Scarecrow Revealed in DC Universe Online

Sony Online Entertainment and DC Comics have revealed Scarecrow as one of the villains in their upcoming MMORPG, DC Universe Online. DCUO is due out early next year and will allow players to become a super-individual of their own design on either the side of good… or evil.

New Voice Actors Revealed for DC Universe Online

Sony Online Entertainment has announced that Arleen Sorkin (Batman: The Animated Series), Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Corey Burton (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Dwight Schultz (The A-Team, Star Trek: The Next Generation) will join the voice cast in their upcoming MMORPG, DC Universe Online. Sorkin will reprise her role as Harley Quinn while Wheaton will play Robin, Burton will voice Brainiac, and Shultz will play The Flash.

‘The addition of these actors to our existing cast reaffirms our commitment to gamers to deliver the most fun and authentic DC Universe experience possible,’ said Sony Online Entertainment executive producer John Blakely. ‘They’re all experienced and talented performers and we’re excited for players to hear their work when they encounter them in the game.’

DC Universe Online is due out in early 2011 on the PS3 and PC platforms.

New Pre-Release Week Rock Band 3 Screenshots

Electronic Arts, MTV Games, and Harmonix have released a slew of pre-release week screenshots to their upcoming music game, Rock Band 3. The new screens range from Pro Mode captures to character creation shots and more. In fact, there were SO many screenshots, we can only offer you a select smattering. Rock Band 3 is due out on October 26th.

Combat Mission Shock Force: NATO Out Now

Battlefront made a surprise announcement today stating that the final expansion to their Combat Mission Shock Force military simulation, NATO, has been released for sale at their official website. NATO features three new campaigns as well as a slew of new units for existing armies – not to mention the addition of three new armies as well.

Combat Mission Shock Force: NATO retails for $25 dollars in its digital distribution format.

Square Enix Announces Front Mission Evolved Papercraft Contest

Square Enix has announced an new contest along with Double Helix Games where winners can win items ranging from Xbox LIVE Gold memberships all the way to a four-foot tall papercraft Wanzer from Front Mission Evolved. To enter, users must create their own papercraft Wanzer using downloadable template.

New Screenshots from Divinity II – The Dragon Knight Saga

Focus Home Interactive has sent out some new screenshots from their upcoming Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, some even featuring cool shots of dragons in flight. Divinity II is due out later this year on the Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms and features the original Divinity II: Ego Draconis as well as the expansion and some additional, new content.

Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar Mode Trailer


In this new trailer from Electronic Arts for their upcoming Rock Band 3, we get a look at the game’s Pro Guitar mode and Fender’s Rock Band 3 pro guitar hardware. This mode promises to be a very hardcore experience that will eventually help people learn to play music on real guitars.

Circe Revealed in DC Universe Online


Sony Online Entertainment has revealed that Circe will be joining the cast of villains in their upcoming MMO, DC Universe Online. Circe commanded sirens who lured men to their doom on the high seas. DCUO will be released in the first quarter of 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Windows PC platforms.

Shogun 2: Total War Gets New Screenshots

SEGA and The Creative Assembly have released some new screenshots for their upcoming real-time strategy title, Shogun 2: Total War. Due out next year, exclusively on Windows PCs, Shogun 2: Total War promises better visuals and gameplay options over its predecessors.
