Krytac Unveils New Products for Fall 2019

October 17, 2019 – Brea, California, USA – Today, KRYTAC® announce plans to release a new limited edition KRISS® Vector, an M-lok version of the Trident M4 PDW, and a 150 rounds capacity M4 magazine. All three new products will be on public display for the first time at Airsoftcon 2019, October 19th, at the Evike.com Super Store in Alhambra, California.

The new Limited Edition KRISS® Vector Alpine is a close quarters battle AEG featuring the Alpine White furniture adorned on the KRISS® Vector firearm. Additional features include the Gen 2.1 upper receiver, 6.5” barrel length, Vector MK5 Modular Rail with preinstalled picatinny hand stop, and DS150 telescopic stock; which replicate the standard configuration of the Vector SBR firearm. Other limited edition features include the Vector AEG extended battery cap, two magazines (95 rounds extended size, and 50 rounds standard size), and a certificate of authenticity. Worldwide production of the Vector Alpine AEG is limited to 3,000 units.

The second new AEG that KRYTAC® announce is the Trident MKII-M PDW, an ultra-compact M4 style CQB AEG. In addition to the new 5” free floating M-lok rail, this PDW features the newest version Compact Carbine Stock. When compared to the previous model, the new CCS offers several improvements, such as a larger battery compartment with tool-less access. The CCS now offers pull-to-extend deployment, allowing the user to extend the stock one handed, without pushing any buttons or levers. Finally, a sling attachment point has been added that is reversible to accommodate left and right handed players.

Internally, both the Limited Edition Vector Alpine and the Trident MKII-M PDW feature the new Airsoft T-Plug battery connector, with Tamiya adaptor. The Airsoft T-Plug is smaller, provides a more secure connection, and functions with substantially less resistance, versus the traditional Tamiya plug. The Limited Edition Vector Alpine and the Trident MKII-M PDW are the first KRYTAC® AEGs to supercede the the T-Plug over the Tamiya. Regarding the transition to the Airsoft T-Plug, KRYTAC Product Manager, Allen Lau states, “The Airsoft T-Plug, commonly referred to as Deans Plugs, has been the connector of choice among top level technicians for decades, due to the performance gains and space savings for high performance AEG builds. We are very excited to offer this superior battery connector as an OEM configuration, and continue to exceed user expectations for out-of-box performance.”

Finally, the KRYTAC® M4 Magazine, a 150 rounds capacity magazine designed to resolve common gameplay perplexities. The M4 Midcap features dual translucent windows along the BB track and a high visibility orange follower. The bottom of the windows indicated 30 rounds between it and the feed lip, to quickly identify remaining capacity. The triangular button securing the baseplate is also made of high visibility orange, and acts as a forward indicator for orientation identification. In order to ease maintenance and cleaning, the KRYTAC M4 Mag features a multi-piece construction with a clear core, disassembly of the mag body, spring, and follower can be performed without any tools.

The addition of the iconic DeLorean offers players a chance to get behind the wheel of the iconic vehicle made famous in the 80s, just in time for its Steam Free Weekend from October 17 to 21.

Celebrating nearly a year’s worth of constant updates and costing a mere $1.99 / £1.69 the DeLorean DLC comes hot on the heels of the recently announced GRIP: Combat Racing – AirBlades Vs Rollers Ultimate Edition, on the PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC via Steam®. With less than 9,000 created, even less in existence today, fans of the DeLorean will now have a chance to own their very own.

DeLorean Motor Company, one of the most beloved car manufacturers in the galaxy, has injected its flagship vehicle into GRIP: Combat Racing. Armed, armoured, flippable and jet fuel-injected, it’s the most souped-up DeLorean you will ever see – and pilot. It arrives in two forms: anti-grav AirBlades and regular four-wheeled roller. Check out the trailer below to see how the iconic ‘gull-wing’ doored sports car has been transformed for its debut on GRIP’s more than deadly tracks.

Inspired by Rollcage, and in partnership with key development team members from the original Rollcage, GRIP: Combat Racing has continued to fuel the racing appetite of arcade gamers around the world. A return to the hardcore combat scene of the 90s, bristling with heavy weapons and packing ferocious speed, the game is an intense, sensory feast. With a dedicated community and player numbers continually growing, GRIP: Combat Racing has seen a huge amount of content and updates since launch, with constant optimisation, new tracks and new playing modes having already been introduced.

