Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical games, in collaboration with Interabang and Atari, announced today that they’re bringing fan-favorite Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, the blunt-tastic beat-em-up to Nintendo® Switch™ and PlayStation®5 in physical form, with a whole host of brand-new updates and features that give the gameplay a fresh feel! Pre-orders are open today and extend until September 20.

In a move that will delight fans of the chaotic companions, this stylized, hand-drawn, side-scrolling, beat-em-up adventure, sees players choosing to tackle the world solo, or to team up in couch co-op, as they embark on an epic adventure through the streets of the View Askewniverse, leaving hordes of hockey-stick wielding teenage thugs, dookie demons, hipsters with babies, old grumpy danglers and massive, movie-inspired boss battles in their smoke-fuelled wake. Expect over-the-top combat and badass catchphrases, slick special moves and cascading combos from the pair as they brawl their way from the New Jersey Quick Stop all the way to a recently discovered mystical mall that has cast a mysterious chokehold on the city’s residents.

Since the digital launch of the game a few months ago, the development team has been closely listening to player feedback, and as a result, has made all manner of adjustments and enhancements to both the combat and gameplay. Players revisiting the title will find that this version of Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch gives them the perfect slap-tastic battle satisfaction that they expect from an adventure featuring our two infamous anti-heroes.

Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch has been blessed by our two heroes themselves, with Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) and Jason Mewes (Jay) lending their instantly recognizable voices to the game, ensuring that players get the complete Jay and Silent Bob treatment, with the expected level of profanity that they expect from an adventure featuring our two outrageous heroes.
