New City Layout: The City features a more accessible and convenient layout helping players get on the court faster than ever. No matter where they are standing, players can see just about every area in The City and quickly go from one place to another. On PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S, players will be able to experience a smooth experience with more fluid movement and camera panning as The City will now run at 60 frames per second for the first time ever.
Season Parks: Park makes a return with bold new features to make every season and even every day a new experience. A new Park will be introduced every season including HD remasters of all four iconic NBA 2K16 MyPARKs and will feature a realistic aesthetic with more natural and grounded real-world environments. Players can compete to become the Park MVP, go on a hot streak and get their name stamped right on the court for everyone to see or break a team’s winning streak and earn more VC with the Streak Breaker bonus. Upon launch, Season 1’s Park is a brand new locale called Skyline Park, set in a magnificent urban environment that captures the essence of hooping and competing on your favorite neighborhood courts.
All-New Crews: Players can gather their friends and community members and create their own Crew, complete with their own logo and Crew level displayed in their MyPLAYER nameplate. Players can keep their Crew small with close friends or allow up to 50 players to join. As players ball with their Crew and complete weekly goals they will rise through the ranks of all 30 Crew levels and earn rewards in the process including Custom Crew logos, Custom branded Crew clothing, VC or REP multipliers and more!
Leaderboards & Statues: Scattered throughout The City, the all-new leaderboards will highlight the best of best in a number of new categories. New Mode leaderboards track and spotlight the players with the most wins across various modes and a 12-foot statue of the number one ranked MyPLAYER in each mode will appear outside of that mode’s building for ultimate bragging rights. Players can compete to become the top ranked player in their respective region with the all-new Geo Rank leaderboard and earn a custom show-off flair shown during their pre-game intro. Crew leaderboards lets everyone know which Crew is currently the best in The City.
Pro-AM Summit: The City will also feature the Pro-AM Summit twice a season, where players can compete in 3v3 or 5v5 tournaments to earn elite rewards.
Street Kings: The new Street Kings mode offers players a place to sharpen their skills and battle against skilled CPU bosses. The Street Kings location takes over NBA 2K25’s Streetball courts, compacting them into one convenient location that features an impressive collegiate-style Roman-inspired architecture.

The in-game music event delivers an electrifying KISS-themed experience. This year, Metal Fest rolls out four one-of-a-kind Premium tanks, each inspired by a classic KISS character: The Demon, The Starchild, The Spaceman, and The Catman. These machines bring pure KISS energy to the battlefield. The Demon wields a hellish flamethrower, The Starchild unloads fast-and-furious damage with a three-round autoloader, The Spaceman blasts in with rocket boosters to “fly” across the battlefield, and The Catman’s guns scratch and claw through enemies with lightning speed. As an encore, each KISS Premium tank will blast “Rock and Roll All Nite” when players select it in the garage.
“Metal Fest in World of Tanks Modern Armor is pure rock ’n’ roll mayhem,” said Gene Simmons, founding member of KISS. “We’re bringing fire, power, and pure adrenaline. When KISS shows up, you know it’s going to be epic.”
The KISS experience goes full throttle, way beyond the tanks. All four KISS personas come alive as fully animated 3D Hero Commanders, complete with custom voiceover. Gene Simmons powers The Demon, while Paul Stanley brings The Starchild to life. Players can also set up their favorite tanks and customizable garages with 2D Standard Commanders representing the band members as well as their fans, Emblems, Inscriptions, and themed Garage Gear, cranking up the energy around every match.
As Andy Dorizas, Art Director for World of Tanks Modern Armor, explains “All the designs for the Commanders were a group effort with a lot of input from KISS. It was my idea to give The Demon wings—something over the top that captured Gene’s persona while nodding to his iconic style. KISS pushed us to fully embrace the fantastical elements of each character. This is KISS reimagined for commanding tanks, each with a look unlike anything seen before.”
For the first time in its three-year history, Metal Fest is introducing an all-new “Rush the Stage” mode on a map designed especially for this event. The mode will run for two weeks, with players charging into battle in World War II tanks during the first week and Cold War tanks during the second. The objective is to capture three bases and destroy enemy tanks to earn points—the first team to reach 1,000 points wins and takes home great prizes! For those who prefer to play solo, a dedicated Personal Challenge will be available, offering a variety of exclusive KISS-branded rewards and discounts.

Train Sim World 6 is coming! Following the initial reveal of the title in July, today Dovetail Games hosted the Dovetail Direct showcase, officially announcing all the shiny new trains, routes and features that train fans can look forward to when the game arrives. Train Sim World 6 launches on Sept. 30, 2025 (Sept. 25 for Deluxe/Special Edition pre-orders), for Windows PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems and is available to pre-order now!
This year, players can “Expect the Unexpected” with a key new feature: the introduction of toggleable random events and train faults to ensure no two services ever feel the same. From signal delays to speed restrictions, players must stay alert to overcome unpredictable challenges. The game will guide players through resolving these unpredictable events, to get back under way and on to their destinations.
Continuing the “unexpected” theme are new routes and trains for the series. In the USA, it’s off to the east coast with NJ TRANSIT® through the New Jersey suburbs in both ageing and modern traction. UK players can experience the thrill of coastal running along the Riviera Line, often described as one of the most beautiful stretches of railway in Britain. This route also marks the long-awaited return of the GWR brand to the series. In Europe, players can drive beyond the horizon between Dresden and Leipzig, Europe’s largest railway station, with a full variety of freight, passenger, high-speed and shunting services available.
For the first time, brand-new trains will be available in the Deluxe Edition for all three routes: the much-requested CrossCountry Voyager, dual-power ALP-45 locomotive and hefty BR 294 shunter. The Special Edition includes all content from the Standard and Deluxe Editions, plus five back catalogue routes and their respective trains spanning a wider selection of countries, including Austria, the Netherlands and Wales.
Adding to the immersion is the full implementation of passenger and platform announcements, with station stops and train departures audibly declared in the three core routes.
Matt Peddlesden, Train Sim World 6’s Executive Producer, said, “We’ve been keen to listen to players in our recent surveys and feedback to give them the features and content they’ve been asking for. Random events and audible announcements have been at the top of their list for some time, and we can’t wait for players to experience them in new routes and trains that they’ve also been requesting.”
Players will be able to try Train Sim World 6 for free with the game’s Free Starter Pack, available from launch until November 11, 2025. This includes steam, diesel and electric locomotives within the Training Center demo route, along with tutorials and tasks to complete.
In addition, today’s showcase announced that the series will also be exploring new horizons with several future Train Sim World 6 add-ons, covering routes in new countries such as Portugal and Czechia, as well as a new route in the USA and a first look at gameplay for the Japanese Tadami Line.
