Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today revealed a new trailer showcasing the game’s Death Game Mode, an all-stakes mode giving players one chance to survive in this engaging new action RPG set in the popular SWORD ART ONLINE universe. In the game, players become a character they create to enter a VRMMORPG, where they ultimately discover perishing in the virtual world of the game means dying in the real world. Death Game Mode puts it all on the line, where they must survive this all-too-real life and death challenge in a single play through, with no respawns. Echoes of Aincrad launches on July 10 for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam®. Players can unlock Death Game Mode early with the purchase of Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the game.
