Seven Knights Announced for Nintendo Switch

LOS ANGELES – MARCH 31, 2020 – Following the Nintendo Direct livestream, Netmarble is proud to announce its first video game for the Nintendo Switch™ – Seven Knights – Time Wanderer -, a console-exclusive version of one of the company’s popular mobile role-playing games (RPGs).

Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – is a visually stunning, real-time and turn-based RPG based on Seven Knights Mobile, that features all-new control and battle systems, and game content optimized for the console platform. In addition, as a single-player RPG, it also introduces its original story different from the mobile version. This game will be released worldwide as a digital package through the Nintendo eShop in each region. Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – does not include any gacha system as players acquire in-game characters as they progress through the story.

“Since Seven Knights’ 2014 Korean launch, it’s been quite humbling and exciting to see the game grow in global popularity. We could not be more thrilled that Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – will be Netmarble’s first Nintendo game,” said Young Jae Park, Executive Producer of Netmarble. “The team can’t wait to share what makes Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – so special to a new audience, so we will work closely with Nintendo to ensure our first console game is exciting for Nintendo Switch gamers to play with.”

Seven Knights – Time Wanderer – focuses on the story of the eighth member of the Seven Knights, Vanessa, who is equipped with the ultimate magical equipment, a sentient hourglass known as Sandy. After falling into the twists of space and time, she embarks on a journey to return safely home, where original characters from Seven Knights’ mobile version will join them as a party member in this real-time, turn-based, combat-oriented adventure.

The original version of Seven Knights has been available in over 150 countries worldwide since its first launch in March 2014, on both the App Store and Google Play, and has achieved 60 millions of cumulative download across the globe for over six years. A turn-based mobile RPG enjoying great popularity worldwide, Seven Knights offers the fun of collecting and fostering about 700 kinds of characters with intense turn-based battles.

Enlisted Opens Public Playtest

April 1, 2020 – Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software studio would like to announce the very first public playtest of Enlisted – a new squad-based MMO shooter game reconstructing World War II battles. The event starts on 1st of April and will be available for a limited time to all PC users. Those willing to participate should simply apply at the official website – https://enlisted.net.

Anton Yudintsev, founder of Gaijin Entertainment, says: “The most successful games built on our engine have been announced on April 1st, that’s why we decided to hold the first public playtest of Enlisted on the same day”.

Playtest will bring gamers to the suburbs of the town of Volokolamsk during the fiercest days in the Battle of Moscow and will allow players to try one Invasion mode map and two Domination mode maps. Invasion mode is set so that one team is trying to storm the heavily fortified positions, while the other one defends. Domination mode is a classic team battle over three control points. Playtest participants will participate in one of two nations – specifically, Germany and the USSR, authentic and historically accurate weapons and equipment, including the T-26 and Pzkpfw.III F tanks.

Each Enlisted player commands a squad of several soldiers. One of the fighters is controlled directly, while others move and shoot independently following the player’s general orders. In a situation where all the soldiers in the squad have fallen, a player respawns with the next available squad. The soldiers in different squads have different equipment: for example, one could enlist a highly skilled sniper with a good rifle, while the other one may boast a submachine gun user. The tank crew is also technically a separate squad. Right now each Enlisted gameplay session supports massive and highly spectacular battles of up to 140 soldiers simultaneously.

Enlisted is not limited to only one battle or only one theatre in World War II. Other nations will follow, allowing players to storm the Normandy beaches and clash in the hot Tunisian desert. Dozens of available squads will be unlocked and leveled up, opening access to numerous pieces of historically accurate equipment like the PPSh-41, MG-42 or M1 Garand infantry weapons and the KV-2 and Pzkpfw IV tanks, with even more cool things to follow, like aviation.

