Foxhole Gets Airborne Update on February 9th

A new era for Foxhole will begin on Feb 9 with the launch of Airborne, an update that expands the persistent online war into the skies. Airborne introduces air-based warfare, combining it with land and naval gameplay to create a seamless online battlefield. Prepare for aircraft operations, aviation logistics, paratroopers, a naval refresh, and a vastly expanded world reimagined with upgraded visuals.

As part of the Airborne update, players can build and operate squadrons of recon planes, fighters, bombers, and other specialized aircraft, taking part in air-to-air battles, bombing runs, and supply line disruption. Every pilot, gunner, and crewman is a player working in various roles. Aircraft are produced, armed, and repaired by player-based ground crews using production facilities, hangars, and airfields in the world.

The update also introduces paratroopers, allowing squads to deploy behind hostile lines to disrupt enemy logistics and infrastructure. Naval forces have received a refresh with new ships and the addition of the aircraft carrier, which enables aircraft to launch and conduct missions from offshore locations. These features are supported by new multi-region islands and expanded maritime areas, which increase the depth and scope of both naval and air engagements.

Key Features:

  • Air Warfare: Air-based operations with player crewed fighters, bombers, and other aircraft
  • Aircraft Logistics: Aircraft production and ground crew gameplay for repairing and rearming planes
  • Air Defense: Recon planes, radar installations, and anti-air emplacements for detecting and defending against air raids
  • Paratroopers: Airborne deployments behind enemy lines
  • Naval Update: New ships classes and aircraft carriers for offshore air missions
  • World Expansion & Visuals: New islands, maritime regions, and upgraded visuals

Brand New Torchlight: Infinite Season Launches Today

XD Games is thrilled to announce that Vorax – the latest Torchlight: Infinite season – is now available worldwide on PC and mobile.

Watch the Torchlight: Infinite Season Preview below:

Vorax brings a plethora of additions to Torchlight: Infinite, including enemy monsters that have become infected with Vorax Syndrome. Players can collect this season’s currency, Vorax Substance, from these monsters once they’re defeated. Players can then access the Surgical Preparation menu, wherein monster rarity, quantity and – most importantly – activity can be increased using Vorax Substance. Loot drops scale depending on the total activity across all monster types, encouraging players to face off with more powerful monsters in order to get better rewards.

Other ways to bag higher value loot include taking on the large, fast, and rare invading enemy Scavengers. If players want elites and Scavengers to interrupt their runs more often, they can activate the difficulty-increasing Scalpels. These enhancers don’t consume Compass slots, and give players more opportunity to earn high-tier rewards.

A new crafting system called Grafting has also come to Torchlight: Infinite. This is the most flexible crafting system the game has ever seen, allowing players to combine stats that usually can’t exist on the same item. During the season, players can find Vorax Limbs, which are crafting bases that come with unique stats, and they can create gear that ignores attribute pools. Additionally, legendary gear can now be broken down, and its unique power can be extracted into a Core Organ mod, which can be grafted onto gear of the player’s choosing. Up to two legendary mods, with no slot restrictions, can be grafted onto a single piece of gear.

Watch “Vendetta’s Sting” Erika Hero Trailer below:

This update also adds a new Hero trait for Cateye Erika called Vendetta’s Sting. This trait is all about speed, dashing around – and through – enemies, dealing melee damage while in constant motion. Players more interested in spellcasters can avail of the new Tangle mechanic available to those heroes. Tangle involves casting a parasite-like spell that attaches itself to an enemy, dealing damage over and over for a duration of time.

A whole host of quality of life improvements are also included in this update. The UI has been tweaked to improve readability: the main interface, the trade house, the inventory, the netherrealm, and the skill system all look cleaner and sharper now, while equipment icons have been redesigned for visual clarity. In addition to all that, heroes Rehan, Carino and Gemma have had their models revamped. Likewise, a number of monster models have been altered, and combat effects overhauled, in order to provide the most spectacular visual feedback possible in Torchlight: Infinite.

For a full breakdown of everything new to the game during the Vorax season, watch the Torchlight: Infinite: Season Preview.

Torchlight: Infinite is available now on PC, iOS, and Android.

Strategy Roguelite Nonentity Galaxy Launches Feb 3

The darkly humorous corporate satire Nonentity Galaxy, developed by Brick-Up Studio and published by 2P Games, will release on Steam on February 3, 2026 18:00 PST with a price of $9.99 and a 10% launch discount during the first two weeks. Players who buy the game will also get for free: existential crisis, dystopian poverty and a very small possibility of overcoming systemic oppression and rising as a warlord. But hey, faith is the substance of things, isn’t it?

