The momentum doesn’t stop. Following numerous patches since the Early Access release of Farmer’s Dynasty 2 and the latest free update „Historical Machines“ the rural open world of Green Thorn Valley now has another attraction. Independent development team UMEO Studios and publisher Toplitz Productions have released a new free content update, which introduces the Riverside Sawmill as a fully functional facility.
After purchasing the property in-game, aspiring farmers can use the sawmill as a production site for premium lumber, thus expanding the variety of goods they have available for use in their renovation projects or, of course, to generate a profit.
Logs transported to the sawmill can be processed in a variety of ways. They can be debarked and sold directly or cut into plank pallets, for example, which in turn can be sold immediately or dried to increase their market value.
To enhance the atmosphere of the lumberjack setting, water-based transportation for logs has been implemented. This opens new logistics routes and gameplay strategies, making the prime riverside location of the sawmill even more valuable.

The next step on the roadmap will be the „Beets & Potatoes“ Update, scheduled for next month. It will introduce not only new produce to the ever-expanding world of Farmer’s Dynasty 2, but add a new storage building as well as four crop-specific machines, including potato harvesters and beets seeders.
