The Midnight Walkers – Official Cinematic Trailer

Players, get your sledgehammers ready! Oneway Ticket Studio is excited to announce that hardcore zombie FPS The Midnight Walkers will launch on PC in Steam Early Access on 21 November.

The Midnight Walkers sees players exploring the many floors of the Liberty Grand Center mega complex, fighting off not just zombies, but their fellow players, in brutal PvPvE action for either solos or trios. The aim is to gather as much valuable loot as possible and escape safely, but danger and death lurk around every corner. Even the weakest zombies in The Midnight Walkers are deadly if you find yourself surrounded, and other survivors pose an even greater threat.

As each game progresses, poison gas spreads throughout the complex, forcing players to flee to new floors via stairwells or elevators, and pushing opposing players into an ever-shrinking safe space. The more enemies nearby, the harder it is to safely extract. Luckily, players are well equipped to face the dangers of the Liberty Grand Center, with four playable classes to pick from depending on your playstyle, and a variety of melee and ranged weapons to discover.

For players who can’t wait until November to get their hands on the game, The Midnight Walkers will also have a free demo available during Steam Next Fest from 13 – 20 October.

The Midnight Walkers Features:

  • Explore a mega-complex overrun by extremely dangerous zombies – Liberty Grand Center has everything you’ll need, including a Shopping Mall, Hospital, Casino, and, of course, fatal poison gas. Tasty.
  • Gear up with your custom slayer’s arsenal – A variety of melee and ranged weapons includes Katanas, Sledgehammers, Shotguns, Bows, and more.
  • Four distinct playable classes – Slow but steady Brick, nimble assassin Crow, long-range sniper Lockdown, and drink-mixing supporter Bartender give players plenty of options.
  • Encounter deadly zombies, mutated variants, and lethal bosses – From slow-moving Walkers and Crawlers, to mutated Acid-Spitters and Smashers, there’s so many gruesome ways to die.

The Midnight Walkers launches on PC in Steam Early Access on 21 November 2025.

Capcom Unleashes New Trailers and Updates in Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast

Today, Capcom kicked off Tokyo Game Show 2025 with a special online program featuring new trailers and updates for Onimusha: Way of the Sword™, PRAGMATA™, Monster Hunter Stories™ 3: Twisted Reflection, Mega Man Star Force™ Legacy Collection, Monster Hunter Wilds™ Title Update 3, C. Viper in Street Fighter™ 6, Phoenix Wright™: Ace Attorney™ Trilogy, and more.

New Onimusha: Way of the Sword Trailer Sets the Stage for Musashi’s Story
Today’s broadcast debuted a new story trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword revealing the supernatural events that set the dark fantasy adventure into motion. The sneak peek also introduces new characters who play key roles in the swordplay action game’s narrative.

After protagonist Miyamoto Musashi’s arrival in Kyoto, the samurai is ambushed by the demonic Genma. On the verge of death, Musashi is “gifted” an Oni Gauntlet granting him the power to stand against these monstrosities from the underworld. However, as a warrior who wishes to carve a path by his own hand, he seeks to sever his link with this mystical artifact.

During Musashi’s journey, he encounters Izumo no Okuni and Ono no Takamura, newfound friends who are also based on real figures from Japanese history. Guided by the voice of the mysterious Oni woman within his gauntlet, Musashi is led to Takamura, a venerable swordsman with a gauntlet of his own. He also crosses paths with Okuni, a famous performer known for her iconic Kabuki dance, who has departed the stage in search of a way to defeat the Genma.

The latest footage also contains flashes of gameplay where Musashi faces enemies in the streets of Kyoto, including Togemaru, a serpentine Genma with spikes running down its spine that whirls into the fray with great speed to eviscerate its unfortunate targets. Though Musashi is reluctant to embrace his Oni Gauntlet, he must harness its power to slay such formidable foes.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword lands in 2026 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

PRAGMATA Gameplay Trailer Explores New Locales and Strategic Combat
The show also featured a new PRAGMATA gameplay trailer showcasing the sci-fi action game’s unique combat and expanded strategic options with new weapons, upgrades, and more.

