Bullseye-Camera-System

Bullseye Camera Systems makes a line of remote cameras and software designed to electronically record and track your shots while doing target practice with both real steel or airsoft guns. Taking the various components out of the nice, black carrying case Bullseye provided the system to us in, I was sure that setting up the system was going to be a nightmare. It generates a Wi-Fi network which your tablet, smartphone, or laptop can connect to using the Bullseye Camera Software. Out of the box, you will pull a:

  • – Weatherproof camera w/night vision
  • – 5-hour rechargeable USB battery
  • – Router and Antenna
  • – Tripod and connectors
  • – Secure carrying case
  • – Bullseye Target Manager Software

The most amazing thing about this whole system, however, was that in order to make it work – all I had to do was plug the two USB cables coming from the camera and into the USB power box – that’s it. The cables already come hooked up to the router box and, within about fifteen seconds, the Bullseye Wi-Fi SSID appeared in my iPhone 5’s wireless network list. I was absolutely blown away by how user-friendly the Bullseye Camera System is to hook up. The fact that it plugs into a USB power box with a rated usage of 5 hours before needing recharging (and an AC adapter for the USB power block) means that you can have it all the way down range sans a plug outlet and the system will work to spec. In fact, this model of Bullseye Camera System is rated at 500 yards of range!

[ezcol_1half]Pros

  • The entire system is a breeze to setup – even for the not-so tech savvy
  • Automatic nightvision mode on camera
  • Laser attached to camera makes aiming at the target area easy
  • The Windows app is extremely functional

[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Cons

  • Shot/target images saved to camera roll on iOS app are only 640×480
  • Might be a bit out of many airsoft players’ price ranges

Overall, the Bullseye Camera System is an excellent tool for gauging your accuracy with both real steel and airsoft guns. After getting the chance to play around with it for a while, I think it is a no-brainer for hunters looking to zero in their optics, law enforcement agencies, tactical training companies, airsoft players – you name it. Being able to remotely view your target up close makes the often times difficult task of zeroing in optics for your airsoft rifles very simple.
