NACON and Eko Software are pleased to announce the release of the second major update for Dragonkin: The Banished, the fantasy medieval Hack ’n’ Slash currently available in Early Access on PC. Available tomorrow, the 16th of September, this new update introduces a brand-new character, an unexplored environment, expanded endgame mechanics, and many other additions inspired both by community feedback and the developers’ vision.
Dragonkin: The Banished is already available in Early Access on Steam and will also launch on consoles at its final release.
A richer endgame and formidable enemies
In order to satisfy both current players and genre enthusiasts, this update significantly expands the endgame with the introduction of new Hunt missions in the Erde-Nor region, including a showdown against the Red Dragon Lord. Chaos Hunts now offer more depth thanks to the new Draconic Tarot system, which lets players influence the conditions of their expeditions with customizable buffs and debuffs. Another major addition is the arrival of a new category of enemies: Champions. Stronger and more challenging to defeat, they enrich combat with fresh mechanics- along with rewards worthy of the effort.
Four playable classes
To give players even more options, the Tracker is now playable and brings her own unique gameplay. This new class will appeal to players seeking dynamism: halfway between an archer and an assassin, she favors playstyles based on anticipation, speed, and decisive combos. Her signature ability is Targeting, a unique skill that allows her to tag enemies and hunt them down.
Since Hack ’n’ Slash fans love customizing their characters, two new abilities have also been added to each of the other classes, further expanding gameplay possibilities. The Knight gains versatility with a ranged basic attack and a defensive skill that heals allies. The Oracle gains new powers that allow her to control distance against enemies or create openings in combat. As for the Barbarian, he now benefits from stronger defensive options. His new basic skill gives him more ranged flexibility, enabling effective mid-range builds.
Explore the volcanic lands of Erde-Nor
In-game content has grown considerably. The arid Erde-Nor region is now open to players, featuring four new maps and a dungeon. This environment promises thrilling battles against the fierce creatures that inhabit it. Among them is the Wyvern, an ancient scorpion transformed by the absorption of Dragon Blood, which will prove a formidable opponent.
A better experience for all players
To better welcome new players, the game’s introduction and Prologue have been completely reworked to deliver a more engaging and fast-paced start to the adventure. The highly requested Loot Filter is now available, letting players automatically sort items according to their preferences. Another awaited feature has also been added: the Death Recap, which allows players to analyse mistakes by reviewing the final seconds before their last fall. Many quality-of-life and interface improvements have also been made to enhance the overall experience.
Finally, Dragonkin is offering a new free cosmetic DLC: Founder Pack 3, now available on Steam.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, players embody one of three available dragon hunters with the objective of freeing humanity from the invading draconic forces. To meet this challenge, the game offers deep theory crafting through various character enhancement mechanics, giving enthusiasts endless build possibilities. Players develop their hero’s abilities through a unique skill system called the Ancestral Grid by associating fragments obtained during their adventure. They also benefit from the City of Montescail, a true hub that allows them to implement their strategy thanks to numerous services. Accompanied by their faithful dragonling, they discover an intriguing story as well as an endgame rich in activities and especially epic battles.
MicroProse is proud to announce that it will publish Darkenstein 3D, a retro-inspired first-person shooter created by a dedicated solo developer.
The game will launch as free to own on October 21st, 2025, bringing brutal, skill-based action to everyone at no cost.
Built as both a tribute and an evolution of classics like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Darkenstein 3D blends pure old-school skill-based combat with modern twists in physics, gore, and environmental chaos. It’s fierce, funny, and ferocious — everything fans of retro shooters crave.
“I spent years immersed in games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Enemy Territory, making maps for the latter as well as Quake 3. Darkenstein 3D is my way of bringing that same fast, chaotic energy back. It is a raw shooter that lives between the first FPS classics like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D and the modern era. Louder, bloodier, silly, and built to be played hard.” said Rowye, creator of Darkenstein 3D.
For Honor’s latest season, Downfall, is out now bringing a new limited-time game mode, Hero skin for the Nobushi, Cross-Progression, and more. The new Hero skin is Lady Saori, a fierce warrior who once defended her castle from a treacherous attack by any means necessary.
The new mode, Bitter End, is the last phase of Breach, an asymmetric PvP mode where four Defenders must try to keep their NPC Lady Saori ally alive while four Attackers try to take her out. Attackers will have a limited amount of respawns and win by defeating Lady Saori. Defenders can win by depleting the Attackers’ respawns and then killing them one last time. Bitter End will also come with a free Event Pass, called Nightmare’s Dawn, featuring a unique Outfit, Mood Effect, and Ornament and lasts until Nightmare’s Dawn ends on October 2.
Downfall also coincides with the introduction of Cross-Progression in For Honor. Starting today, players will be able to merge all of their accounts and progression into a unified account accessible through their Ubisoft Connect account. This means that if you played For Honor on one platform in the past, but have switched to another, you can pick up your old account right where you left it and keep all the progress you make wherever you decide to play For Honor.
Finally, Centurion, Peacekeeper, Shinobi, and Berserker will all have new feats available in the Testing Grounds and Year 5 Season 3 rewards will be available through the Legacy Pass.
For Honor is available on Ubisoft+, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

We pushed ourselves to make the impossible possible, and that’s why we’re releasing the game a little earlier. I can’t wait to see players’ reactions when they finally step into the world of The Beast.”

Since its release on Sept. 5, Cronos: The New Dawn has captivated players and critics alike with its atmospheric world, intense survival horror mechanics, and haunting narrative. Now, following a successful global launch across PC (Steam, GOG, Epic), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, Bloober Team is marking the occasion with the release of a brand-new accolades trailer.
The trailer highlights glowing reviews and critical acclaim from top industry outlets, underscoring Cronos: The New Dawn as a bold new entry in the survival horror genre.
Set against the eerie, post-industrial backdrop of New Dawn — a city inspired by Nowa Huta, the historic socialist district of Kraków — the game spans two haunting timelines: a crumbling post-apocalyptic future and the oppressive, concrete-clad 1980s. This dual narrative fuses retro realism with dystopian sci-fi, creating a retro-futuristic world teeming with psychological dread and environmental storytelling.
A third-person survival horror experience, Cronos: The New Dawn invites players to unravel the mystery of a shattered world, face their fears, and confront the unknown — all while navigating shifting realities, scarce resources, and chilling encounters.
With its unique setting, narrative depth, and a distinct artistic vision, Cronos: The New Dawn signals a new era for Bloober Team — one where emotional horror meets existential terror on an unforgettable scale.