Watch the trailer here on YouTube:

The footage featured glimpses of a new location as well as the Shelter. This refuge is where players can print (unlock) and upgrade weapons and Hack Nodes, including the previously unseen Charge Piercer and Decoy Generator, which offer unique ways for Hugh to overcome rampaging bots. The trailer also provided the first look at a new type of Hack Node, the Multi-Hack, which Diana can use to open up the armor of multiple enemies with a single Hack. This consumable item is a valuable asset that can turn the tide of battle in an instant, so use them wisely! The key to defeating powerful enemies lies in combining various weapons and Hack Nodes, which have distinct characteristics.

Outside of combat, Hugh and Diana will explore the lunar station. From the Shelter, they can ride the Tram, which can take them to any Escape Hatches they have previously unlocked. These Escape Hatches also double as valuable checkpoints in their journey to return to Earth.

PRAGMATA launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2026.

Fallout the Roleplaying Game: Royal Flush Available for Pre-Order

Publisher of tabletop roleplaying games, wargames and board games, Modiphius Entertainment has today launched the pre-order for its eagerly awaited quest book for Fallout the Roleplaying Game: Royal Flush.

Available to pre-order from today, Wednesday 24th SeptemberRoyal Flush takes players back to New Vegas and the Mojave Wasteland, where they will discover a plot to bring war back to the West.

The Mojave isn’t just a desert—it’s a blasted frontier of dust, danger, and stubborn survivors clinging to the bones of the Old World. Out here, every crumbling highway hides secrets, every settlement fights to keep raiders at bay, and every sunrise promises another struggle to survive until nightfall. Small settlements don’t last long, but the fortified towns and cities have weathered the dust storms and wars in relative safety behind their walls… though what festers inside their gates can be just as deadly. The Great War may be history, but the Mojave has never stopped being a battlefield.

Royal Flush is a road trip down to the Sierras and the Mojave, amid the turmoil engulfing the NCR in the run-up to the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. Against the looming threat of war, the Player Characters stumble into a plot to escalate regional tensions and become embroiled in conflicts between gangs and settlements. They have the chance to visit the famous New Reno – a location originally in Fallout 2 – and New Vegas, where season 2 of the Fallout TV show will be set.

Within the 240-page, full-colour, hardcover Royal Flush quest book players will find:

  • A main quest line and side quests to stop an accelerationist plot that seeks to plunge the Wasteland into a brand-new war, taking players from level 1 to 21.
  • A host of new NPCs and three new character origins: Enclave Remnant, Follower of the Apocalypse, and Viper Initiate.
  • New rules for harsh desert environments, gambling, encounter generation, vehicles, and more!

This book requires the core rules found in the Fallout: The Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Update 1.6 Is Out Now

GSC Game World is pleased to announce the Night of the Hunter update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is out now, featuring myriad of the updates, including new night vision devices, laser pointers, a new anomaly, and more.

New feature: NVG Offset Aiming

  • While using the NVG, offset aiming allows stalkers to tilt their weapon for improved handling in close-quarters combat, while skilled marksmen can leverage this feature for precision at longer ranges. This tactical advantage redefines combat dynamics in the Zone’s unforgiving terrain.
  • Additionally, a new high-powered laser pointer is now available, designed to overcome the limitations of low-powered lasers when used with NVGs. This upgrade ensures sharper aim in low-light conditions, but stalkers will need to part with a significant number of coupons to acquire it.
  • Adapt, aim, and dominate.

New Anomaly: Fireball

  • The Zone continues to shift and surprise, as the scientists report the emergence of a new anomaly within the perimeter walls, designated as Fireball. While detailed findings remain classified, initial reports from the research teams confirm that this anomaly burns with intense heat, posing a significant hazard to all stalkers.

