CompUSA, which used to be one of the leading computer retailers in the U.S., has been unable to stay competitive even after closing 126 retail outlets last February.  Attempts to sell the chain to Circuit City and several others have been unsuccessful, so the retailer will begin selling off it’s inventory and other assets during the holiday season.  Substantial markdowns on merchandise can be had for those close enough to one of the stores.  For others it may be time to consider a ‘road trip’?
