Get ready to trade paint, wreck friendships, and send half-cars flying across the track! A massive new content update for Wreckfest is available now, bringing new vehicles, a brand-new racing venue, expanded tuning options, gameplay improvements, and major upgrades to vehicle physics and destruction systems.
The update introduces three new vehicles, including a ridiculous new half-car complete with a ragdoll driver, alongside with two new iconic European cars, the “Stahlwagen” and the “Valken”. Players can also tear through a brand-new US-based racing venue featuring three layouts: a full tarmac racing circuit, a contact-racing sprint track, and a high-speed oval built for absolute chaos. Seven new Challenge events have also been added.
For the first time, Wreckfest now features an in-depth tuning system, allowing players to customize brakes, suspension, gearing, steering, differential settings, and more. Tuning setups can be saved into presets and loaded later, even in multiplayer lobbies.
The update also delivers major improvements to visual damage and collision physics thanks to upgrades to the simulation engine, alongside improved tire simulation, more realistic tarmac handling, refined gameplay damage systems, and expanded scoring mechanics with new multi-tier impact ratings and spin scores.
A brand-new “Suicide Racing” game mode joins the carnage on the new oval track, while AI behavior, online functionality, UI systems, performance optimization, audio mixing, and stability have all received substantial improvements and refinements across the board.