Other Enhancements

Update 1.6 levels up the player experience with:

  • Customizable stick input curves.
  • Local save backup restoration feature.
  • Revised loot in stashes.
  • General technical improvements.

DJI Launches Osmo Nano

*Note the Nano is not available in the US just yet – here is DJI’s official statement on US availability: The Osmo Nano will not be available officially in the U.S. market on official websites upon its global launch on September 23. DJI remains committed to the U.S. market and is optimizing our strategy to best serve our customers amidst evolving local conditions.

DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today launches the Osmo Nano. This lightweight, wearable action camera can be mounted anywhere – from hats and helmets to pet collars – with a dual-sided magnetic design. It is also equipped with a next-gen 1/1.3-inch sensor and a high-performance image processor, offering up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range. Together, the Osmo Nano empowers creators to capture creative, hands-free visuals that are on par with professional cameras.

Effortlessly Wearable – Anywhere You Go

With its ultra-compact design, easy magnetic mounting, and versatile accessory options, Osmo Nano can be mounted anywhere. The smallest of DJI’s action cameras, the Osmo Nano camera weighs just 52g and measures approximately 57mm×29mm×28mm. Offering attachments for headbands, helmets, lanyards, hats, and more, creators can bring the Osmo Nano with them to capture content wherever they go. For water sports and outdoor adventures, the Osmo Nano camera is waterproof up to 10 meters without any additional housing, and, when paired with the Multifunctional Vision Dock, it offers IPX4-rated splash resistance, protecting against sweat, rain, and minor splashes. Shots can also be controlled remotely with the built-in OLED HD touchscreen on the Multifunctional Vision Dock. The perspectives are endless, providing another dimension of creativity and versatility to any video captured.

Image Quality Beyond Imagination

The 1/1.3-inch sensor delivers the best image quality possible for compact action cameras, and the high-performance image processor offers a superior dynamic range of 13.5 stops1 to ensure impressive low-light performance. Osmo Nano captures every scene in crisp detail, with up to 4K/60fps video2 and 4K/120fps slow motion. Osmo Nano’s 143° ultra-wide field of view fits more into every frame, so no part of the moment is ever cropped out. Osmo Nano is the only wearable camera of this size to offer 10-bit and D-Log M color performance. The 10-bit video allows the capture of up to one billion colors and 72% more color space than 8-bit standard video, providing stunning visuals not previously possible with compact action cameras. Meanwhile, the D-Log M mode preserves color and brightness information, offering greater flexibility for post-production and creative editing. In low light conditions, Osmo Nano’s SuperNight mode3 enhances image quality with noise reduction algorithms. For image stabilization, HorizonBalancing maintains the horizon level, correcting tilts within a ±30° range, and RockSteady 3.0 reduces camera shake.

Versatile Dock Supports Remote Control, Battery Charging, and File Transfer

Osmo Nano’s Multifunctional Vision Dock acts as a display screen, a remote photo trigger, a charging station, and a high-speed file transfer station. The magnetic design allows the camera to be mounted to the dock in any direction, making it easy to switch between selfies and portraits. The dock can fast charge the main camera up to 80% battery level in only 20 minutes1. When docked and fully-charged, the camera can record up to 200 minutes of 1080p/24fps video, and the new Endurance mode allows for the recording of up to 60 minutes of 4K/30fps (16:9) video. The Multifunctional Vision Dock features a built-in microSD card slot. It can also connect mobile devices or computers using a PD fast-charging cable for transfers up to 600 MB/s4.

Various Audio Options for Premium Sound

Osmo Nano features dual built-in microphones for stereo recording, delivering clear, vivid audio for an immersive first-person audiovisual experience. OsmoAudio™ Direct Microphone Connection allows users to capture studio-quality sound by connecting the Osmo Nano directly to two DJI microphone transmitters without a receiver5.

