World of Warships Celebrates US Navy Fleet Week

Today, on the official U.S. Navy Day, World of Warships revealed it will honor the U.S. Navy with a live virtual Fleet Week celebration on November 9, 2020, just prior to Veterans Day. The celebration, in partnership with Verizon, will feature a mixture of historical footage along with exclusive in-game and CGI footage to recreate the atmosphere of a grand Fleet Week while also paying tribute to the U.S. Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.

The World of Warships’ Virtual Fleet Week will feature the most iconic U.S. warships, including the famed USS Midway, a virtual airshow, and historical footage commemorating soldier homecomings, veteran story sessions and more. A special keynote speech will be delivered by Chief Executive Officer of the United States Naval Institute, Vice Admiral Peter Daly, USN (Ret.).

“The team is excited to create a Virtual Fleet Week to celebrate Veterans Day with our partners,” said Artur Plociennik, World of Warships’ Regional Publishing Director. “While the pandemic has caused the actual Fleet Week events to cancel, we feel it’s important to continue to celebrate the achievements of the U.S. Navy to ensure the current generation is educated on the many accomplishments of those who have served.”

The World of Warships Virtual Fleet Week will be held on November 9, starting at 3 pm CST, in the virtual New York City harbor and parade down the Hudson River. In addition to the virtual parade, the program will be hosted by History Channel’s naval historian, the museum representatives from USS Iowa, USS Midway, USS Intrepid and USS Lexington as well as the veterans that will be sharing their stories. Scorn Xbox Series X Gameplay Trailer

Ebb Software today unveiled a new, extended gameplay trailer of its upcoming first-person horror game, Scorn. The video shows a significantly updated version of the level first shown in 2017, this time running on Xbox Series X.

The footage is from a different part of the level revealed previously, and showcases the progress the team has made on the singular experience of Scorn. Gameplay and game systems have been enhanced, with new weapons, animations, environments and creatures added.

The entire environment and every encounter within it are designed to tell a specific story and draw you into the world of Scorn. Initially indifferent to your humanoid presence in the sticky, organic passages they inhabit, the creatures you meet quickly turn hostile if crossed.

The game has been running on Xbox Series X for only a couple of months, but has already reached parity with high-spec PC configurations. Many further optimizations for both platforms are planned before Scorn launches in 2021.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack Release Date

KOEI TECMO America and famed developer Kou Shibusawa are excited to reveal the release date for their upcoming historical strategy game, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack. The expansion pack will release digitally on February 11, 2021 for the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System and Windows PC via Steam®, while also making its series debut as the first ruler-based Romance of The Three Kingdoms game on Nintendo Switch™.

In Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack, players are able to acquire geographical advantages once they have conquered a certain amount of cities within a province, with each province boasting its own unique advantages to help, turn the tides in battle. For example: conquering the Qing Province grants the High Reputation ability — expanding the auto conquer range — while conquering Southern Jing Province enhances the probability of recruiting free officers or captives with the Rhetorician advantage.

Once certain geographical advantages are unlocked, players can open-up trade routes with Eurasian countries – a series first! The four great empires that existed during the same era, Daqin (Rome), Anxi (Parthia), Guishuang (Kushan) and Tianzhu (India) can now become trade partners, and through developing strong relations with each empire, players will earn techniques or books, teaching special tactics. The Parthian Shot Tome, for example, enables commanders to learn the Parthian Shot ability for their units, while Mansumriti increases politics and prolongs the life of ally units. Some of these abilities are extremely powerful, so players must carefully consider their relations with Eurasian empires, while at the same time preventing enemy forces from commencing trade.

In addition, new officer characteristics focusing on trade have been added to the Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack. March Leader decreases the number of days required for trade, while Special Envoy makes it easier to increase relation levels. These new characteristics help players smooth-out relationships with their trading partners.

On top of the new gameplay information today, KOEI TECMO Europe also revealed the early purchase bonuses for Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV: Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack, which will be available to freely download within the first two weeks from launch. The bonus scenario ‘The Fall of Shu Han’ will be available for players on all platforms, while the ‘Battle of Yiling’ scenario, originally a bonus for the release of Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV, will be available exclusively to Switch players.

Nine Witches: Family Disruption, the IndieCade-nominated comedic alternate-history occult adventure game from developer Indiesruption and publisher Blowfish Studios conjures a Dec. 4, 2020 release on Nintendo SwitchTM, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. As World War II nears its climax, air raids and artillery shells are the least of Sundäe’s concerns. The remote Norwegian village, home to the delicious three-testicled salmon, has caught the interest of the Third Reich’s Okkulte-55 Division, who are keen to exploit this supernatural hotspot and turn the tide of battle in Germany’s favor. Final Fantasy XIV Online Celebrates Return of Make it Rain Campaign

FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online celebrates the arrival of its latest in-game event today with the return of the ever-popular Make It Rain campaign to the Manderville Gold Saucer.

Now through November 20, all Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP) rewards from the Gold Saucer are increased by 50% and campaign attendants will offer a range of items at discounted prices, including furnishings awarded during previous seasonal events. Additionally, tracking down Nanaphon in Ul’dah and helping him out will unlock a special “Consider” emote.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. revealed the launch trailer for Hiei and Meruem ahead of their official addition to the JUMP FORCE roster for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC users. Hiei and Meruem are available in early access as part of Character Pass 2 beginning October 23rd and will officially be available for individual purchase by all players on October 27th. Both characters will also be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2021.

In addition to Hiei and Meruem, JUMP FORCE Character Pass 2 also features the now-available Shoto Todoroki and two currently unannounced characters from Bleach and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