Follow the news at the official website to be the first to know the latest developments and not to miss the start of the Closed Beta. https://enlisted.net/en/news/show/27-first-public-playtest-of-enlisted-en/#!/

Imperator: Rome Content Pack and Religious Update Released

STOCKHOLM – 31 March 2020 – The rise of Macedon overwhelmed the ancient fame of Athens and Sparta. But with the death of Alexander, the prospect of freedom among competing empires offered a chance to revive lost glories. In Magna Graecia, a new content pack for Imperator: Rome, you can play this dangerous game and restore the Greek city-states to imperial power.

Imperator: Rome, Paradox Development Studio’s grand strategy game about the classical world, gets a new content pack today. Magna Graecia enhances the experience of playing Greek minor cities, especially the big three – Athens, Sparta and Syracuse.

Magna Graecia includes:

  • Apotheosis: A popular ruler from a prestigious family may be declared a god and welcomed into the State Pantheon. Elevate enough rulers and you may institute an Imperial Cult religion.
  • New Greek Missions: New missions available for Athens, Sparta, Syracusae.
  • New Deities: 12 new Greek deities tied to historical Holy Sites across the Greek world.
  • Hellenistic Themed Treasures: Collect special artifacts based on the history and legends of the Hellenistic world.
  • New Music, Art, and 3D Models

Today also sees the release of the free 1.4 “Archimedes” update for Imperator: Rome. This update addresses the religious aspect of the game, introducing Pantheons and other divine changes.

  • State Deities: The Omens system has been replaced by a national Pantheon. Gods from across your empire are welcome into this divine collection, providing passive bonuses most of the time, though you can invoke their power for greater benefits.
  • Holy Sites: The classical world was full of sacred groves and mysterious locales. Holy Sites increase the strength of the relevant deity in your Pantheon, or may be sacked of their wealth by less faithful rulers.
  • Sacred Treasures: Revered historical and divine relics can be stored in your National Treasury, earning small bonuses. If you sack an enemy’s Holy Sites or capital, there is a chance you might capture these special artifacts.
  • Loyalty Rework: Instead of a ticking scale to track, Character Loyalty will be a sum of various factors, making it easier to understand and control.

Curious players can now take advantage of the opportunity to play Imperator: Rome for free until 22:00 CEST on Sunday, April 05, 2020.

The Magna Graecia content pack is available now at major online retailers for a suggested retail price of $7.99 / £5.79 / €7.99.

Shinsekai: Into the Depths Out Now on Nintendo Switch

March 25, 2020 – Unveiled during today’s Nintendo Direct, Capcom’s action-based deep-sea exploration game Shinsekai: Into the Depths is available now for digital download on the Nintendo Switch™ system for MSRP $19.99.

Shinsekai: Into the Depths submerges players into the solitary struggle of the last-surviving human as they sink ever deeper into an unexplored, aquatic world. In order to escape a rapidly approaching ice age, players must collect resources, upgrade their gear, and craft new items necessary for advancing deeper into the abyss. Divers must keep a close eye on their oxygen and pressure levels as they explore this enchanting world and discover the secrets held within its mysterious ruins. The development team took an indie development approach to create Shinsekai: Into the Depths to provide players with a unique and immersive new gaming experience. To enhance the underwater atmosphere, the developers at Capcom Japan rerecorded music and sound effects being played through submerged speakers to create an extra level of underwater realism.

Shinsekai: Into the Depths introduces several new features with its release on Nintendo Switch, including the all-new “Another Dive” time-challenge mode with two difficulty levels, in addition to the new “Jukebox Mode.” In “Another Dive,” players must descend through a perilous maze as quickly as possible in order to confront a new monstrous threat. After completing “Another Dive”, those wishing to truly test their mettle can also brave its Hardcore mode, which adds more pressure by placing the player in an antique diving suit and offers even fewer resources. Audiophiles can take a break from the action to explore the new “Jukebox Mode,” which allows players to listen to their favorite background music at any time, and tinker with a variety of audio filters such as music depth.

“Another Dive” and “Jukebox Mode” will be available in a free title update for Apple ArcadeSM subscribers on iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, Mac® and Apple TV® on March 26th.
