Microsoft Announces Forza 3 Release Date and CE Contents


Microsoft has announced that their upcoming racer, Forza Motorsports 3, will be released on October 27th throughout North America on the Xbox 360. They also detailed the game’s Gamestop-exclusive Collector’s Edition variant, which will include the following a ton of additional vehicles not seen in the standard edition.

Should you pre-order you will get a VIP membership to the Forza 3 online community as well as the following rides:
* 2009 Aston Martin DBS
* 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
* 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia
* 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
* 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997)

Pre-order customers will also get an additional car pack included which includes:
* Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro
* Acura NSX (Forza Motorsport Cover Car)
* Nissan Fairlady (Forza Motorsport 2 Cover Car)
* Aston Martin DB9 (Forza Motorsport 2 European Cover Car)

EA Sports Passes New NBA LIVE 10 Screenshots Your Way


EA Sports has released some new screenshots for their upcoming NBA LIVE 10, which is due out this fall on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and PSP platforms. NBA LIVE 10 will feature a new ‘Dynasty Mode’ which allows more franchise-wide control as well as enhanced player-control and AI.

Bungie’s Last Xbox 360 Halo Game Will Be Halo: Reach

In a recent interview with CVG, Bungie senior designer Lars Bakken said that Halo: Reach would be their last Halo title developed for the Xbox 360:

‘In terms of a platform for Halo games made by Bungie, yes. I can’t answer that question for Microsoft though. Whether they have something in the works or not, I don’t know if they’re actually ready to talk about it yet, but in terms of Bungie-produced Halo games, ODST and then Reach is probably all you’re going to get.’

Microsoft still has the right to develop Halo games on the platform, and they most likely will until 3D television technology develops enough for their next console.

Dante’s Inferno Comic Con Contest Announced

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 Announced for Nintendo Wii


Konami has announced that its upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will also be hitting the Nintendo Wii platform this Fall. PES 2010 will feature a brand-new game balance system which prevents players with ball-possession from simply sprinting the whole way to the goal. It should force new strategies and quick-thinking, which will hopefully make the gameplay experience a lot more fun.
