Legendary Pictures has produces a ton of big Hollywood flicks such as Superman Returns, 300, and more. Now, they are announcing that they have created Venture, an in-house game developer to create games for multiple platforms (including mobile and the Internet) based on their films. Kathy Vrabeck, a former EA executive, has been charged with running the new division.

‘Venture, to be based at Legendary’s offices on the Warner Bros. lot, will develop content based on its pics, as well as original programming that will be distribbed across multiple platforms, including the Internet, mobile phones and videogames.’
The teaser for Kojima’s next project has been updated with a countdown timer. In addition to the 80 hours left on the clock, a ‘5’ (or perhaps ‘S’) appears briefly after each lightning flash. What does this mean? Metal Gear Solid 5? Maybe?

Apparently, Eidos was not impressed with the 1.5 million units of Tomb Raider: Underworld sold in the game’s first weeks out of the gate and will be considering a redesign of not only the character Lara Croft but everything in an attempt to make the game more ‘female-friendly’. The Tomb Raider games are a very long-running franchise, beginning back in 1996, and Eidos has even hired models to portray the character of Lara Croft at conventions and other events.
