February 24, 2015 — We’re pleased to announce the online pre-registration details for QuakeCon 2015, which will take place in Dallas, TX on Thursday, July 23rd – Sunday, July 26th. We will be offering a number of premium packages for purchase through the show’s online pre-registration site, registration.quakecon.org.

Online pre-registration will open in a series of five stages. The ‘BYOC Select-a-Seat with UAC Command Center VIP Seating Package’ will make its QuakeCon debut and will become available on Wednesday, March 4th.  Full descriptions for each of the limited packages, and the dates they will become available are below.

Please note: Exhibitor registration is set to open on February 27th. Press registration will open on March 4th.

While general attendance remains free, attendees wishing to participate in the QuakeCon 2015 BYOC must pre-purchase one of the ‘BYOC Select-a-Seat’ packages through our online registration site to guarantee a seat. As ‘BYOC Select-a-Seat’ packages are limited and all seats will be accounted for prior to the show, we won’t have seats available on-site or on a first-come-first serve basis. Once the packages sell out, we’ll be giving people the opportunity to win a limited number of BYOC seats via social media giveaways, contests, and via our event partners leading up to the show. LOS ANGELES (Feb. 24, 2015) – Square Enix Inc., publishers of SQUARE ENIX interactive entertainment products in the Americas, announced its game lineup for the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East 2015 in Boston (March 6-8, 2015). February 24, 2015 — Hot on the tracks of the recent Chi-Nu Kai tank, Wargaming today introduced the Imperial Steel update for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, bringing a brand new line of Japanese tanks to the game. Console tankers can now advance through the Japanese Tech Tree and engage the enemy on the newest map, “Sacred Valley”.

The Imperial Steel adds an impressive thirteen new vehicles to tanker arsenals. The Japanese Tech Tree will initially field two branches with nine medium and four light tanks available for battle. Players can now command the following light tanks: the R. Otsu, the Ha-Go, the Ke-Ni and the Ke-Ho. Additionally, powerful Japanese medium tanks roll into the fray, with the Chi-Ni, STA-1, Type 61 Chi-Ri and more at tank commander’s disposal. Medium tank commanders can now gain a competitive edge whether it is through their vehicle’s agility or the impressive rate of fire the Japanese mediums deliver.

A new Japanese battleground unfolds for tankers with the arrival of the “Sacred Valley” map. An abandoned village at the bottom of a serene-looking valley provides great cover for tanks of all sizes while bringing the opportunity for intense, short-range skirmishes. The map is bordered by cliffs, and the advantageous high ground will let long-range gunners rain the destruction on any tank unlucky enough to enter into their gun sights.

Valve Revealing New Steam Hardware at GDC

February 23, 2015 – Valve will show a family of new Steam devices at next week’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, CA. Products being demonstrated at GDC include Steam Machines with the final Steam Controller, new living room devices, and a previously-unannounced SteamVR hardware system.

Developers and publishers interested in experiencing the new SteamVR hardware may request to schedule a GDC demo at http://www.steampowered.com/universe.

GDC 2015 will mark the 13th anniversary of Valve’s first public announcement of Steam, which has since become the leading platform for PC, Mac, and Linux games and software.

In the last year, Steam added new services and features – including In-Home Streaming, Broadcasting, Music, and user created stores – as it grew to over 125 million active accounts worldwide.

Steam now offers 4500 games, with 400 million pieces of user-generated content contributed by members of the Steam Community.

Dying Light Inspires a Live-Action Short-Film The Last Supply Drop

February 23th, 2015 – Warsaw, Poland/ How much of Dying Lightcould actually be recreated in film? This question inspired Techland and Flying Carpet Studio to create a live-action short-film “The Last Supply Drop” which was released today. Telling a story about four quarantine survivors’ last ditch attempt to get to an air-drop full of crucial supplies, the video brings Dying Light key gameplay features to the real life, including parkour movement, car traps, and the fan-favorite dropkick attacks.

Dying Light is available worldwide in digital form with box copies also available in North and South America. The physical release in Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania is set for the 27th of February 2015.

The Great Horror Campout Presents Friday the 13th Screening
