Clock in for a shift in a 1995 small-town video store and discover dark dimensions lying in wait within the building’s facade. When the last customer leaves, the final rental rewrites reality into a terrifying scenario based on the movie, and the sole employee responsible for locking up must now survive while closing shop over the course of five dreadful nights.
It’s not glamorous. It’s not safe. But every night is different, and it pays the bills, so hey — it could WILL be worse! They won’t be here forever, and when they’re gone, comforting rental store nostalgia bleeds into a living nightmare.
