Publisher Kalypso Media and development studio The Dust S.A. have released a third developer diary, detailing the dark and intricate lore behind the world of the upcoming dark fantasy adventure game, The Inquisitor.

The video, entitled “The Worlds of the Inquisitor”, follows Game Designer Damian Pawlak, Writer Przemek Wróbel, and Head of Production Kuba Karolewski as they discuss the role of the Unworld, the Church, and the city of Koenigstein within the game.

The Inquisitor is a dark fantasy adventure game set in an alternate-history version of the 1500s in which Jesus did not die for our sins, but instead broke free from the cross and killed the non-believers. Players will take on the role of Mordimer Madderdin, an inquisitor in the service to the Church of Christ Vengeful.

The game will launch with a Digital Deluxe edition, including a high-quality Digital Compendium, detailing some of the many intricacies hidden within the game’s lore, Mordimer’s Grandmaster’s Attire, and the Original Soundtrack.

The Inquisitor launches February 8 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a special 10% launch discount PS Plus members who purchase the Standard and Deluxe Editions between February 8 and February 15.