Nonentity Galaxy is a roguelite strategy game that merges space combat and resource management with a tint of dark humour. Players take on the role of an employee for “The Company,” stuck in a dead-end job with no immediate way out. Since quitting isn’t an option yet, you make the most of it: while performing regular duties of scavenging wreckage from high-risk combat zones, you’ll get the opportunity to meet new allies, uncover privileged information, and “accidentally” forget to report valuable assets to use on your own personal ship.

However, the adrenaline rush of the illegal activities can make people feel more powerful than they are. In Nonentity Galaxy, evaluating the chances of winning is an important part of the gameplay. Players must learn to find the balance between fulfilling the Corporate requests, their own survival and the level of risk they can take on battles in order to survive.

GET OUT THERE, SURVIVE, COME BACK, REPEAT

Survival in Nonentity Galaxy is driven by decision-making. Players must choose how to reinforce their ship, which routes to follow on each mission, and when a fight is worth engaging. Planning is as important as firepower, and each sortie is a calculated gamble.

Routes offer different rewards and dangers: safer paths provide stability, while riskier ones promise rare modules and higher payouts. During combat, players must constantly assess their chances of victory, managing damage, resources, and salvage in real time. Winning a battle means little if you can’t make it back.

Between missions, players will have the chance to decide how to upgrade their ships. Components collected during exploration can be used to enhance weapons, shields, and systems, or converted into credits to spend elsewhere. Deciding how to allocate these resources is key to survival and can change the course of future missions.

STRATEGIC BATTLES ACROSS THE GALAXY

Combat in Nonentity Galaxy puts players in charge of tactical decisions without forcing them into every battle. You can let the Fleet AI handle engagements automatically, or take manual control to focus fire, reposition ships, and exploit weaknesses. Formation and positioning are critical, how you arrange your fleet affects both damage output and survival. Targeting priorities change the pace of fights, rewarding careful planning and quick thinking.
Just remember that sometimes, the smartest choice is to warp out early and preserve your fleet; dying yields nothing, but surviving lets you return to your base, upgrade your ships, and come back stronger for the next sortie.

DON’T FORGET TO PUT ON YOUR BRIGHTEST SMILE

Narrative depth and galactic politics remain central pillars of the game. Players step into the role of sneaky pilots, skimming credits from The Company and secretly upgrading their fleets while pretending to be model employees to keep their paychecks.
However, between sorties, they can rest on the Space Station bar and engage in conversations with other veteran pilots, navigating the murky “grey zones” where alliances, rivalries, and schemes unfold. Always tinged with sharp, dark humor that colors every conversation and decision.

Gameplay & Story
FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and Legendary DSO agent Leon Kennedy star as the dual protagonists of Resident Evil Requiem, offering players a unique combination of death-defying action and spine-tingling survival horror. As revealed previously, both protagonists will be playable in first-person perspective for deeper immersion, and third-person perspective for more dynamic action, swappable at any point during the game.

  • Leon Kennedy: Leon, experienced in both hand-to-hand combat and firearms, is investigating a series of suspicious deaths. While navigating this deadly situation, he’s able to wield a variety of weapons and execute close-quarters combat maneuvers with the all-new hatchet. Perfect Leon’s skills as you time your moves to parry enemy attacks, turn the tables as you attack with a chainsaw seized from an enemy, and pull off exhilarating finishing moves to deliver the final blow.
  • Grace Ashcroft: Grace begins her survival journey in a sanatorium overrun with zombies, requiring fierce judgement when deciding which enemies to fight and which to avoid. The Requiem assault revolver, a special nod to the game’s name, is a custom gun boasting immense power and will likely be your last resort for survival. With limited ammo, will you use it right away or save your ammo for the horrors ahead?
  • Zombies: The zombies in this game have lost their minds, however some seem fixated on actions from their lives before death. A chef obsessed with cooking, a singer who keeps singing, a janitor who polishes mirrors endlessly…Could you exploit their behaviors to outmaneuver them?
  • Elpis: Elpis is the keyword that connects everything: the death of Grace’s mother, Alyssa Ashcroft; Grace’s own past; and the story connected to Leon. It’s up to you, the player, to unravel the mystery that leads to the truth behind the events depicted in Resident Evil Requiem.
  • Difficulty: Players can choose from multiple difficulties when experiencing the horror and action. Casual offers aim assist, plus more forgiving player health and enemy durability. Standard (Classic) heightens the tension, requiring Ink Ribbons for each save while playing as Grace, demanding strategy not only in resource management but also when to save.

In addition, through mobile devices and televisions that support GeForce NOW, you can enjoy Resident Evil Requiem wherever you are. A separate GeForce NOW membership subscription is required.

