Crossout Mobile Available Now on iOS and Android

Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announce that the mobile vehicular action online game Crossout Mobile is available now on Android devices in North America, Europe, Middle East, and other territories. The iOS version will arrive on February 10th. First Crossout Mobile players are getting a set of bonus content for an easier start in the game.

The new Battle Pass season has also started in Crossout Mobile, focused on the car parts unique to the Founders faction. The rewards include sturdy structural parts derived from the heavy construction vehicles, and weapons like nail guns and lasers. All of those could be used to craft unique armored cars, ride them into battle and destroy enemies piece by piece! There is also a new special “Knives out” mode where players use melee weapons only and jump using the built-in jump pads without restrictions.

The new seasonal pack is now available for purchase in the in-game store giving access to a new deadly armored car “Rakshasa”. Its cabin is equipped with a built-in contact borer and can make a sharp dash forward. “Rakshasa” is equipped with the “Chameleon” invisibility module and the “Fortune” wheel launcher.

Crossout Mobile is available for free and will receive updates with new content on a regular basis.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Advanced Classes Trailer

Today, Frontier Foundry and Complex Games are delighted to share an exclusive first look at four advanced classes of Grey Knights players will take command of in Warhammer 40,000®: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. With Nurgle’s greatest gift to the galaxy, the Bloom, festering across the worlds of the Tyrtaeus sector, Strike Force Xiphos will require access to Grey Knights trained with unique skill sets. These advanced classes of Grey Knights have undergone specialist training at the Citadel of Titan to hone their powerful psychic and physical abilities in preparation for the most dangerous incursions of Chaos in the Materium.

Players will begin Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters with access to four classes of Grey Knights: the Justicar, Interceptor, Purgator and Apothecary. However, during the course of the campaign after gaining the favor of the Steward of the Armoury, they will be able to access an additional four advanced classes:

Paladin
The Paladin is an elite Terminator Armour-clad warrior, pulverizing and pounding enemies with powerful combat-focused abilities.
Paladín

Chaplain
The Chaplain buffs and emboldens his allies with prayers and litanies, whilst sanctifying and cleansing them from Nurgle’s debilitating ailments.

Librarian
As a veteran psyker, the Librarian banishes and bursts Daemonkind from the inside out using devastating psychic attacks.

Purifier
The Purifier incinerates any foe who gets too close, while also removing enemy mutations or afflictions.

Once unlocked during the campaign, units with these class specializations will be added to the additional unit rotation, obtainable via requisitions following a mission. Each class features a unique set of upgrades, with 36 possible abilities to unlock – some active, and some passive. Players must use a limited number of skill points per Grey Knight to define their specializations during a campaign.

The legendary strategy franchise is back, combining heart-pounding combat with new layers of strategy in a breathtaking Mediterranean setting. Company of Heroes 3™ is coming to PC in 2022, bringing the series’ intimate boots-on-the-ground storytelling to a brand-new theatre of war. In Company of Heroes 3, players can experience authentic new features such as the Dynamic Campaign Map and Full Tactical Pause to fight their way to victory. In a brand-new video, Relic Entertainment developers explain how Campaign gameplay in Company of Heroes 3 is taking a big leap forward, with a strong focus on replayability.

The new Dynamic Campaign Map offers ‘sandbox-style’ gameplay, allowing players to command the overall war effort and experience a unique level of strategic choice. Mission Designer David Milne explains in the video that Relic designed the missions in a way that it challenges players, but that a mission can always be completed – no matter which factions, companies, or units they’ve selected. Achilles: Legends Untold Story Trailer and Open Beta

After giving the Achilles: Legends Untold community early access to the beta through the official Discord, Dark Point Games has decided to open the beta up to all players.

“We wanted to make sure our earliest fans got their hands on first and their feedback has been immensely valuable, for both shaping up the beta and the future of the game.” said Paweł Waszak, CEO and Lead Game Designer.

However, due to popular demand the team has decided to open up the beta for all fans as of today.

During the beta, players can relive the battle at the gates of Troy, facing legendary warriors like Hektor, Paris and a slew of mythological menaces. While, according to the Iliad, Achilles was at the peak of his unquenchable desire for fame, this battle is only the opening chapter of his untold legends.

The combat in Achilles: Legends Untold brings a unique isometric approach to traditional Souls-like gameplay. Learning enemy movements and timing your attacks will be key, while Dark Point Games also added devastating special abilities like the shield toss to overwhelm enemies with Achilles’ raw power. This way, Achilles: Legends Untold may be enjoyed by souls veterans and new players alike

Skater XL – Oshawa Arena Trailer and Online Esports Event Announced

Easy Day Studios announced today the first Skater XL online esports skateboarding event – The FakeSkate Open Live Contest – taking place this Saturday, February 5. Eight of the best “fake skaters” from each console platform around the world will go head-to-head live online for cash prizes and internet fame. A new Skater XL map update, ‘Oshawa Arena,’ is now available to download via Mod Browser for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will be the featured skatepark map this weekend for The FakeSkate Open Live Contest.

Joseph: Collapse, the third and final major DLC coming to Far Cry 6 as part of the Season Pass, will be available on February 8 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be available starting today on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. After 7 years of production, Techland has released their latest title and most ambitious game to-date focused on parkour and combat mechanics—an expansive game filled with open-world activities, the electrifying colors of the Modern Dark Ages era, resonant choices to be made, and an alternating day-night system.

