CARLSBAD, Calif. – Razer™, a leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced the availability for pre-order of Razer Forge TV, the critically-acclaimed Android TV micro-console, and Razer Serval, the accompanying Bluetooth game controller. Razer Forge TV won eight awards in January at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show, including two coveted “Best of CES” awards.
Razer Forge TV ($99.99) and Razer Serval (bundled with Forge TV, $149.99; $79.99, separately) are available now online at RazerStore and Amazon. Both products will begin shipping within two weeks for North America.
“Razer Forge TV is unique, allowing users to experience the very best of Android gaming, entertainment streaming and, later this year, hardcore PC gaming, from the living room,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “It’s a terrific value. Our advancements in the development community make Razer Forge TV the definitive console for a burgeoning Android TV experience.”
Razer began distribution of Razer Forge TV hardware development kits to Android programmers this year, most recently at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. The device will ship with three games preloaded: Modern Combat 5: Blackout, BombSquad, and Age of Zombies.