Resident Evil Requiem is also being optimized for a wide range of PCs ahead of its worldwide release, with high-spec PC players able to enjoy additional cutting-edge technology from NVIDIA, with DLSS 4 and path-traced effects that accelerate performance and enhance image quality.

Collaborations
It’s time to unveil an extraordinary collaboration with the historic watch company Hamilton which has intricately designed two dazzling watch models that replicate those worn by Leon and Grace in-game in stunning detail. The Khaki Field Auto Chrono (Leon) and the Pan Europ Automatic (Grace) can be purchased starting on Friday, February 27, the same day Resident Evil Requiem launches, and are extremely limited with only 2,000 units available worldwide.

And racing to the finish line is the lightning fast collaboration with Porsche, the automaker that has captivated car enthusiasts worldwide for decades. A one-of-a-kind Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has been created with complex 3D printing technology, perfectly customizing the vehicle to fit into the game’s distinctly dark world. Designed around the core themes of performance and survival, this custom SUV appears in the game as Leon’s vehicle – a legendary ride for a legendary character.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 + Dark Ties Game Preview

YAKUZA KIWAMI 3 is an extreme remake of the action-adventure beat ’em up Yakuza 3 featuring ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu’s fight to protect those he loves. DARK TIES is a brand-new game featuring Yoshitaka Mine from Yakuza 3 included as a separate action-packed experience. Last week, SEGA had us out to the BUDONOKI in Los Angeles for an exclusive preview event to check both games out. Listening to a pre-recorded video from the game’s developers at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio explained that this was more than just a remastering.

In Yakuza Kiwami 3, Kazuma Kiryu runs the Morning Glory orphanage and spends his days helping the youngsters out to increase his “Daddy Level”. The Daddy Level is increased by doing things like helping kids with their homework, sewing clothing, preparing meals, planting crops in the garden, and A LOT more. Each of these is basically a mini game with plenty of over the top Yakuza style action thrown in. I had so much fun jumping in and out of these mini games. It breaks up the core gameplay a lot and adds hours upon enjoyable hours to your total playtime.

Of course, Kiryu soon finds himself battling his way across Okinawa. The city is chock full of various activities to take part in – from Mahjong parlors to Karaoke and a lot more. The side quests are also plentiful and, in my playthrough, Kiryu was even recruited by a TV travel host and crew to take them around the city. Of course, things go South along the way and Kiryu is forced to use his fists and flying kicks to settle a problem. The combat is visceral and satisfying. It didn’t take a lot of time to get the hang of fighting and the colorful enemies Kiryu encounters add extra Yakuza flare to the game. Kiryu has two different fighting styles to choose between – The Dragon of Dojima Kiwami style (which is based in shootboxing) and the Ryuku Style (which uses weapons and provides a balance between offense and defense).

The game’s new Bad Boy Dragon game mode is a total blast. In this mode, Kiryu joins up and becomes the chairman of the Haisai Girls motorcycle club. The goal of this mode is to add new members to the club and increase its power. Of course, you can also rumble with rival clubs and the action is fast, furious, and fun as you jet around on motorcycles to claim territory. You can even customize your motorcycles and outfits for style purposes.

In your travels, you’ll even come across a full-on SEGA Game Gear emulator! And this just scratches the surface of all the different activities and mini games that can be found in Yakuza Kiwami 3 + Dark Ties. Speaking of Dark Ties, the game trades the whimsy of Yakuza Kiwami 3 for a darker tone. In the level of Dark Ties that we got to play, Yoshitaka Mine works to assist his lieutenant Tsuyoshi Kanda as he seeks to bolster his reputation and rise in the ranks by resolving a series of dramatic substories, local disputes, tasks and missions around town in the Kanda Damage Control segment.

In the Hell’s Arena underground fight club game mode, Mine must survive a series of death-defying battles to bring down Hell’s Arena’s fight club organizers who pose a threat to the Nishikiyama Family’s operations. As Mine, players must survive Hellish Brawls, traditional one-on-one fights that push participants to the brink, and Survival Hell, dangerous races where competitors are relentlessly chased by hunters through a treasure-filled dungeon.

Overall, our preview of Yakuza Kiwami 3 + Dark Ties was one of the most fun events I’ve been to in a long time – and while Budonoki and SEGA staffers were all amazing to work with, the fun was in large part due to the games themselves. Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties are so much fun to play and provide a ton of variety as well as plenty of action to satisfy both long-time fans of the franchise as well as players new to the Yakuza world. Yakuza Kiwami 3 + Dark Ties is set to launch on February 12, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. For more information on pre-orders, please visit the official game website.

Overall Preview Rating – 5 out of 5