In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, players will be able to shape the future of The City with their actions and watch how it changes. Determine the balance of power with your choices amid the growing conflict and forge your own experience. In this game, you can be both brutal and creative in your combat. You must rely on your parkour and fighting abilities to survive, supported by over two hundred weapons, more than twenty inventive weapon mods, and dozens of power moves. Those looking for the best equipment should wait until night to venture out into the dark hideouts of the Infected. Sunlight keeps them at bay, but once it’s gone, these monsters leave their lairs, leaving the player free to explore and begin the hunt.

Players should know Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s core gameplay mechanic of parkour was supported by the father of parkour himself, David Belle. He not only models and provides motion capture for one of the main characters in the game, Hakon, but he also helped Techland create parkour moves that look and feel real.

But David Belle is not the only big star here! American movie star Rosario Dawson, also known for her role as Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, has been cast as one of the game’s main characters: the rebellious and independant Lawan. Moreover, the main protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, is voiced by Jonah Scott, an influencer, streamer, and voice actor celebrated for his work in multiple games and anime series.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Unveils Seven New Theaters

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema continues to expand with the announcement of seven new theaters and three new regions, including Chicago, Birmingham, and St. Louis. This expansion follows a record-breaking 2021 box office that brought the second-highest domestic opening of all time, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, and which also saw massive Alamo Drafthouse results for films like LICORICE PIZZA, THE FRENCH DISPATCH, and THE GREEN KNIGHT.

These new theaters will join nearly 40 other Alamo Drafthouse locations in exhibiting the company’s diverse mix of blockbusters, indies, documentaries, foreign language films, repertory classics, and unique special events.

“We’re so thankful for the continued strength and recovery of the theater industry thanks to a packed slate of titles in 2022,” says Alamo Drafthouse CEO Shelli Taylor. “And we’re very eager to bring the unique Alamo Drafthouse experience to Chicago, St. Louis, Birmingham, and beyond.”

The months ahead are expected to continue the cinema industry’s rebound from 2020 closures, bringing long-anticipated blockbusters like THE BATMAN, DOCTOR STRANGE AND THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, and TOP GUN: MAVERICK. The new theaters will also continue Alamo Drafthouse’s commitment to preserving 35mm film, with St. Louis and Staten Island confirmed to offer the celebrated celluloid projection.

The company will also expand the “The Big Show” experience, their next-generation Premium Large Format theaters with a towering 66’ wide by 28’ tall curved screen with immersive Dolby Atmos audio technology. All of the new locations will be paired with separate full-service bars featuring craft cocktails, wine, and local craft beers on tap.

Staten Island, NY

Alamo Drafthouse continues to expand their footprint in NYC with the highly-anticipated Alamo Drafthouse Staten Island. This kung-fu-themed theater will feature 9 screens, 893 fully-reclining seats, 35mm projection, and the company’s acclaimed menu of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and full bar available for delivery to guests’ seats.

The new theater will also feature The Flying Guillotine bar, a collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA. Similar to The House of Wax and The Press Room bars at their other NYC locations, The Flying Guillotine will be a celebration of a unique piece of cinema history, in this case, the history of martial arts films. In addition to the requisite beer, wine and craft cocktail program, The Flying Guillotine decor will draw inspiration from the pages of the recent Mondo Publishing release THESE FISTS BREAK BRICKS by Grady Hendrix and Chris Pogalli and feature numerous displays of martial arts memorabilia and posters. The bar will also feature an all-martial arts free-rental video store.

Alamo Drafthouse Staten Island is slated to open Spring 2022.

Chicago, IL

The company is also opening their first theater in Chicago with Alamo Drafthouse Wrigleyville. Opening in the Windy City has been a long-time goal for Alamo Drafthouse, and this new theater marks an important milestone for the company. The 6-screen theater will be located in the historic Wrigleyville neighborhood, directly across the street from the beloved Wrigley Field in the Addison And Clark development.

The company will be bringing its unique brand of cinema eateries to Chicago Fall 2022. The new 9-screen theater will be located in the Crystal City neighborhood of National Landing in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to open Fall 2022. St. Louis, MO

The Gateway City will be joining the Alamo Drafthouse family with a 10-screen theater located at the City Foundry STL development in St. Louis’ Midtown district. The new Alamo Drafthouse St. Louis will be a collaboration with franchise partner St. Louis Alamo Movies, LLC and is expected to open Fall 2022.

Glendale, CO

With all three of the company’s other Denver-area theaters now reopened, Alamo Drafthouse is excited to announce a new Glendale, CO, location in the Glendale Entertainment District. The new 9-screen theater will be opening in collaboration with franchise partners Alamo GlenCo Theater, LLC near the end of 2023.

Grand Prairie, TX

Alamo Drafthouse has a new Grand Prairie, TX, location joining their six other DFW metroplex theaters. Alamo Drafthouse Grand Prairie will be a 10-screen theater from franchise partner Alamo Grand Prairie Bardin, LLC, with a planned opening in the beginning of 2024.

Birmingham, AL

Alamo Drafthouse is also headed to the Magic City with their first theater in Birmingham. The 9-screen Alamo Drafthouse Birmingham broke ground at the historic Powell Avenue Steam Plant in the city’s Parkside District on February 3rd, and is being brought to the new region by franchise partners Birmingham Alamo Movies, LLC.
