Now in the second year of its exciting transformation, Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles begins its season Saturday, May 23. Building on last year’s momentum, the park’s multimillion-dollar makeover is complete with great enhancements for guests and associates alike. Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles will open Saturdays and Sundays, May 23 through June 7 and Aug. 15 through Sept. 7, with daily operations taking place June 8-Aug. 9. The water park will also be open Memorial Day, Monday, May 25.

This season, Hurricane Harbor invites guests to experience the refreshed attractions and play areas, along with a streamlined arrival process and improved entry and in-park wayfinding for easier navigation. The park’s creative narrative reimagines the water park as a vibrant tropical island village, brought to life with the park’s iconic volcano now rumbling and emitting bursts of mist throughout the day. Guests will find enhanced comfort and amenities across the park, including extensive new landscaping, expanded shaded seating, a plethora of cabanas, perfect for relaxing between rides, and upgraded food and beverage, merchandise and restroom facilities.

Thrill seekers won’t want to miss Bonzai Pipelines, where a trap door gives way and sends sliders down 10 stories at nearly 90 degrees, or Tornado, a four-person raft adventure. For little swimmers, Splash Island offers 30,000 gallons of colorful water play complete with a central structure that features slides, water cannons and plenty of interactive features. And of course, the family fun continues with the 1,300-foot-long River Cruise and Forgotten Sea Wave Pool that mimics the ocean with its massive waves, offering a thrilling ocean experience within the park itself.
