The wait is over. Critical Role premieres its highly anticipated Campaign 4 tonight, ushering in a bold new era for the global storytelling phenomenon. For the first time, celebrated creator Brennan Lee Mulligan takes the seat as Game Master for the flagship series, guiding a rotating cast of 13 players through Aramán, a world outside Exandria that’s brimming with danger, wonder, and intrigue.

At the center of this tale is Thjazi Fang, a hero to some and enemy to others, whose looming execution pulls together disparate figures from across his life. As their stories collide, the campaign weaves high-stakes drama, clandestine scheming, and epic fantasy into a saga that asks: Without the gods, what great deeds now fall to us?

For the first time, Critical Role adopts a West Marches-style format in Campaign 4, with three rotating tables (Soldiers, Seekers, and Schemers) offering audiences multiple vantage points as the story unfolds. Drawing on the updated 2024 Dungeons & Dragons rules, alongside homebrew elements from famed game designers Jeremy Crawford and Chris Perkins, this campaign sets the stage for epic stories of survival, rebellion, and destiny.
