Blackbird Interactive and Focus Home Interactive’s acclaimed space sandbox salvaging game Hardspace: Shipbreaker has launched its newest free Steam Early Access content: the “Pretty Rad” update. The radiation elemental hazard has arrived on LYNX’s salvage bays, and you’ll need to protect yourself while extracting radiation filters from high-danger ships! And what luck, Hardspace: Shipbreaker is available for 30% off on Steam today for a limited time!

Radiation is unlike anything you’ve faced before in Hardspace: Shipbreaker, as exposure to it slowly drains your life and makes materials become brittle and decay. You must take extra care when moving things around after they’ve been irradiated… And did we mention they also become flammable?

Also included in this update is a refresh on the HAB UI, streamlining navigation and readability in preparation for the future hub rework. There have been improvements to the sticker system, as well, plus several other optimizations and bug fixes.

This new update expands the endlessly replayable Hardspace: Shipbreaker experience even further. Since early access began, the game has been packed with new content including bonus ships, tools, a reworked campaign and storyline, new customization options and many other changes based on the ever-growing community’s feedback.
