Preview of the 2023 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival

Recently, we were able to attend a special preview event for the upcoming Boysenberry Festival at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. It was a cold, cloudy evening just a day after the recent Winter storm which saw snow fall upon the park. While the snow had quickly melted, there were plenty of special treats remaining to try out at the event. Our walk through Ghost Town was eerie without any guests in the area, and the light all dim it whispered echoes of Scary Farm’s past. We found the check-in table inside the Town Hall building and got our event lanyards.

Upon walking into the Wilderness Dance Hall, a venue that has been home to countless Knott’s Scary Farm mazes, special events, and more we were treated to a grand table filled with examples of the delectable treats to be found at the Boysenberry Festival. Unfortunately, we couldn’t eat all of it, but that will come soon enough when the event starts on March 10th. We did get a sampling of various food and drink options, which we definitely enjoyed! Our standout favorites were the Boysenberry Margarita and the Sausage with Boysenberry Mustard. These were delightful snacks that I would definitely purchase again when visiting the park. The beef tips with boysenberry BBQ sauce and parmesan grits were outstanding as well, and I could have eaten three more plates of them and still craved more. The only item we didn’t really enjoy was the fried corn nuggets – they just didn’t land for us due in part to the texture of the fried batter and the still-firm corn kernels within. The food table was brimming with treats and there were so many that we didn’t get to sample but can’t wait to do so once the event starts. For me, it’s definitely the Boysenberry Float and the Pancake Burger. They look amazing, I just hope the lines won’t be too backed up waiting for them.

We also got a chance to look at the various merchandise products that are being released for the Boysenberry Festival. The big showpiece of the merchandise table is the new bubble wand that the park is releasing. Adorned with a light-up boysenberry, the wand throws out bubbles at an alarming rate. These are sure to be the joy of the young kids in your party during your visit. As for the adults in the park, prepare yourself for bubblegeddon! Also of interest were the Boysenberry Festival umbrella as well as light-up boysenberry necklace. We have a large collection of light-up Halloween and Christmas necklaces and we can’t wait to add a set of these to the mix. The boysenberry lights were vibrant even in the lit Wilderness Dance Hall, and think they will be almost as popular as the bubble wand will be.

Overall, the Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival Preview Event was a fun time filled with delightful treats and sneak peeks. The full Boysenberry Festival event begins on March 10th, 2023 and runs until April 16th, 2023. Expect a full report from the opening day of the event soon enough! DJI Ronin 4D Flex Professional Cinema Camera System

Flexibility for Teams of Any Size

Ronin 4D Flex provides creators with a more flexible and efficient camera movement system and a unique creative experience. Solo operators can separate the X9 gimbal camera from the main body, reducing the handheld weight of Ronin 4D to just 1.8kg, letting them shoot for long durations more easily in mobile situations like events and documentaries. 4D Flex also makes the X9 gimbal camera compatible with a variety of rigs and let professional crews shoot footage that was previously extremely difficult or even impossible, such as cinema-quality through-shots and dynamic camera interiors.

Real-Time Control

Connecting Ronin 4D Flex to the main body is a 2m ultra-thin coaxial cable, supporting lossless transmission of up to 8K. This allows high-speed signals from the camera sensor to reach the main body instantly, and also control and monitoring signals to be delivered in real-time. This solid cable connection lends 4D Flex unprecedented flexibility of camera positions, no matter how limited the space. It also allows the Zenmuse X9 gimbal camera to be used as an ultra-small cinematic-grade remote head.

DJI’s First Cinema Zoom Lens

The DL PZ 17-28mm T3.0 Lens arrives as DJI’s first-ever cinema-grade zoom lens. WWE 2K23 MyGM Mode Reveal

In partnership with 2K, Xavier Woods and Tyler Breeze – hosts of WWE’s popular UpUpDownDown YouTube channel – revealed all the new features coming to MyGM mode in WWE® 2K23, in a new episode out now. MyGM immerses players in the role of a WWE General Manager, allowing them to draft a roster, manage budgets, sign free agents, choose various match types, arena locations, production elements and more, with the goal of beating a rival GM in weekly ratings battles.

