Developer and publisher PikPok today announced that Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days will officially leave Early Access and launch its full 1.0 release in March 2027, bringing its gripping survival experience to players across Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and GeForce NOW.

To celebrate the announcement, PikPok released an all-new gameplay trailer showcasing a fresh look at the desperate struggle for survival, expanded gameplay systems, and the harrowing choices awaiting players when the full game launches next March.

Since entering Early Access, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days has grown through player feedback and continuous updates, expanding its survival systems, refining gameplay, and introducing new content to create the most complete version of the experience yet.

In Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, players scavenge for dwindling resources, build and manage shelters, make impossible moral decisions, and guide a fragile group of survivors through an unforgiving 1980’s Texas where every choice carries consequences. Survival depends not only on avoiding the infected, but on maintaining hope, trust, and the will to find a way to escape the city.

“Announcing the launch of Version 1.0 marks a major milestone for the team,” said Mario Wynands, CEO at PikPok. “The passion and feedback from our Early Access community has helped shape and drive Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days into an experience even better than what we originally envisioned. We’re excited to welcome both returning survivors and new players when the full game launches in March 2027.”
