Bethsoft and Splash Damage Reveal Brink Teaser Trailer

Bethsoft and Splash Damage have teamed up on what looks to be a very interesting title called ‘Brink’. Not too much is known yet, but the two entities just released the first ever teaser trailer for the game tonight! The trailer, and the official site, seem to indicate a futuristic setting called ‘The Ark’ but it is not known whether this ‘Ark’ is on Earth or some other planet.

Due out in early 2010, we expect to see more of this title next week when we cover the 2009 E3 expo in Los Angeles, so stay-tuned!

Microsoft Launches Xbox E3 Page

Fans of Xbox news rejoice! Microsoft has launched its official Xbox E3 website today that will no doubt give you all the behind the scenes scoops. You can currently watch a behind the scenes video featuring Major Nelson, visit the forums, and check out a behind the scenes blog.

The big reveal will come June 1st (the date of the Microsoft Presser) when the red curtain will show the surprises behind it!

The Conduit – Commuter Nightmare Trailer Released

High Voltage Software has released a new trailer for their upcoming shooter, The Conduit. A Nintendo Wii exclusive, The Conduit features a proprietary game engine designed with the soul purpose of giving the game visuals comparable to those seen on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles. The Conduit is due out June 23rd in North America.

New Darkest of Days Screenshots

Some new screenshots have been released for Phantom EFX’s upcoming time-travel shooter, Darkest of Days. In the game, the player will travel to various battles throughout the course of history and change the outcomes or save an individual who had died in the hopes of making a better world for the present. Is time travel safe? Should you mess with the timeline? Probably not on both counts, but this would make for a much less exciting experience. Darkest of Days is scheduled to release this fall on Windows PCs.

Kojima Teaser Reveals Face of Big Boss

Not only is the countdown timer we have been watching at the teaser site for Kojima’s next project concluded with yet another countdown timer, but now we are privy to a new letter sequence as well as the dead-giveaway flash of Big Boss’ face! Well, it looks a ton like Big Boss, so we are going with it until we hear otherwise.

The letters also read PS3 (or P53 but that makes less sense). All this definitely adds up to a new MGS title, but it remains to be seen whether or not it will focus on Snake or someone else. Also, if the letter sequence is right it looks to be a PS3 (timed) exclusive.

E3 is right around the corner so stay-tuned!

Kojima’s Secret Project Hinted With Silhouette

The above image was pulled from Kombo and is apparently hinting at the June 18th issue of PSW magazine. The image displays the silhouette of what we are assuming to be the protagonist of Hideo Kojima’s upcoming mystery title.

We have been assuming his mystery title to be the next Metal Gear Solid game, but the figure above does not resemble anything based in our current reality. The character has a knife of some kind attached to his/her waist as well as what appear to be medieval-style spaulders.