MyGM has expanded significantly in WWE 2K23, with several new and upgraded features. New playable GMs include Woods and Breeze themselves, as well as Eric Bischoff, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley, and new brands to manage include NXT 2.0 and WCW. New match types and stipulations, including Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Steel Cage, Backstage Brawl, Falls Count Anywhere, Submission, Iron Man, Last Man Standing, and Tornado Tag are also available.

MyGM now allows up to four players to join the action locally, and new Seasons and Seasonal Challenges offer tremendous replay value. VR Horror Title Fractured Sanity to Terrify on March 28th

Brazilian studio, United Games, reveals the release date for their immersive VR game – Fractured Sanity. Designed to be a short but terrifying experience, the survival horror game will launch on Steam and Oculus App Lab this March 28th.

You embark on an intense and heart-wrenching experience to discover what really happened to you and the staff that has been missing. Dead by Daylight Tools Of Torment Out Now

With its latest Chapter, Tools Of Torment, Dead by Daylight returns to contemporary times to explore the modern technology horror paradigm. The newest Killer to step into the Fog is The Skull Merchant. The latest DLC also presents siblings Thalita and Renato Lyra, community-driven Survivors of Brazilian lineage. Along with the highly anticipated original Chapter comes a wide array of new Cosmetics, including Very Rare outfits for The Skull Merchant, Thalita and Renato, as well as two new Collections coming later this Spring.

Catch and Slash

The Skull Merchant is an apex hunter who uses macabre technology to spin a web of surveillance. Thanks to her Drones – hand-crafted using the remains of her victims, no less – she has a constant source of information at her disposal.

Since The Skull Merchant established her hunting base in Shelter Woods, players will, from now on, encounter the map with her luxurious but gruesome amenities. This new concept of adding a tile into an existing map, changing its layout permanently, is an additional innovative feature brought on by Tools Of Torment.

Better Together

Growing up, siblings Thalita and Renato would bicker a lot and used their shared passion for kite fighting to settle their petty squabbles. From there, both developed a special bond, from which their Survivor perks stem from. These Teamwork Perks are geared towards collaboration and activate as long as Thalita or Renato remain in proximity with another Survivor. After healing a Survivor, Thalita’s Teamwork: Power of Two generates a movement speed boost for the healed Survivor and herself. After being healed by a fellow Survivor, Renato’s Teamwork: Collective Stealth hides both sets of Scratch Marks, provided the two players stay close together.

Slaying Season

The Skull Merchant and the Siblings are the star of a new Collection of Exclusive Outfits to celebrate the Chapter’s release. Fans can get their hands on a Very Rare Cosmetic aptly named Encroaching Darkness for The Skull Merchant, from the Sonhadores Sombrios Collection and inspired by the dark and horrifying manga created by her late father. Thalita and Renato can be adorned in their Very Rare Outfits from the Family Album Collection. Thalita wears the Sibling’s Connection Cosmetic, consisting of a tropical two-piece swimsuit while Renato’s Sibling’s Trust Cosmetic is composed of a kite surfing short with a print reminiscent of sea waves.

Players will be able to enjoy two more exciting Collections in the upcoming weeks: starting March 22, several Survivors and Killer will receive new, flashy, fashionable, but equally practical Techwear Cosmetics. Starting in early April, fans will be able to dress their Killers and Survivors in a Collection straight out of Wonderland (yes, yes!).

NACON is pleased to release a teaser trailer for NACON Connect, which will take place on 9 March on its official YouTube channel. About fifteen games will be showcased in this new edition, including highly anticipated titles like The Lord of the Rings: GollumTM, Gangs of Sherwood, RoboCop, and many more!
