Farming Simulator 22 Gets Göweil Pack on March 21st

The first content pack of Farming Simulator 22’s sophomore year makes baling and wrapping an even more extensive hay-day of fun: Coming March 21st for PC and consoles, publisher and developer GIANTS Software just announced the Göweil Pack to introduce nine new agricultural machines and tools to extend a core farm activity.

New Machines & Possibilities with Göweil
Austrian manufacturer Göweil has an international reputation for producing high-quality, durable, and innovative machinery – especially baling and wrapping technology. With their debut in the Farming Simulator series, a broad selection of machines and tools adds new possibilities for virtual farmers with a knack for baling.

Players are now able to transform even more resources into bales: Corn silage, sugar beet pulp, mixed feed, and more can be baled and wrapped with high-tech machines like the Göweil LT-Master F115 or VARIOMaster V140. A small but substantial detail for baling enthusiasts: Net-binding in addition to foil-wrapping will be possible.

Enhanced Quality-of-Bale-Farming
Operations dependent on baled resources can also extend their farm by deploying stationary and autonomous baler-wrappers like the G4010 Q Profi to achieve a high output of bales in variable shapes & sizes. Roller wrappers like the Göweil G1015 attach to front loaders or three-point hitches and transport, wrap, and stack bales – with one single, efficient machine.

Good news for clumsy farmers frequently chasing their bales: Thanks to the addition of a bale turner, the days of round bales rolling downhill are numbered. It’s easier to put them into storage, too – thanks to new bale grippers and bale forks like the Göweil RBG and BTGQU. Even the quality of bales rises with optional silage additive tanks for baler wrapper combinations like the Göweil G-1 F125 Kombi. Further included: the fixed chamber baler G-1 F125 and the trailed round bale wrapper G5020 to round the selection off and wrap it up!

With the Göweil Pack, GIANTS Software releases the first of many official updates in 2023. Even more content will be added free of charge, and the official in-game ModHub will continue to grow with developer-tested user creations.

Synapse Films Bringing Phenomena to UHD in 4K with Dolby Vision

On March 14th, Synapse Films unleashes Phenomena on UHD, including all three versions of the film newly restored in 4K with Dolby Vision.

Jennifer Corvino (Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly) is sent to a Swiss boarding school by her famous actor father. The sleepwalking teen – who also is a telekinetic with the power to commune with bugs – embroils herself in a series of vicious murders. Jennifer begins to unravel the mystery of the killings with the help of an entomologist, Dr. McGregor (Donald Pleasence) and his chimpanzee Inga. The soundtrack features music from Goblin, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Andi Sex Gang, Bill Wyman and Simon Boswell. Phenomena is Dario Argento at his very hypnotic and nightmarish best.

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios are in equal measures absolutely thrilled and totally relieved to confirm today that the long-anticipated next entry in their world-renowned zombie slaying saga, Dead Island 2, has GONE GOLD. As a celebration, the two companies have also decided to shorten the wait for fans and release the game one week earlier than previously announced. The zombie slaying will now commence on Friday, April 21. Pinky swear.

The groundbreaking Dead Island franchise first hit the scene in 2011 with one of the most viewed video game trailers of all time. In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Spooky Swap Meet Tickets Available Now!

Coinciding with the six month countdown to Halloween aka “Half-o-ween”, Spooky Swap Meet returns to the hauntingly beautiful Heritage Square Museum for a macabre, curated shopping experience, including, new for this year, a walk-thru haunted attraction! Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, 2023, from 10am-7pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

Sixty plus vendors will have selections of gothic furnishings, Halloween inspired decor, apparel, props, and more. Fortune telling and food will also be available for purchase.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to trick-or-treat at the seven stops of Heritage Square’s manors whose exteriors have been decorated and “spooked up” for the weekend by “house hosts” including AdamJessFx, Art’s Sideshow, a Bones’ Gulch and Samhain’s Lot collaboration, A Mr. He Slasher, LA Haunted Hayride, and Vamp & The Fiends. The extra-daring can also walk-thru an original haunted attraction created especially for Spooky Swap Meet by Fear Farm. For those that like to boogie, LVCRFT and Skeleton Sam will host a Halloween dance party at the top of each hour.
