Darwin’s Paradox! Community Patch Update Arrives

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) today announced an update to the Steam® version of Darwin’s Paradox! The Community Patch update adds quality-of-life improvements and major bug fixes based on player feedback, providing further post-launch support.

“We’ve been blown away by your support and kind messages for Darwin’s Paradox! We’ve also been listening closely to your feedback – and today we’re happy to roll out our Community Patch, focused on delivering a smoother, fairer, and more readable experience,” said the ZDT Studio development team in a statement.

The Community Patch will also be added to the PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store versions of the game at a later date.

Community Patch main fixes:

  • Better visibility for certain lethal hazards
  • Adjusted enemy behaviours and patrol patterns
  • Reworked camera angles to help you anticipate what’s ahead
  • Improved lighting in several areas
  • Improved handling of the robot suit in “Suiting Up!” chapters
  • Fixed sections that could lead to soft-lock situations
  • Fine-tuned checkpoint placement
  • Shorter respawn times to improve pacing
  • Refined puzzles with clearer hints
  • Reduced frequency of Help System prompts
  • Performance optimizations

Bugs fixes

Plus, the Community Patch brings new visual customization options for players to optimize their gameplay experience.

New cinematic effects settings:

  • Motion Blur
  • Sharpen
  • Grain
  • Vignetting
  • Chromatic Aberration

Additionally, the ZDT Studio development team released an update for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of Darwin’s Paradox! that introduces Simplified and Traditional Chinese language support. The team also released a hotfix for the PlayStation®5 version of Darwin’s Paradox on May 5 that addressed system crashes and DLC bonus skin delays.

Darwin’s Paradox! is a new, action-adventure platformer available now on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo® Switch 2, Steam®, the Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store.

Phasmophobia Player Character Update Out Now

Today, Kinetic Games is pleased to announce that the highly anticipated Player Character Update is now available in Phasmophobia, as a free update across all platforms. Ghost hunters will be able to experience more immersive hunts, with the update bringing a host of changes ahead of the game’s 1.0 launch, including completely re-imagined character models with new animations, customisation options and more.

One of the biggest changes the major overhaul brings is that players will now have a body. Teammates can now see what their fellow ghost hunters are holding without needing to ask, and players will be able to move through environments in ways that feel more physical.

New animations will also introduce more dynamic, realistic movements and remove quirks – like the bendy backs – for even scarier ghost hunts. Players can expect new death, revival and EMF animations, which were previously teased in Phasmophobia’s 2026 Roadmap.

Interactions have also been enhanced, with unique animations for equipment and objects, for an even more immersive experience. This includes the Journal, which will now feature in-game when used rather than as a separate UI item.

Alongside this, a new item, the player watch, can now also be accessed during investigations via the Journal or when the player’s left hand is empty. It will allow players to monitor sanity levels while also keeping track of time elapsed during a contract.

Conan Exiles Enhanced Out Now on Steam

This massive upgrade is free to all current and future owners on Steam and marks a new chapter for Conan Exiles, delivering the most significant visual and technical overhaul in the game’s eight-year history.

 Launching just days before the game’s 8-year anniversary on May 8th, Conan Exiles Enhanced is a gift to the millions of players who have shaped the world of Conan since 2018.

A Modernized Conan Exiles Experience

Conan Exiles Enhanced brings the entire game into Unreal Engine 5, unifying eight years of post-launch content into a dramatically upgraded experience. Players will immediately notice:

  • Significantly improved visuals across environments, characters, lighting, and effects
  • Connecting The Exiled Lands and The Isle of Siptah (a separate purchase) into or one single immersive experience
  • Enhanced performance, targeting 60+ FPS across Low, Medium, High, and Ultra settings on most PCs
  • Strong Steam Deck performance, ensuring smooth survival on the go
  • And other improvements and quality of life additions
  • New and improved UI

This upgrade is available free of charge to all existing Steam owners of Conan Exiles.

Two Maps, One Seamless World

For the first time ever, players can now travel freely between the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah (a separate purchase). The two massive regions have been merged into a single continuous experience, allowing players to explore both without starting a new character or choosing a map at launch.

Multiplayer servers can now support both maps simultaneously, dramatically expanding the playable world for those who own the Isle of Siptah expansion.

A Global Survival Phenomenon

Since its original launch on May 8th, 2018, more than 15 million players have braved the brutal world of Conan Exiles, the acclaimed survival game set in the legendary Robert E. Howard universe.

Availability

Conan Exiles Enhanced is available now as a free upgrade for all Steam owners of the game. While there are currently no plans to bring this upgrade to consoles, Epic Game Store or Windows Store, Funcom and Inflexion Games note that future platform releases are being evaluated.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Deep Dive into Parkour, Stealth, & Combat

We know you’ve been anticipating Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and we’re delighted to share more information on key gameplay topics through a series of deep dive articles over the next several weeks, starting with the evolution of Edward’s ground gameplay.

We’re joined by Paul Fu, Creative Director and veteran developer of the original Black Flag, to provide additional insights.

Parkour, Stealth, and Combat in Resynced have all been rebuilt from the ground up using the latest advancements across the franchise, including some of the Anvil engine technology developed for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

“Our goal was to honor the foundation of the original game while enhancing the experience for an action-adventure game,” says Paul.

So, let’s step out of the Jackdaw for now, and look at how our famous Pirate-Assassin, Edward James Kenway, moves and engages on the ground in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity The Only Way Announce Trailer

Today ArenaNet® announced Guild Wars 2®: Visions of EternityTM ‘The Only Way’ launches on Tuesday, May 12. It is the second major update for the sixth and latest expansion to the award-winning and critically acclaimed MMORPG Guild Wars 2. This update expands the world with a new explorable zone, continues the epic story of the initial expansion release, and brings in new updates and rewards.

The launch story for Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity had players investigating a series of secretive Inquest voyages to the fabled island of Castora, a mysterious area rich with ley magic. Ancient secrets were unearthed. The island’s guardians were overcome. And the story now picks up with the Commander tasked with stopping Vloxx, the newly-elevated Inquest leader who thinks his machinations are for the good of Tyria. The next five chapters of the story in this update bring the Commander to the new map of Eternity’s Garden.

To accompany the story, this release also brings new and updated features. Two new mastery tiers add new account-wide horizontal progression for players. Six new earnable expansion relics bring new combat-augmenting effects to character builds. New legendary accessories, one earned through PvE content and one from World vs. World multiplayer, are available for acquisition. And more elements of players’ look can now be managed through the Fashion Template feature released in February 2026. A refreshed set of Wizard’s Vault objectives, an earnable raptor mount skin, as well as a host of other rewards associated with the new map and content, round out the release.

ArenaNet plans for one more major update to complete the content of Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity, including new story chapters, various quality of life enhancements, additional legendary gear to earn, new explorable maps, and additional challenging instanced content. Visions of Eternity is available on Steam and through the official Guild Wars 2 site for $24.99. Expansion customers will immediately receive access to all of the launch content as well as today’s release.
