, VP Robbie Barsamian, and CMO Sheri Conn, as well as Atomic Monster EVP of Film Judson Scott (M3GAN, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It).

It’s been 45 years since Jason first haunted our screens—and now, it’s time to return for a new era. Join Jason Universe and Horror, Inc. to celebrate the legacy, evolution, and future of one of horror’s most iconic franchises with Horror, Inc. president Robert Barsamian, VP Robbie Barsamian, and CMO Sheri Conn; Sweet Revenge writer/director Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn; Silent Night, Deadly Night); and Atomic Monster EVP of Film Judson Scott (M3GAN, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It). This can’t-miss panel moderated by Mondo senior creative director Peter Santa-Maria (a.k.a. AttackPeter) will dive deep into Jason’s blood-soaked history and what’s lurking ahead, with an inside look at the brand-new design of Jason and his infamous hockey mask, as well as an exclusive first look at the upcoming Jason Universe short form vignette Sweet Revenge.

The Jason Universe panel will also include a number of giveaways exclusively available for all fans who attend the panel:

  • A first look and fan giveaway of Spirit Halloween’s newest Jason mask, crafted in celebration of his 45th anniversary and his frightening new design
  • Exclusive 45th anniversary hats, only available by attending the panel
  • Also crafted exclusively for those attending the panel, a limited-edition 18″x12″ Mondo lithograph inspired by the upcoming Sweet Revenge vignette will be distributed. Designed by panel moderator and Mondo Senior Creative Director Peter Santa-Maria (a.k.a. AttackPeter)

Jason fans can also visit NECA’s SDCC booth (#3545) to view the unveiling of their new 7″ Scale – Ultimate Savini Jason action figure, which will be the first collectible based on the fan-favorite 2017 video game Friday the 13th: The Game.
