The Last Gas Station, the cozy management simulator about running the world’s last surviving gas station, has received a major free update introducing online co-op alongside new features, progression options, and quality-of-life improvements.

Players can now invite a friend and manage the station together, splitting up everyday tasks as they serve customers, restock supplies, improve the business, and explore the strange world surrounding the last gas station.

The update also adds new ways to customize and develop the station. A new high-level ‘Regional Development’ upgrade allows players to purchase permanent bonuses to Civilization and Mystery. Players can also customize the main character with a selection of outfits, with several available from the start and additional options unlocking as they progress.

Alongside the new content, the update also includes a range of quality-of-life improvements and fixes, including more readable font options, background play support, faster navigation through long item and decoration lists, and reduced EcoWatt purchase and rental costs.

To celebrate the launch of co-op, The Last Gas Station is 50% off for two weeks on Steam — making it a great time to grab a copy for a friend and start running the station together. Additional content updates for The Last Gas Station are planned as part of its post-launch roadmap.