Creative Freedom with Flexible Shooting Modes

Feeling the Heat: Is Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Worth Playing?

As a man who finds a strange sort of Zen in the digital grind of games like Gas Station Simulator and Construction Simulator, I’ve learned that the “simulator” genre is a bit like a box of chocolates: you never know what you’re going to get. Some are surprisingly deep and rewarding, while others are cheap, buggy cash-grabs. So, when I heard that the team behind the excellent Construction Simulator series was tackling firefighting with a brand-new, Unreal Engine 5-powered game, my interest was definitely piqued. I’m happy to report that Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is one of the good ones, a genuinely satisfying and often thrilling experience, though it’s not without a few smoldering embers of frustration.

The game immediately sets a professional tone. You start by creating your firefighter from a few basic options and then you’re introduced to your new home: a fully explorable fire station. This isn’t just a fancy menu. It’s a hub where you can walk around, check out the impressive fleet of officially licensed Rosenbauer fire trucks, and even hit the training yard to practice with your tools. For a sim fan like me, this kind of immersion is key. When the alarm bell finally rings for your first call, there’s a genuine rush as you slide down the pole and race to your engine. Driving the truck through the city streets, sirens wailing, is a simple pleasure that never gets old, even if the civilian traffic doesn’t always seem to grasp the urgency of the situation.

Once you arrive on scene, the real work begins, and this is where Ignite truly excels. This is far more than a simple game of pointing a hose at orange pixels. The fire feels like a living, breathing entity; it’s visually stunning and absolutely terrifying as it spreads realistically across different materials, spewing thick, vision-obscuring smoke. Each mission is a tactical puzzle. You have to assess the situation, identify the type of blaze, and use the right tools for the job. Trying to douse a grease fire with water will only make things worse, forcing you to switch to foam deployed from your truck. Electrical fires require you to find the breaker box or rely on a portable extinguisher. It’s this layer of strategy that elevates the experience. You’ll be using axes and Halligan bars to force open doors, rescuing unconscious civilians, and sawing holes in roofs for vertical ventilation, all while the building groans and collapses around you. The gameplay loop is methodical and engaging, providing that perfect sense of accomplishment when you finally bring a raging inferno under control.

However, the experience changes dramatically depending on how you play. The game is clearly designed with four-player cooperative multiplayer in mind, and this is where it is an absolute triumph. Coordinating with three friends, calling out hazards, and dividing tasks to rescue victims and attack the flames from multiple angles is an incredibly tense and rewarding test of teamwork. It’s chaotic, exciting, and immensely fun.

Unfortunately, the single-player experience is a different story. When playing alone, you are accompanied by three AI-controlled teammates to whom you can issue commands. To put it bluntly, your AI crew is not the sharpest tool in the shed. They frequently get stuck on objects, stand around doing nothing, and require constant micromanagement to perform even the simplest tasks. This transforms the satisfying tactical challenge into a frustrating exercise in babysitting. It’s a significant blemish on an otherwise excellent game and makes playing solo a much less appealing prospect.

Like many of its simulator brethren, the game also has its share of “jank.” Character animations can be stiff and a bit goofy, and you’ll notice some minor graphical glitches and bugs from time to time. For a veteran of the genre, these rough edges are almost part of the charm and don’t detract from the solid core mechanics, but they do prevent the game from feeling completely polished.

Ultimately, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is a fantastic addition to the profession simulator library. It delivers a deep, authentic, and visually spectacular firefighting experience that is second to none, especially when played with friends. The core gameplay of tackling a blaze is so well-executed that it largely overcomes the game’s flaws. While the unreliable AI makes the solo journey a tougher recommendation, the sheer joy of the cooperative mode makes this a must-play for any fan of the genre. It successfully captures the danger, strategy, and heroism of the profession, creating a simulation that is both challenging and deeply satisfying.
