CORSAIR Launches the 2800X RS-R ARGB MICRO-ATX Case

CORSAIR® (Nasdaq: CRSR) is excited to announce the launch of the 2800X RS-R ARGB case, offering advanced DIY features in a Micro-ATX case. The CORSAIR 2800X is available in black or white and is a more compact version of the popular 3500X case, providing everything PC builders and system integrators need at an affordable price. It offers room for full-sized GPUs and includes three pre-installed RS120-R ARGB PWM reverse-rotor fans for great cooling and customizable lighting right out of the box. It’s a compact and full-featured Micro-ATX case, making it a flexible foundation for powerful PCs.

COMPACT DESIGN, BIG PERFORMANCE

The 2800X is made for compact builds with Micro-ATX motherboards, allowing it to fit easily on any desk while providing the same performance and features as a larger ATX build but without unused PCIe expansion slots, making for cleaner, more efficient, and more affordable build. Despite being more compact than a mid-tower case like the FRAME 5000D, the 2800X has a roomy interior with 410mm of GPU clearance, giving even the largest graphics cards plenty of room to breathe. It also supports advanced cooling options typically found in larger cases. The top of the case accommodates radiators up to 360mm, enabling efficient cooling for high-performance CPUs. Effective internal airflow is achieved with 10x 120mm fan mounts, providing plenty of options for both internal cooling and RGB lighting.

PANORAMIC GLASS WITH REVERSE-ROTOR FANS

The 2800X makes it easy to show off hardware, RGB lighting, and meticulous cable management with tempered glass front and side panels, providing an expansive view of the case interior. The interior side panel features 3x pre-installed RS120-R reverse-rotor ARGB PWM fans with unobstructed RGB lighting that pull cool air in from outside the chassis for powerful internal airflow.

The RS120-R fans feature a Magnetic Dome bearing for quiet operation, and all three fans connect to the motherboard using just a 4-pin PWM and +5V ARGB cable, enabling easy control of fan speed and RGB lighting without the need for a separate fan controller.

The 2800X is loaded with useful features for DIY PC builders and system integrators alike. It supports the latest reverse-connector motherboards from ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE, helping create builds with no visible cables for a truly immaculate look. It also includes a built-in GPU Anti-sag Stabilization Arm that is adjustable to help protect both the GPU and the PCIe slot.

The rear chamber simplifies cable management with 3x Velcro straps for routing and securing cables, and a combination storage plate behind the motherboard allows installation of 2x SSDs or 1x HDD for easy storage upgrades. The top-mounted I/O offers both speed and compatibility with 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port (5Gb/s) and 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port for super-fast transfers up to 20Gb/s.

Easily Upgrade to iCUE LINK

Upgrade your 2800X lighting and fan speed control to iCUE LINK with a COMMANDER DUO Hybrid Lighting and Fan Controller (sold separately). COMMANDER DUO makes it easy to add an iCUE LINK AIO liquid CPU cooler or additional case fans to your system. Supporting both four-pin PWM and iCUE LINK components, it lets you control and synchronize fan speeds and RGB lighting for all connected devices through a single interface using powerful CORSAIR iCUE software (iCUE LINK System Hub also required).
