New Disney+ Originals Premiering This October For Hallowstream

Premiering October 1, “LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales” is a seasonal celebration of the villainous dark side of the Star Wars galaxy— just in time for Halloween. After the events of “The Rise of Skywalker,” Poe and BB-8 must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar where they meet the greedy and conniving Graballa the Hutt who has purchased Darth Vader’s castle and is renovating it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. While waiting for his X-Wing to be repaired, Poe, BB-8, Graballa, and Dean (a plucky and courageous young boy who works as Graballa’s mechanic) venture deep into the mysterious castle with Vader’s loyal servant, Vaneé. Along the way, Vaneé shares three creepy stories linked to ancient artifacts and iconic villains from across all eras of Star Wars. As Vaneé spins his tales and lures our heroes deeper into the shadowy underbelly of the castle, a sinister plan emerges. With the help of Dean, Poe and BB-8 will have to face their fears, stop an ancient evil from rising, and escape to make it back to their friends. Featuring a record-breaking 130 bone-chilling rooms, 10 inter-connected horror themed attractions, all indoors and covering 28,000 square feet of floor space in the single largest indoor haunted house in Southern California, Reign of Terror will open a record 17 nights, starting September 24, and running October 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, 31 November 5 and 6 at Janss Marketplace, located off the 101 Freeway, at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks. Reign of Terror hours are 7:00pm – 11:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00pm – 10:00pm Sunday and Thursday. On average, it takes 25 – 30 minutes or more to complete a walk-through of this massive haunted house.

An entirely new section, called “Un-Hallowed Ground”, premieres as Reign of Terror’s 10th haunted attraction. Visitors will encounter an order of Pagan Monks as they tend to sacrilegious scriptures in the dark corners of their twisted house of worship. Hungry vultures linger by, while unexpected appearances occur throughout the sinister sanctuary.

Reign of Terror’s incredible high level of detail, theming and overall fun will be evident again across all the changes made to existing attractions: Miner’s Revenge, Asylum, The Victorian Haunted Mansion, Inbred, Casa Blood, Infected, Quarantine and Fun House. Fan favorites, including “The White-Out Experience”, “Slime Bog”, and the “Vortex Tunnel” return, each creating uniquely disturbing, unusual sensory experiences.

In addition, due to popular demand returning this season, a “Lights OUT” special event, will run for one night only, on Saturday, November 6. Visitors to “Lights OUT” walk through all 130 rooms in total darkness, lit only by one small glow stick per group. It is highly recommended for visitors to come to Lights OUT as their bonus, end of season extra visit, only after visiting Reign of Terror’s regular production where all lighting and special effects run as usual. This will allow visitors of Lights OUT to truly appreciate and enjoy how different it is.

Reign of Terror succeeds in providing more than good scares and fun times, by giving back to the community. Because Janss Marketplace hosts the event in over 28,000 square feet of indoor space, the haunted house is able to donate proceeds from entrance fees to the Conejo Recreation and Parks District.

Each year, Janss Marketplace’s annual donation benefits the District’s Thousand Oaks Teen Center, Young Artists Ensemble programs, and the Conejo Theatre for Everyone, which gives special needs youth the opportunity to perform. HELLRAISER Comes to Dead by Daylight

Pinhead has come into the Fog, and Survivors must now taste his pleasures. He will tear them apart, but no tears, please! Along with today’s arrival of the eminent Killer comes the Hellraiser Collection, which allows players to embody the Chatterer, his disfigured and most avid servant.

“Pinhead has one of the most recognizable faces of all the horror classics. Even people who have never seen the movies know that uniquely intense look. So, as the Hall of Fame of Horror, we had to have him in our game”, shares Mathieu Côté, Game Director for Dead by Daylight. “Not only has our community been requesting him for a long time, but I have often mentioned that Pinhead is high on my personal list of favorite horror characters. We know that fans are as thrilled as we are to see him come into the Fog!”

There Are No Limits to His Power

As with all Killers in Dead by Daylight, Pinhead comes with a distinctive power, for the pleasure of the players. His power, the Summons of Pain, is an extradimensional gateway that summons a possessed chain which can be directed to Survivors to bind them. Once bound to a chain, Survivors are unable to sprint, and their movement speed is decreased.

Pinhead’s power also comes with an additional challenge for Survivors: the Lament Configuration puzzle box. When left alone, it initiates a Chain Hunt by summoning chains to pursue Survivors. If picked up, the Survivors carrying the box are automatically afflicted with the Oblivious status effect and chains will sporadically be summoned to attack them. Survivors must solve the Lament Configuration to end the Chain Hunt and remove the puzzle box from their possession. While doing this, Pinhead will see their location and be able to teleport to it.

The Chatterer Joins His Master with the Hellraiser Collection

Once summoned, Pinhead never comes alone. That’s why the Hellraiser Collection offers a Legendary Set allowing players to embody the Chatterer, his devoted servitor dedicated to exploring the limits of human sensations. The Chatterer’s face is severely disfigured, with lips peeled back to expose his teeth, which he clicks together to communicate. His Suit of Sufferance is made of a leather uniform displaying his rites of extreme scarification while his weapon of choice is the Dented Hook and Chain which he wields with violence and satisfaction. In addition to the Chatterer comes a Very Rare Outfit for Pinhead: The Hell Priest. This kit showcases Pinhead as he explores the further regions of experience.

Pinhead’s Chatterer Legendary Set is available now for 1,485 Auric Cells in the in-game store while the Hell Priest Very Rare Outfit is available for 720 Auric Cells.

Fans of bricks, blasters, and things that go “boo” or “boop-beep” in the night, get ready—Disney+ debuted the trailer for “LEGO® Star Wars Terrifying Tales,” the all-new scary special from Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group that will have fans ready for a frighteningly fun Halloween season. The special premieres October 1, exclusively on the streaming service.

The trailer features a first-look at the three tales that Darth Vader’s loyal servant Vaneé (Tony Hale) will spin in this frighteningly fun special: “The Lost Boy,” the story of how a young Ben Solo first meets Ren; “The Dueling Monstrosities,” which imagines how Darth Maul and General Grievous were reborn; and “The Wookiee’s Paw,” which gives a look at what might have happened if all of Luke Skywalker’s greatest wishes were immediately granted. The special is sure to leave fans with spine-tingling chills and goose-bricks.

After the events of “The Rise of Skywalker,” Poe and BB-8 must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar where they meet the greedy and conniving Graballa the Hutt who has purchased Darth Vader’s castle and is renovating it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. While waiting for his X-wing to be repaired, Poe, BB-8, Graballa, and Dean (a plucky and courageous young boy who works as Graballa’s mechanic) venture deep into the mysterious castle with Vader’s loyal servant, Vaneé. Along the way, Vaneé shares three creepy stories linked to ancient artifacts and iconic villains from across all eras of Star Wars.
