Hogwarts Legacy Unveils PC Modding Support Starting Friday

Warner Bros. Games today announced that for the first time, it will officially support PC modding with the critically acclaimed open-world action RPG Hogwarts Legacy. Beginning Jan. 30, Steam and Epic Games Store players can download the latest patch to easily access and download available mods directly from the main menu in the game, and those who want to create their own mods can do so with the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit available for free on the Epic Games Store.

CurseForge, one of the world’s largest repository of mods and addons for video games, will be hosting and moderating the Hogwarts Legacy mods. The Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit will support modding new quests, dungeons, and character enhancements such as cosmetics and skins. The mods can then be submitted through the CurseForge platform to be published in the game.

Providing details on the integrated modding system, Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche Software conjured up a new video that discusses what players can expect and showcases some of the studio’s favorite mods that will be available when the feature launches next month. Highlighted in the video is the “Dungeon of Doom” mod, a dungeon packed with combat and hidden secrets, as well as all-new broom replacement mods, expanded character creation, outfit customization and more.

A Steam or Epic Games Store account linked to a Warner Bros. Games account will be required to access official Hogwarts Legacy mods. Players can link their accounts now at this site.

Two New Legacy of Kain Projects Announced

Award-winning creative studios Lost In Cult and Cook and Becker, in collaboration with celebrated developer Crystal Dynamics, are thrilled to announce two landmark projects that bring fans back to the grim and gothic world of Nosgoth: Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth and Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan.

Designed to celebrate the storied franchise’s rich lore and its enduring legacy, Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth will serve as the definitive official encyclopedia that chronicles the series’ lore, characters, and development history, whilst Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan will stand as a brand new tabletop role-playing game set during the Sarafan Order’s crusade against the vampiric scourge.

Both The Book of Nosgoth and Scourge of the Sarafan are available for pre-order through creative-focused crowdfunding platform BackerKit from today, with the Legacy of Kain Complete Edition combining the deluxe editions of both ventures in a luxurious presentation box with a flocked suede cover, textured base tray, and gold foil embossing.

CD PROJEKT RED has announced the start of ticket sales for its immersive live concert experience on January 24, with a pre-sale beginning 48 hours earlier. To celebrate the tour’s kickoff, an inaugural concert is scheduled for gamescom 2025.

  • First European tour stops for The Witcher in Concert have been announced for the following countries: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.
  • The tour will officially kick off on August 20th, 2025 with an inaugural performance at gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
  • Those who sign up for The Witcher in Concert newsletter will receive an exclusive pre-sale code which can be applied to a venue of their choice.
  • Additional stops will be announced at a later date, including concerts in North America and Poland.

The Witcher in Concert, a celebration of the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will bring to life the open-world RPG’s timeless score with a live orchestra performance. Select tracks from the game and its expansions will be accompanied by cutting-edge visuals and gameplay, as well as special guests Percival — co-composers of the game’s soundtrack who are known for their iconic contributions to beloved tracks.

CD PROJEKT RED officially partnered with gamescom, the world’s largest gaming event, to kick off the tour on August 20th, 2025 in Cologne, Germany.
