There is a dynamic discount for both editions: the current prices of the Standard Edition and the Founder’s Edition are $79.99 and $139.99 respectively. After the Early Access is launched, the prices will rise up to $89.99 and $149.99.
Korea is a next-generation game of the IL-2series. It is created on a new engine featuring updated damage and flight modeling.
Players will be able to fly eight aircraft of that era. They were recreated in great detail using real blueprints, photographs, and documents:
★ MiG-15bis
★ IL-10
★ Yak-9P
★ La-11
★ F-86A-5 Sabre
★ F-51D Mustang
★ F-80C-10 Shooting Star
★ F-84E Thunderjet
Apart from player-controllable aircraft, there are dozens of machines on the battlefield and in the air, such as B-29 bombers, as well as meticulously recreated ground vehicles, trains, and ships.
The action takes place on the largest map in the series’ history: more than 200,000 square kilometers. It is not a modern Korea but a region from the early 1950s that was reconstructed using historical documents. On the map, there are dozens of airbases with accurate layouts, hundreds of settlements, as well as ports and dams: all these places are connected by an extensive transport network.
