Jackson, NJ — November 28, 2017 — Six Flags will attempt to break the record for world’s largest snowball fight. This national Six Flags Snow Day presented by Hallmark Channel will take place in Six Flags theme parks across North America Dec. 9. Guests can participate locally at Six Flags Great Adventure’s third-annual Holiday in the Park® at 12:30 p.m. eastern time.

The current world record of 8,200 participants was set in Canada last year. Six Flags aims to break the record with 9,000 participants.

Six Flags Great Adventure registration tables will open at 11:15 a.m., and guests will begin filling the Main Street Christmas section at 11:30 a.m. for the 12:30 p.m. record attempt. Up to 1,000 guests will receive one soft, indoor snow ball for tossing. Following the event, guests will enjoy exclusive ride time on several rides prior to the official park opening at 1 p.m.

The event is free with Season Pass, Membership and theme park admission. Guests can receive a 40% discount on general admission December 9 by bringing a new, unworn, warm winter clothing item as a donation to the Salvation Army. The offer is valid for up to four tickets and acceptable items include gloves, scarves, hats, coats, boots, heavy socks, sweatshirts, sweatpants, sleeping bags, quilts, blankets and pajamas.

Guests of all ages are welcome to participate. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign registration forms and photo releases. Guests will receive a participation certificate. For more information, visit https://www.sixflags.com/national/snow-day
