About Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
In this story-driven RPG adapted from the fifth edition of Vampire: The Masquerade, you play as three vampires, each a member of a different clan in the Camarilla, the secret society that governs most vampires. Through the characters’ intertwined destinies, players must contend with their different viewpoints to separate the truth from the lies. While navigating rumours of conspiracies, murders and power struggles, players must protect their clan, uncover the truth and, above all, ensure that the Masquerade – the vampire law that hides their existence from humans – remains unbreeched.
In the upcoming Alone in the Dark, players can choose between two protagonists to experience the haunting story: Emily Hartwood and Edward Carnby. To bring these two iconic characters to life, the developers partnered up with famous actors Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, Free Guy) and David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow), who will lend their voices, their appearance, and their formidable acting skills to the protagonists. Depending on who you play, you will get a different take on the same story. You can see both of them in action in the new spotlight video, showcasing a ton of gameplay.
We hope you are not trembling with fear now, because we have more shocking news to share: Alone in the Dark is launching on October 25th, 2023 on PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation®5, and will be available at an SRP of €59.99 / $59.99 / £49.99. Today Focus Entertainment and Tindalos Interactive, in collaboration with 20th Century Games, revealed a new gameplay overview trailer which offers fans a deeper dive into Aliens: Dark Descent. The video’s in-depth footage and commentary showcases the narrative, protagonists, and gameplay mechanics of the upcoming strategic, real-time, squad-based tactical action game set in the iconic Alien universe. Aliens: Dark Descent releases June 20 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
You are the commander, your squad is your weapon
Aliens: Dark Descent features a fully fledged tactical campaign filled with tense moments, deep strategy, and terrifying revelations. As you explore further, you’ll progress in a complex story and attempt to solve the mysteries of Planet Lethe. Players will manage their squad as a single unit, thanks to innovative and intuitive controls on both keyboard/mouse and controller. Marines react intelligently to orders thanks to a unique Squad Behavior System that dispatches them automatically on the field. When the Xenomorph threat gets overwhelming, they can slow down time at any moment to focus on tactical decisions in the heat of battle.
Marines are well-equipped to alter their environment and deal with hostiles. Flamethrowers can be used to engulf corridors and condemn enemy paths. Suppressive fire is effective at slowing down your enemies, and sentry guns are best used to sustain tough encounters while making sure not to run out of resources.
Every run is unique as the Xenomorphs adapt to player behavior and action. Each choice remains unaltered as players explore extensive, open and persistent levels. Managing the squad’s health and stress levels is equally as important as clearing objectives. And remember, when a Marine dies, they are permanently gone for good.
After each mission, players return to their ship, the Otago: a hub to heal and recruit Marines, as well as to research and develop new tech that improves gear. With five Marine classes available, assign a role to each of your Marines and create a stronger squad to explore further down and battle against an onslaught of iconic Xenomorph creatures.
Gear up and discover the source of a strange and dire threat in Aliens: Dark Descent on June 20 when the game releases on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Digital and retail pre-orders are open for all platforms. For more information, visit the Focus Entertainment website.

Today, at The PlayStation Showcase event, Remedy Entertainment and Epic Games unveiled a brand new gameplay trailer and announced that Alan Wake 2, the long-awaited and highly anticipated sequel to the studio’s award-winning psychological thriller will launch on October 17. Alan Wake 2 will be available digitally for PC on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders for Alan Wake 2 are now available.
The trailer introduces Saga Anderson (played by Melanie Liburd), an accomplished FBI agent with a reputation for solving impossible cases, who arrives to investigate murders in the small town community of Bright Falls in the Pacific Northwest. Anderson’s case spirals into a nightmare when she discovers pages of a horror story that starts to come true and questions how it may be connected to missing writer Alan Wake, whose own dark story eerily mirrors her own.
“Alan Wake 2 is an intense story and a layered mystery that takes players on two disturbing journeys, running in parallel and echoing each other in strange and unexpected ways,” said Sam Lake, Creative Director and Lead Writer of Alan Wake 2. “A newcomer to Alan Wake’s world, FBI Agent Saga Anderson’s investigation offers players a unique lens into this survival horror experience.”
Alan Wake 2 pushes players into a psychological horror story from the perspective of two playable characters. Saga Anderson risks her life to solve a deadly mystery of murders in the Pacific Northwest while Alan Wake attempts to rewrite his reality to escape the depths of the Dark Place, a nightmare version of New York City.
Taking full advantage of the power of current consoles and PC, and driven by Remedy Entertainment’s proprietary Northlight engine, players will take on powerful supernatural enemies in desperate situations filled with intense suspense and unexpected twists. Anderson and Wake are two heroes on two desperate journeys in two separate realities, connected at heart in ways neither of them can understand.
More details and insight from the team at Remedy Entertainment can be found in a post on the official site.
The best-selling and critically acclaimed original Alan Wake received multiple Game of the Year awards and followed the titular protagonist on a desperate search for his missing wife. As he discovered pages of a horror story he had supposedly written, author Alan Wake was forced to question his sanity as, page by page, the story came true before his eyes. Remedy and Epic Games Publishing have released a modern remaster of the title, Alan Wake Remastered, for PC on the Epic Games Store and on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One consoles.
