Six Flags Great Adventure has released their calendar of events for July, including the auditions for Fright Fest dancers and zombie performers!
Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags – June 30 to July 4
Six Flags and Coca-Cola are throwing the biggest July 4th celebration in the nation June 30 to July 4 at all U.S. Six Flags theme parks. Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags offers five days of patriotic fun and thrills including special ride times, parties, music, food, fireworks and more. In the July 4th Fest Zone, guests can enjoy cold beverage samples, fun games, giveaways and more. Guests can save $15 on admission by bringing a can of Coca-Cola, or save $26 using the promo code “Coke” when purchasing tickets online at least one day in advance.
- Early Ride Times – Daily June 30 to July 4
Guests can enjoy early morning thrills from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. by bringing a can of Coca-Cola or Coke Zero Sugar with an admission ticket, Season Pass or active Membership to obtain a wristband for ride access before the park opens to the public. - All-American Food Fest & Sampler Passports – Daily June 30 to July 4
No celebration is complete without food. The All-American Food Fest offers unique foods inspired by Coca-Cola beverages, including BBQ pulled pork, Coca-Cola wings and Coca-Cola chocolate cake; Jersey Classics like sausage and peppers, Jersey grilled corn, Jersey tomato caprese salad, Jersey beers and comfort classics like meatloaf mac & cheese, strawberry shortcake and sliders.
A Sampler Passport provides access to a wide variety of signature dishes and specialty drinks prepared by the best of the Six Flags Culinary Team, and exclusive access to the Coca-Cola After Party.

Six Flags ends the night with a bang as Coca-Cola presents a fireworks extravaganza along the Great Lake starting at 10 p.m.
- Coca-Cola July 4th Fest Foam Party – Nightly June 30 to July 4
Guests with park admission and a Sampler Passport or the July 4th Fest Limited Edition Patriotic Cup receive access to an exclusive Coca-Cola after party, the Coca-Cola July 4th Fest Foam Party. Following the fireworks, guests can keep the celebration going with a fun-filled foam party, music and exclusive ride time on SUPERMAN – Ultimate Flight, GREEN LANTERN, The Twister, Parachutes and even Go Karts and Sling Shot, which typically require an additional fee.
- Latin Concert – July 1
Join Zion y Lennox in concert at Six Flags July 1 as part of July 4th Fest presented by Coca-Cola. Show will take place in the Northern Star Arena at 7:30 p.m. Concert is free with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership.
- Salute America with USO Show Troupe – July 2, 3 & 4
USO Show Troupe to perform at Great Adventure on July 2, 3 & 4 at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. near THE JOKER along the Lakefront. Plus, join them for a special rendition of “God Bless America” before the evening fireworks display.
Fright Fest Dance Auditions – July 20 & 21
Great Adventure’s iconic show “Dead Man’s Party” is looking for exceptional dancers trained in jazz, musical theater, hip-hop and partnering. Open casting calls for the 20th anniversary production will take place July 20 at 7 p.m. and July 21 at 10 a.m. Dancers are encouraged to bring a variety of dance shoes, ready to learn choreography and freestyle with zombie spirit. Auditions will be hosted by Six Flags and choreographer Theresa Stone at Six Flags Great Adventure’s Showcase Theatre. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and should enter through the employee entrance on Route 537 (1 Six Flags Blvd., Jackson, NJ). Dancers should complete the pre-employment application before attending the casting call at www.sixflagsjobs.com.
Fright Fest Zombie and Specialty Performer Auditions – July 27 & 28
Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking individuals with a love for scaring as casting begins the 2018 Fright Fest season. Auditions begin July 27 at 6 p.m. and July 28 at 1 p.m. in the Employment Center. The Entertainment Department is looking for street zombies, haunted maze actors and performers with unique and unusual skills. Candidates should apply at www.sixflagsjobs.com prior to the open auditions and come prepared to participate in fun group exercises in front of a panel of judges. Specialty performers should come prepared to showcase their talents. No costumes, props or previous scare experience is required. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and should enter through the employee entrance on Route 537 (1 Six Flags Blvd., Jackson, NJ).
