Total War: Pharaoh Hittite Deep Dive Trailer

An empire divided. In Anatolia, the once mighty kingdom of Hatti crumbles as civil war and a great family feud between two rival cousins plunge it into darkness. Here, blood doesn’t run thicker than water; will you command their last Great King, or will you rally behind a usurper who believes themselves to be the avatar of a god?

Learn the ways of the Hittite factions here: https://pharaoh.totalwar.com/news/hittite-factions/

REBUILD OR TEAR DOWN A GREAT EMPIRE:

  • Suppiluliuma, the Defender, was the last Great King of the Hittite Empire. He has but one aim and that is to rebuild and defend Hatti from insurgents both from within and outside of his borders. As such, he is a very defensive character, commanding legions of heavy and medium armored units, including powerful chariots. What his armies lack in agility, they more than make up for in raw power.
  • Kurunta, the Usurper, wants what his cousin values most – the throne of Hatti. He intends to grow in power, take the Hittite Empire for his own, and inflict misery upon those who would dare stand against him. Unbound by conscience and believing that warfare exists without rules, he seeks to exploit any given opportunity, enacting sabotage and subterfuge to exploit weakness outside of battle. Either join his new kingdom or be sacrificed in his glory.

A WALL OF NIGH IMPENETRABLE POWER
If the Egyptians were the surgical knife of Bronze Age warfare, then the Hittites are the wall of near-impenetrable iron. As such, they are normally found deploying much heavier units than their Egyptian and Canaanite counterparts, and they specialize fighting in the heavy rains, thunderstorms, and fogs of Anatolia. Their two primary fighting traits are Mistwalker, which allows units to traverse fog unseen, and Storm Warrior, with which units suffer less penalties when fighting in rain or thunderstorms.

High On Life High on Knife DLC Release Date Trailer

Squanch Games is thrilled to announce the High on Knife DLC for its breakout hit High On Life will launch on October 3 for all platforms. High On Knife gives Knifey his chance to shine (and stab) on a fully realized new planetary environment loaded with all-new characters, hazards, and spooky surprises.

“We really leaned into horror with High On Knife, so it only made sense to launch it around Halloween,” says Mike Fridley, Squanch’s Studio Director. “The DLC brings more goop, nastier body horror, creepier bosses, and all kinds of strange new stuff to the world we established with High On Life.”

Squanch released an all-new stop-motion teaser trailer that highlights the DLC’s creepy vibes and showcases the new gross-out trading cards you can collect – created by the legendary Joe Simko, the illustrator known for his work with [ICONIC TRADING CARD IP].

High On Knife introduces a pair of brand-new talking gun characters, too. Harper, voiced by Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live), is an ex-military pistol who’s trying to come to terms with her traumatic past. And then there‘s B.A.L.L., which is a pinball-inspired gun operated by a coordinated group of little guys who are doing their best. Players have to explore a creepy new sci-fi setting while being hunted by Mux, a mysterious new boss voiced by the incomparable Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story, Precious).

High On Life, now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store; Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles; and with Xbox Game Pass on console, PC, and cloud, has surpassed more than 7.5 million unique players worldwide since its launch in mid-December. High On Life was the top seller on Steam during launch week, the biggest Xbox Game Pass release of 2022, the biggest 3rd party launch in Game Pass history, and the biggest single-player game launch on Game Pass ever.

High On Life follows the misadventures of an unmotivated high-school graduate who becomes Earth’s last hope following an alien invasion. These interstellar invaders are on a constant search for their next intoxicating experience, and, unfortunately, they discover that humans provide an exquisite high. The only solution is to become a bounty hunter, tracking down the kingpins in the alien cartel to stop their horrifying harvest. It makes sense in context, OK?!

Step into gothic-era Boston as the eponymous self-proclaimed detective to experience the deep mauve haze, sinister spires, foreboding footpaths, and unnerving reverberations of Limbo. As Benedict you will delve further into oblivion, in a journey to uncover the truth behind a mystifying family tragedy while answering to the whims of a demon that possesses his soul. Explore the arcane realms of life and death in the universe of Limbo as far as your psyche will allow, but beware, this case can easily consume you… leaving behind a never-ending and nightmarish comatose in its wake. Will this case be solved or will you succumb to insanity?

Players of the original release on PC and Xbox Series S/X praised Fox’s rich atmosphere, compelling narrative, and clever puzzles, but some critics raised issues with the game’s slower-paced combat and platforming mechanics. The PlayStation 5 version, considered the definitive edition, boasts dramatic control and speed improvements to combat and platforming gameplay, which, combined, significantly better the experience. Furthermore, enhancements to visuals, UI, enemy AI, puzzles, and more have also been introduced alongside new gameplay features.

“These are substantial, meaningful gameplay and visual improvements that take what was already an absolutely gorgeous, extremely engaging Metroidvania to new heights on PlayStation 5,” said Rogue CEO Matt Casamassina.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox Gameplay Features:

  • Descend into Limbo – Benedict Fox’s bond with his demon companion allows him to descend into the consciousness of a deceased person, placing him into the world of Limbo. The mind is a dangerous place – with powerful emotions and painful memories! As the detective uncovers more clues, Limbo shifts and danger lurks.
  • Demon-Enhanced Combat System – Players will encounter ruthless and dangerous enemies on their journey to solve the case. Utilize a combination of various objects, environmental surroundings, weapons, and traversal abilities to overcome danger that awaits.