GRIP: Combat Racing can be played for free digitally on Steam at 10AM PT October 17 until 10AM PT October 21. GRIP: Combat Racing can also be purchased for console platforms (MSRP $39.99) and PC (MSRP $29.99) – digitally on Steam, the PlayStation™ Store, Xbox Games Store, Nintendo Switch or physically, upright and upside-down at global retail. All players who already own GRIP will receive Airblades as a free update.

In addition to its digital release on Xbox One, GRIP: Combat Racing is available through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, bringing the title to Xbox players around the world.

Fallout 76 Update Talks Wastelanders Delay, Private Servers, and more

10/17/2019 – As we approach the one-year anniversary of the launch of Fallout 76, we wanted to take a moment to talk about Wastelanders, provide an update on a few areas of the game, and share why we’re so optimistic about the future.

WASTELANDERS

We’ve been hard at work on Fallout 76 this year, including our biggest free update yet, Wastelanders. We’re excited about how Wastelanders is coming together but it’s going to need more time to be the best, most polished update it can be, so we are delaying its release to Q1 next year. We’ve continued to re-evaluate and change our processes to make sure the work we’re doing hits our quality bar, and yours. We apologize for this delay but know it will be worth the extra time.

Wastelanders is turning out to be one of the largest expansions we’ve ever done, and it changes the entire world with human NPCs returning. We’ll be sharing more details over time, but here’s a look at some new screenshots of what’s to come in Wastelanders:

PRIVATE WORLDS COMING SOON

We’re happy to announce our work on the service for private servers is complete and will be launching next week! The ability to play in your own private world with your friends has been the number one community-requested feature, and we’re thrilled it’s finally coming. Our goal for players who purchase this service is to offer something for everyone, not just those who want a private server. Additionally, in the future you’ll be able to mod your worlds. Stay tuned for more information on the service in the coming days.

CHALLENGES, ATOMS, THE ATOMIC SHOP, AND YOU

We love that there are so many types of players within Fallout 76, and one of our primary goals is to reward everyone, no matter how you play. This includes our approach to earning Atoms through Challenges and the types of items to unlock with them in the Atomic Shop.

Our approach to these items at launch was to keep them purely cosmetic. But after looking at all the data, it became clear that to consistently deliver content that keeps Fallout 76 fresh and exciting for all, we needed to rethink our approach to the Atomic Shop.

While we had many ideas on what to add to the Atomic Shop, one of the ways was the direct result of the community’s feedback. We heard from many of you who wanted items with some real utility. Starting in April, we began adding items such as Repair Kits, Scrap Kits, the Collectron Station, and a working Refrigerator. These have since become the most popular category in the Atomic Shop. We’re also still working on all the previously announced items and new cosmetic categories.

We want to create an Atomic Shop experience where players feel good about spending their hard-earned Atoms. To make the system more fun and engaging for all players, we plan on reworking parts of the Challenge and reward system next year to be clearer, more fun, and more impactful for all types of players.

Of course, players can also buy Atoms, and we’re careful with everything we add to not upset the game’s balance. Our main objective is to avoid a situation where players can spend money to gain a competitive advantage or make the game worse for other players. Even more so, we want systems that allow players who do choose to buy Atoms to make the game better for others, not just themselves. With these principles in mind, we make careful decisions about the items we offer to keep it fair for everyone.

REMAINDER OF 2019 AND BEYOND

We still have a few more updates coming in 2019, including previously announced fixes to the existing game and quality-of-life improvements many of you have requested. We hope the extra time on Wastelanders will allow us to deliver many of these fixes this year.

We’re also still working on new events, the Legendary Player system, a public test server, perk loadouts, and so much more to come.

Thank you all again for your incredible support of our studio and Fallout 76. This year has been a rewarding journey for us, and your love of the game has pushed us to do everything we can to make it better and better. We love hearing your stories, like the amazing Wasteland Doctor, the love hotel, the brahmin death trap, and so many more. We love seeing what you create with photomode, our current favorite being the album cover art show.

We hope you’re as excited as we are for everything coming. We’re doing it all to ensure Fallout 76 remains vibrant and growing for years to come.
