The Eternal Life of Goldman Composer Reveal Trailer

What happens when you bring together four brilliant composers to write music for a game about faith, love, death and challenging combat? You get the latest (extended) trailer for The Eternal Life of Goldman, revealed today during the Find Your Next Game Showcase.

The new video doesn’t just show off gameplay, it drops us right into a beautifully bizarre creative dilemma: Composer Yasunori Nishiki (Octopath Traveler, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) has joined the team… and immediately hit a wall. “I haven’t written anything yet,” he starts, “This game takes on such complicated topics and mixes so many ideas, I’m a little lost.”

Luckily, he’s not alone. Fellow composers Kevin Penkin (Star Wars: Visions, Made in Abyss, Florence), Mason Lieberman (Overwatch 2, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, League of Legends: Wild Rift), and Pete Lepley (Wargroove, Sky Rogue) step in to offer help, from poetic to painfully honest. Penkin finds inspiration in love. Lieberman reminds us that love always brings death. And Lepley? He just wants the music to hit hard enough to get the adrenaline pumping.

The trailer gives a taste of the emotional layers and tonal contrasts behind The Eternal Life of Goldman – a hand-crafted narrative 2D platformer adventure where players explore a scattered archipelago to track and destroy a mysterious deity. It’s haunting, it’s beautiful, and sometimes a little tough. Just like the creative process itself.

The Eternal Life of Goldman is being developed by Weappy Studio and published by THQ Nordic and will be available for Nintendo® Switch, PS5™, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

London Sneak Peek Event Photos & New Images for Lucasfilm Andor Season Two

Disney+ has released photos from an immersive Sneak Peek event that was held in London today for Lucasfilm’s “Andor” Season 2. The exciting event, held at the Lightroom in Kings Cross, heralded the final season of the critically acclaimed series, which brings Cassian Andor’s story to its heroic conclusion. Guests were treated to a recap of Season 1 and an exclusive look at the upcoming season, followed by a conversation with Tony Gilroy (creator, writer, executive producer), Sanne Wohlenberg (executive producer), Kathleen Kennedy (President of Lucasfilm) and Diego Luna (star, executive producer). In addition to Luna, the event was attended by stars Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay and Ben Mendelsohn, all of whom greeted guests alongside Imperial stormtroopers.

Disney+ also released brand-new images from “Andor” Season 2 today.

The second season of “Andor” takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound. Rife with political intrigue and danger, the series is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction—The Death Star—setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. “Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.

The final season will unfold over 12 episodes broken down into four chapters of three episodes each. The first chapter of season 2 will premiere April 22, with subsequent chapters debuting each week, exclusively on Disney+.

“Andor” Season 2 stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Alan Tudyk, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, with Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker. The series was created by Tony Gilroy, who also serves as an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull and John Gilroy. Tony Gilroy wrote the first three episodes, with Beau Willimon writing episodes 4-6, Dan Gilroy penning episodes 7-9 and Tom Bissell putting pen to paper for episodes 10-12. The directors for the series are Ariel Kleiman (Eps. 1-6), Janus Metz (Eps. 7-9) and Alonso Ruizpalacios (Eps. 10-12).

What’s Next for AC EVO Z Featurette

Global Publisher 505 Games and developer KUNOS Simulazioni are pleased to share new details of what comes next for Assetto Corsa EVO in a brand new developer video. Assetto Corsa EVO is the latest evolution in the acclaimed Assetto Corsa series and is currently available on Steam in Early Access.

Since its launch on January 16, Assetto Corsa EVO has achieved milestones beyond expectations. This success has been made possible thanks to the support and passion shown by players worldwide. Their contribution encouraged the development team to introduce some changes in order to improve core game experience and mechanics. These updates represent a new step forward for Assetto Corsa EVO – balancing tradition with exciting new possibilities.

Today, Marco Massarutto, co-founder and Executive Manager of KUNOS Simulazioni, shared important updates in a new video, outlining the decisions made, many of which were directly influenced by the valuable feedback from the community.

The main highlights from the video include:

  • Open/Career Modes and Special Events: The new Open Mode will be available soon. A fully offline mode that allows players to enjoy driving without the need for an internet connection.  At the same time, players’ journey and drivers’ progress in AC EVO will continue through the Career mode, which combines progression, in-game economy, and the Driving Academy; all of these contents will also be accessible without the need of an internet connection. Special Events, on the other hand, will require an internet connection – similar to the previous title Assetto Corsa Competizione – and will be available both in Open and Career Mode.
  • Technical Optimizations and Improvements: The team is working to enhance the overall performance of the game, optimizing all configurations, including users with VR and triple screen setups. Additional improvements will be implemented to ensure greater stability and smoother gameplay.
  • Enhanced AI: AI-controlled drivers will have well-defined identities and will display different behaviors depending on the difficulty level. This will allow players to have a more structured progression, facing increasingly competitive opponents. This aspect will benefit from continuous and ongoing improvements over time.
  • New Race Options and UI: The new user interface for AI opponent grids will provide greater control over single-race configurations, while the Custom Race Weekend feature will add further depth to the solo racing experience.
  • About Multiplayer: The team is testing this feature in internal sessions with excellent results, and the third Early Access release, scheduled for Summer 2025, will offer the first public version of the multiplayer mode, with a completely redesigned netcode to ensure a stable and competitive online experience.
  • Modding tools available sooner than expected: Modding support tools will be made available earlier than initially planned, during the Early Access period (instead of after the 1.0 release). This will allow the community to start testing their creativity and will allow the development team to refine this important aspect before the final release of the game.
    • Stefano Casillo’s Return: The return of Stefano Casillo (co-founder of KUNOS Simulazioni) as Chief Technology Officer of Assetto Corsa EVO marks a new chapter in the game’s development. It represents more than just a change in the organizational structure, it’s a clear statement of intent. Stefano Casillo’s experience and vision will help shape Assetto Corsa EVO.
