Wicked Harvest, the first DLC for the tactical extraction looter Nightmare Frontier, is out now, introducing twelve terrifying new enemies, legendary gear, and an entirely new hunt that will push even the most seasoned Scavangers to their limits. The challenge awaits players.
Twelve Wicked Dreadweavers: Harvest Their Hearts
Deep within the ruins, a new breed of Nightmare has taken root: the Wicked Dreadweavers, monstrous entities shaped around a single Fear taken to its absolute limit. They have outgrown everything around them, and hunting them will require Scavangers to break the habits they have spent the entire game forming. Every hunt count: once a Wicked Dreadweaver is killed, it is gone from the Frontier for good.
Bringing the Hearts of fallen prey to the Serpent Apothecary, a mysterious alchemist with the knowledge needed to track and kill the Wicked, will unlock entirely new upgrade trees in the Hideout. Each Heart holds the story of the Fear that gave its monstrous host life, and the Apothecary will reveal its origins as he cuts it open.
As the hunt progresses, players can move his laboratory into their Hideout and turn their trophies into a growing arsenal of deadly possibilities.
Legendary Gear, Forged from the Horrors Killed
Every Wicked Dreadweaver drops a legendary piece of gear fashioned from its own corpse. These unique items can be upgraded, allowing Raiders to harness the monsters’ dark power and reshape their approach to combat. Each trophy offers a distinct way to change how you approach the Nightmare, opening new strategies and encouraging players to rethink the tactics they have relied on throughout the campaign.
With twelve unique targets to track, permanent kills, new upgrade trees, and legendary gear to collect, Wicked Harvest brings a new layer of risk and progression to Nightmare Frontier. The hunt comes with its own questline, independent of the main campaign.
The Wicked have taken root. The Apothecary is waiting. And the only way to uncover the truth behind the Fear is to hunt it down.
